How can I save a save a cell phone message for free?

I want to save a cell phone message. Right now I can only save it on my cell phone for 3 days.

 

I would like to save it for ever. Is there away? For free? I'm on Telus.

Use a wire that connects the phone headphone jack to your computers Line in and record it on the computer.. would be one way.

I suspect you can use an app for that like Tape-a-Talk. So instead of recording your voice you can use to record message as you play it

I assume you mean a voicemail message? If not, I apologize.

 

Otherwise, phone your cell phone from another phone, then when it goes to voicemail press the button to enter the menu for voicemail, on Telus I think it is "*" but I am not 100% on that. It will prompt you to enter your passcode, then you can manage and listen to your voicemails.

 

If you do this from a VoIP app on your computer or a different phone you can then record the call assuming the VoIP programme you choose offers this feature. Many of them do. You may need to register a VoIP account, too, but free trials are available sometimes.
