I think a lot of people drifted away because they got bored. We lost a few regular posters at around the same time, and then C36 put a real dampener on everything as we all tried to figure out what we could and couldn't talk about... and at the same time, a lot of folks simply stopped posting. All DNR should include every kind on comments on service, from the first communication, to the last, including location. Often, those ladies go by ����, so one service offered to one might not be the same for the other. Some providers also have techniques they rather keep to themselves. Discretion thing. And last, the provider might have personnal reasons wanting not to be reviewed. It's her choice, please, respect it and do not talk about her. Been PM'ing with a MA that is going Indy and she is the midst of moving. As a provider, we are allowed to advertise our services. There are some exceptions (i.e. near a school, church, children present etc). However, a third party may not advertise my services. So, places like Lyla (they are considered a third party) cannot accept our advertisement if we are specifying specific services. Before c-36, we could not advertise our services in a public place. However, we could advertise specific services online, as the internet was not considered a public place. With the changes, they made third party advertising (Lyla, backpage etc), illegal. So the change is not "space", but third party advertising. If I could create my own personal Lyla/backpage that only advertised myself, I would be allowed to do this. I could be as specific as I like. However, I would not be allowed to include anyone else on my site - just me. Hope this helps! What is interesting in the craigslist ads - the advertiser is soliciting services (if specified), which is clearly against the law. However, as they are not actually being specific, just alluding to what they want, it is not being challenged at this moment. However, I would not put it past a law enforcement to go and see what the advertiser wants in order for the person responding to the ad to get the free rent. Send in an undercover officer, and get it on record. So, it should be interesting to see how this works out.

The Minister of Justice received a mandate letter from the PM. In it there were a number of priorities. First on the list was assisted death legislation, second was missing and murdered indigenous women and girls. Fourth was to review the changes to our criminal justice system made by the pervious government. Bill C-36 is likely to be addressed in the review of changes to the criminal justice system. A single bill is possible, it would address the minimum sentencing requirements (recently struck down) as well. I expect that the inquiry into MMIWG will also make comments on C-36 and whether or not it places sex workers at greater risk than an alternative approach. The new government is movie with deliberate speed (caution). If the response to physician assisted death is any indication, one can expect legislative proposals that satisfy nobody but don't really annoy the majority.

According to the Justice Minister, this is on their radar and will be looked at and I think that may begin soonish. She has mentioned on numerous occasions when asked that it will be addressed and those it impacts included in the conversation. Up until this point, the Liberals had bigger fish to fry with only two examples being the assisted suicide bill that was on a time limit and the missing indigenous women. With the budget announcement last week, plans are in place for both so now would be a good time for a push on the Minster. This legislation may be exceedingly important to us but when you're a new government with a list of things to correct, it may not be a top priority on the priority list.

I am posting on this thread against my gut feeling....allow me to explain why. I have been an active poster for many years, ( sadly lost 1000 post somewhere along the way). Seems that year by year, we have actually less and less tolerance for other peoples points of view or simply jump on one another for either simple ignorance or even as silly as misspellings! I have witnessed an increased amount of " slamming" or belittling over simple mistakes. Trying to be smarter, wiser or more ethical than the last poster. Even right now.... I was going to post from my phone, but for whatever reason my phone will not show autocorrect, so I am using my laptop. Not that I am stupid or anything but with this post I have learned that if my spelling or grammar is not 100% perfect people will always point out any small mistake I may make! I had not realized that I was supposed to have an English major to post. I find this is unethical, and very distracting to the points I am trying to get across. Seeing backlash for simple errors is not lighting the room in a happy glow. Also, I have witnessed many new Gent's and Ladies who are just trying to learn the ropes, only to get slammed by senior posters that it is a " dumb" question, or what not. These poor souls end up slinking back and afraid to post again for fear of being judged. I have many GF's that feel this way about Lyla ( CERB). And is sad to hear that as this site was always a great way to feel like we belong and not isolated. I feel there is new era, " Dog Eat Dog" as the saying goes, where once we stood together. A person tries to post their views only to be told by a gang of people how stupid they are! I have seen some who have long term memberships say very extreme bulling statements here and yet no one stands against them , it is not reported or challenged cause well it was so and so and anyone who opposes them will get the wrath! This only creates an unhealthy balance of equality for a community such as ours! Where some can get away with what ever they wish as long as it is sugar coated and fluffed with big words , and the straight up comments not nearly as vicious seem to get the wrath. I agree fully that all posts and discussions should be performed in good taste and conscience, and when I see some who are obviously " baiting" another into an argument that can be seen as "hostile" that does not seem fair. It is our human nature to try to defend ourselves when so wrongly misquoted. For these reasons, I simply do not post in any hot topics. We have lost the ability to speak with grace and understanding. Until we do, this site will only continue to become barren:( I do not agree that our new laws are to blame. Who is to say that your not simply posting on your own " date life experience" ? I mean it is not like we ever stated... " when I spend an hour with....and I was unhappy" NO...our ADULT CONVERSATIONS always have been in GENRAL. I've touched on this before with this site, and for one being a little longer in the tooth have been enjoying the variety of responses the ladies have been offering. Thank you. As with some of the older men here, we've experienced life pre internet. When lifestyles such as this were, for lack of another word, a bit more clandestine and a bit more of a search. Women and men interacted a little slower than the speed of data. As I've been discovering this sight , a recurring theme on male age that overall is respect, courtesy etc. This of course is a general observation not a rule, I was a young bull once and held the same respect for Ladies as I do now. So my question for the Ladies, how much do you think the internet and social media, have played in the real world affects on mens sexuality today.How has the chase, seduction ,approach to women has changed from 40 years ago.
