2 pointsRent, insurance, utilities are some of the fixed costs I mentioned earlier. These liabilities have to be paid whether they are open or closed. When they finally do reopen, I believe it will take some time before the business gets back to what it was before. And it certainly wasn't booming before they had to close. I think the owners will have to have some deep pockets to carry on. And if we all think back and reflect on some of our experiences in the clubs over the years, the owners aren't exactly marketing geniuses. Overpriced drinks, cover charge to enter the champagne room, filthy bathrooms in disrepair, the owners will have to review the issues and think about how they can gain a competitive edge over the other clubs. Dealing with all this will take money and what little SC business we have here in the Ottawa region there will probably be less when it gets going again.

2 pointsI think we all know that many SPs will struggle financially over the next few months. Each of us also know the regulars we enjoy and trust. Want to help someone you care about? Simply send a $150. deposit now toward your next booking. And next month, do the same to another of your trusted regulars. This allows for some cashflow to live and pay bills. Some don't need it....but many will...ask! Lastly, this is not the type of service to be pressurizing for discounted rates. Creating pleasure and enjoyment, with a smile, takes a rare combination of professional and personal skills...full fee payment is our best way to say "thank you".

1 point"Copied from a legitimate news source" Sources close to the White House are saying President Donald Trump is insisting on changing current laws which will make prostitution legal. He was overheard speculating that too much emphasis is being given to the current situation. His reasoning is that if prostitution became legal, taxes collected would help pay for the ventilators. "The taxes collected in New York alone would more then pay for the 2200 ventilators they need, AND my hotels would once again be able to start bring in revenue for me" he stated at a closed door meeting. When his staff questioned him on this, he backtracked slightly and said "the hotels I own would start generating revenue." When questioned about the number of ventilators needed, he stated he would kick in another 10 if they really needed them. Insiders are dumbfounded. One source claims "He doesn't even wear his pants in the office anymore, just his tighty whities, which reminds me of what Stormy Daniels went through." No official comment from the White House was available.

1 pointNot sure how true this is but I thought I heard on the radio that a strand of the virus is attacking the brain and with this there is no chance to come out of it(so far). This is called the Covid20. I need to find out more before admitting myself it is true, or if someone can find out for me, I'm no expert when it comes to internet.

1 pointOver the years my mother shared many recipes with me. I would take them and shove them in my recipe book never to be seen again. For the past three weeks I have pulled out those recipes and have been making lots of great things! The cooking/baking helps to pass the time and keep me busy, and the food has brought back fond memories.

1 pointYour theory is good but part of the problem will be that dancers like other SWs don't have a lot of other options right now. Nobody is working, not just the SWs. There are no other jobs or opportunities anywhere right now. So it is not like they are going to find another job. When this is over the number of people looking for work is going to be huge. I can see them hustling a lot more when this is over because they have to make up for lost money.

1 pointI'm not quite sure that SC's will ever go away as long as there are young guys that enjoy seeing beautiful girls removing their clothes and old men who have money to see that as well in private. That is why a fresh coat of paint will help among other things as well. I have seen some pretty nice looking establishment in the west coast some years ago and did think that if we had this around home I would visit more often. Keep in mind that I'm a married man and live far from any city(at least 1 hour anyway) so it's tough to come up with an excuse to visit them. It's not that I don't agree with what you are saying GT but I think there is still hope for them with a facelift.

1 pointFilling taxes is a good idea. I totally understand some people have situation where they can't. Biggest benefit is that if you register your work as business, you can claim travel, rent and car payment towards taxes. Few SPs I know have 'personal wellness consultant' as their main business category. Doing so will also help with credit history and RRSP for old times. Credit score allows you to pay less in car payments/mortgage. Yes, it sounds great to not paying taxes, but individual benefits over long term are way more than what you put in. Again, I am not judging whether you pay tax or not. Just suggesting that everyone should. Another trick is not declare all of income, just declare enough to keep tax man happy.

1 pointThese are myths. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/taiwan-experts-self-check/ https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/drinking-water-prevent-coronavirus/ There is a lot of misinformation making the rounds, some innocent like these, others which can be harmful. The provinces and govt of Canada all have excellent websites setup with helpful information. I suggest relying on that. The best thing right now is to limit social contact. For me, that means avoiding hobbying for a few weeks or months. I know that's not easy, particularly for those who earn a living up close and personal. Right now everyone needs to consider taking a holiday or altering dates temporarily to reduce the risk of transmission. Stay safe everyone.
