  1. I came across this today and got a kick out of it, so I thought I'd share it :) We can all become professional cuddlers http://www.thesnuggery.org/index.html One of my advocate friends from the states told me they did an investigation into one of these places, because the DA's office couldn't believe that men would just pay for cuddling. smh. goes to show how much they really don't know about our industry.
  2. Thanks Steve, I'd invite you to celebrate it, since I'm having some wine right now, but you're a little far away and even my 10 ft feat, can't reach that far lmao :) Additional Comments: I suppose you're correct RG with that statement. For me it just seems really ridiculous to make statements like that against ladies who work hard to maintain their reputations and level of service. Like I said in another thread, the police better have a grave dug for me already if they think I'd give up that info. I've outright called McKay a disgruntled pooner, he definitely looks like one.
  3. I'd just like to know why some people - "guys" keep suggesting it in some of the threads? Oh maybe they'll retire or be blackmailed by police, some of the suggestions are pretty out there. That's just ridiculous!
  4. In almost every thread I read about C 36 someone brings up sp's might get some idea to start outing clients for whatever reasons. Come on guys seriously? Established ladies are not going to do that and that whole thing has been taken out of context by some. Terri Jean Bedford, specifically said she would name names of the supporting parties, conservatives, who voted for C .36 BUT see ladies, because she felt it was hypocritical. At no time did she say she was going to hand over her entire black book and out everyone, just conservatives who voted for C 36. She was also very angry when it was said initially. I haven't had a personal conversation with her in weeks about it, as I've been busy, so I can not give you a direct answer on what her decision is regarding it. For the record, Terri Jean is retired, she is VERY sick and has a fatal illness, so in her mind, she has nothing left to lose. I know there's been a lot of back and forth about this and it's making a lot of people question the integrity of ladies possibly outing clients, so I just wanted to clear the air about it. I know there was a poll taken on one of the major news sites (can't recall right now) but I can tell you the Canadian public were overwhelmingly in support of it. When I checked it last, it was well over 75% and that was weeks ago, there were 100's of votes. Please don't jump to conclusions about ladies discretion, just because this happened is all I'm asking.
  5. Hello everyone, I'm back in Vancouver after a 2 year touring event :) Weather has been great for this time of the year, but well, the rain has set in lol.
  6. I think everyone just really needs to calm down seriously lol .. It's really not as bad as what the media etc. are making it out to be. As an activist for this industry sp's and pooner's alike, the abolishment agencies have their own agenda and it takes WAY too much manpower and tax dollars to go around busting indie sp's. You come to a city like Vancouver where there are literally thousands of sp's and it'd take them forever to bust every single indie in this city, although Vancouver has already made it quite clear they have no desire to partake in enforcing the laws in the new bill. As for an sp outing her clients, come on guys seriously? No sp in her right mind is going to damage her business reputation, for those of us that have been around for YEARS (decades in my case), the police better dig a grave for me before they ask me to out my clients. I come from a very different era of being an sp and outing clients was one of most taboo subjects my first indoor boss ever taught me. I'm stubborn that way, heck it took me years to even offer girlyfriend exp because that was so taboo when I was taught. For the gentlemen who was commenting about posts on the baby cow, the sp in question used face pics in her ads while touring (which is a big no-no) and the Alberta hotel industry has a big beef with sp's for the past two years, this is WHY she got busted. I'm also sure there's probably a bit more to that story and technically she wasn't busted, she was asked to vacate the hotel, she wasn't taken down the station, fined or anything that I recall. That's not being busted, that's being removed from a hotel that didn't want her present there any longer. A client could've outed her, a disgruntled sp, a guest in a room next to hers, who knows, but there's more to it than what was said. I have an online business, have had it for years, one of my best friends of over 20 years, is the GM of a major hotel chain in Alberta. She's totally cool with sp's working in the hotel, as long as they pay their bills and don't cause drama. Every year they host conferences (few times a year), share information and tactics to prevent being ripped off. Two years ago a guy was sent from Montreal with a bunch of ladies to Alberta and instead of legitimately paying for the rooms the ladies and he were using, he decided to be a clown about it and use a credit card scrambler machine, raking up over $600K in bills in various hotels along the gateway blvd strip - my girlfriends hotel was one of them. The hotel owners have a right to be mad, they have a right just like we do to protect our business interests. So this is what the put into policy and I did send someone over to the baby cow to let them know and the majority of people didn't take it seriously, that's their problem. If you dress in a manner that the hotel staff deem to be inappropriate you get put on a watch list in the managers office. If you are acting derogatory or demeaning to any of the staff and they have you on that watch list, guess what? They're calling the police. They'll look you up on backpage and whatever other sites, see if they can spot you using face pics, boom you're outta there. I'm not saying it's right, but at the same time if I was ripped off a few hundred K, I'd be a little choked too. When I tour and am in hotels, I'm probably one of the most grubbed out looking customers in the hotel, whenever the staff see me. My hair is up in a bun, no makeup on and I'm wearing sweats and sneaker's, I'm always very polite to all of the staff and reveal bits and pieces of my other work, so they never suspect anything. I'm always super quiet, tip well to housekeeping and ensure there's nothing in my room that will give me away as being an sp. I don't run around half naked, giving attitude, partying it up in my hotel room and bring myself unwanted attention EVER. I went to one of the hotel owner and managers conventions with my girlfriend earlier this year and another sp, all of that information about their new policies came right from the horses mouth. If that incident wouldn't have happened, things would probably be lax just like it used to be, but when you start ripping people off, they're going to take action and you can't blame them. Alberta does have stings every year that they partake in, usually twice a year .. October is definitely one of the months they do it, every year like clockwork. They meet their quota and boom it's over with. Additional Comments: I just wanted to add a few more things, as an activist, I've had more than my fair share of dealing with abolishment agencies and I know first hand what their objectives are. Minorities are number one on their target lists for being "rescued" and anyone suspect of being a minor (insert sarcastic tone -because you know all younger ladies are pimped), people that they think have a high possibility of being "rescued". So older ladies and those that are well established, I highly doubt will have any problems with police. The police will go do their door knocks on some Asian massage parlours and micro's to shut up the abolishment agencies, so they've got some people to rescue and it keeps everyone "happy". For the record, I've worked in this industry for almost 3 decades, just a few years shy of that, I started when I was VERY young ( a minor in fact) and I've had ZERO dealings with police personally, about me, pertaining to my work. And any time they've shown up at my door, they've point blank said, we know you're working and we don't care. My bad for having a crazy ex boyfriend and working with an sp that had serious personal issues. They know I'm a lifer and not going to give them squat for information, so they don't bother. Don't panic guys, just mind your P's and Q's, stick with long term established ladies and do your research, you'll be fine.
  7. If you need some help, just shoot me a text and I'll send you some info. Additional Comments: VERY true, hosting is cheap too, you can get pkgs from $49 a year.
  8. Wix is okay, but wordpress is 100 times better. I've been designing web sites since 1996 :) I don't believe in outrageous prices either, like some people do, no need for it with wordpress.
  9. I've got a crush on Gordon Ramsay too, Jamie Oliver and used to have a crush on Alton Brown, but that beard has got to go!
  10. I'm a movie freak lol The Judge is by far, hands down the best movie I've seen so far this year but then again I have a mad crush on RDJR, so it can't be helped that I am bias. Oculus - which is supposed to be a "scary" movie, wasn't, bit of a yawner for me. Annabelle - same, pretty boring. Ouija - lame Nightcrawler - not my type of flick but Jake Gyllenhaal is definitely a creeper in it for sure. November Man- was okay Lucy- loved it John Wick - thought it was supremely overrated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (don't ask lol, but I had to watch it) .. It was okay. Life of Crime - was interesting Good People - was interesting Begin Again - I really loved this movie and Mark Ruffalo is nice to look at :) Gone Girl - crazy good movie. This is Where I Leave You - It had it's funny moments Chef - loved this movie too Godzilla - interesting remake Boyhood - very interesting movie, I enjoyed it Amazing Spiderman - didn't like it at all Guardians of the Galaxy - same as above Transcendence - was different but Johnny Depp is always hit or miss Purge Anarchy - loved it, because it's twisted lol Sex Tape - big yawner, not Cameron's best by any means. No Good Deed - was good. Neighbours - ridiculously dumb Robocop - interesting remake (wish he'd take off his helmet, dude under there is smokin hot - guy from Star Trek that plays Bones) X-men and Captain America - all I can say is yummy lol I've seen tons more, but that's about the gist of it lately lol
  11. bahaha .. more than likely on the facepalm mode, then again you might end up shaking your H so much you go into continual neck spasms :)
  12. Hey Leah, I can help you for sure, built tons of web sites, shoot me a text tomorrow, 778 919 9403 just tell me who you are so I answer you lol
  13. Thanks :) I asked a couple of pooners before I decided what to change it to, they liked it as it rolls off the tongue, not sure if they mean't literally or figuratively lol
