Well it was fun but I am out

Honestly, I am now leaving the hobby so I can live a clean life with a happy relationship. I went in because I was lonely and wanted to know what being with a woman is like, now I have a real relationship and the "hobby" can't compare to that.

I am much more sexually confident and I learned a bit as I explored but I want to go, I dont want to be broke or HIV positive before I am even 25.

I love my girlfriend very much and that might sound ironic coming from a man that slept with SP's, she does not know and I never want her too know. I want a clean break so I can spend all my time with her, marry her and start a family.

This hobby was fun but it has no place in that future. I look forward to not having to be living in fear of be caught or of HIV/AIDS. I am not judging any John or SP for what they do it is just not for me and it is certainly not good for my love.

I will know by June whether or not, if I have escaped scot free without any horrible VD

Thank you, I just wanted to clear my chest

Additional Comments:

I hope I am not insulting anyone by saying that

I puzzled over this post, and debated before relying.

Many people go through different stages in their personal lives, moving from celibacy to dating, to experimentation, to monogamy and back again. Most make those transitions without dramatic announcements.

I'm glad you are happy with your current relationship, but, as you acknowledge, you benefited in many ways from your time with sp's, gaining experience, confidence and a reprieve from loneliness. Wouldn't it have been better (if you had to post about your departure) to leave with a note of deep appreciation to those women who were gracious enough to spend time with you, and wish them well?

Instead you tell them how glad you are to be escaping the risk they posed to your health. Now, unless you were deliberately engaging in unsafe practices, the risk of HIV is very slight, and, as Danielle notes, does not disappear when you start a "conventional" relationship.

And what a slap in the face this is to any provider who spent time with you. At best that was really thoughtless and unkind to post.

My 2 cents.

Well, I am sorry to insult you I really am and each person i was with we played safe but for me I just have this massive fear of getting HIV no matter how safe it is. It not you it is me to make it more simple, and now that I have a regular relationship I want to protect her and I dont know what I would do if I was responsible if she caught something. I do wish the SP's that I was with well, I have even praised one on this very website.

The one SP that I spent the most time that I developed a connection with is retired and she not active on the site, and even if she was I would send her a private thankyou which would be better then something publicly posted.

I was not trying to insult the SP's, I was just trying to get it of my chest in someway because this is the only place safe to do so. I am deeply sorry if you thought I was taking a swipe at SP's I was not at all.

I made the post not to be a drama queen, but to express myself freely and to create a statement I have to hold to so I do not relapse back into the hobby

Everyone has right to express their self but how you went about it was uncalled for and very insulting

You could have just thanked the ladies for their time and all that they have done for you and simply said.good bye to Lyla but you basically attacked their characters(and all ladies in this profession for that matter)

Not sure if you understand what I said in my first response to you but.....if you have unprotected.... with anyone you are at risk to catch something .... most ladies I know in this business play safe and have enough respect for herself to do so...and if you felt so strongly about catching HIV from one in this business why be with one? ???

Have a good one

I as a SP accept your apology although there may have been better routes to take .

I would only like to add that the chances of you catching any STD is way higher from a non working lady. We don't take any health risks, we protect you our clients, your SO's and ours. I assure you we have a huge responsibility and I for one take it most seriously.

Now the lady you meet in a restaurant, bar or through a friend. Does she have the same self care routine? Are you sure she always practiced safe sex? What about her previous partners? Just something to think about .

I wish you love and happiness in your new relationship.

thankyou for your reply, as much as I worry about STDs, I worry much more about passing something to my partner, and I want to be faithful to her.

I appreciate your reply

why don't you ask your 'new love' if she has a clean test?

I'm pretty sure she would be insulted, as was I, when I read this post.

Katherine and Danielle are correct here, I feel insulted that you chose to 'sleep with sp's but am afraid of becoming HIV before I'm 25'. The sp's I know are clean and well cared more medically.

We sp's take great care to be clean, for all of those involved in our lives. Can you say that about your 'new love'? Did she screen every single person she has been with in here life? I know I did.

I am hoping that everything works out for you in this new relationship, it is wonderful when someone finds their true love, but be aware that since you are hiding the fact that you slept with sp's, maybe she has something to hide also, something to think about.

I never asked for a clean test from an SP ever, I was with very professional women and we practiced safe sex. I was never criticizing any SP at all I am sorry if you feel offended. For my relationship I will be tested before seeing her, I am lying to her about my history true but that is why I want to stopping being apart of the hobby so it stays to just one lie.

I am deeply sorry if your offended I was talking about my personal fear, I was not criticizing any SP

Additional Comments:

I think you have accomplished that, at least as far as seeing any ladies from Lyla is concerned!

Yes, I have burned that bridge thought that was not my intention, I did not mean it to be a criticism of the SP's. The post was for self criticism, I was being critical of my own choices.

Since I saw the first post on this thread and resisted posting I have had the feeling I was first on the scene of an impending train wreck... you just knew that the insulting tone of the OP was not gonna be received well...

I can accept th OP's explanation that he never intended to insult anyone but he should take the hint apologize and then leave quietly...

Hmmm when someone says they hope they aren't insulting anyone, guaranteed, they want to insult someone

And this character posting five posts in this goodbye thread. He has a total of twenty four posts since he joined...five just this thread

He reeks more of a troll now, not member...don't feed him

Right! I'm starting to think the same thing

Any other gentlemen who has decided to retire for whatever reason did so in a respectful way and thanked and appreciated all of the ladies not belittle them

That's fine if you as an sp accepts.his apology but I find this rather insulting....maybe if he didn't keep responding back with the same thing and realized what he said was wrong then I would accept it but nah I'm good

Being such an energy-sucker as why and how you started this thread, you won't be relapsing with SPs like me, that's for sure!

Your lack of respect from the start, and then your need to justify yourself is just pittyful, from my point of view, anyways...

Adding to the insult, you make a direct link between HIV and SPs. Not all HIV+ are escort, not all escort are druggies, and not all HIV+ are druggies. Your link is very judgemental towards SPs AND HIV+.

You just proove one of the reasons why age is a pre-requirement for some of us. You still have a lot to learn...

Oh! And adding a justification to my post would really not be appreciated.

As other stated, keep protecting yourself as much ass we do, and if you reffer to a specific unprotected event, I strongly suggest you complain to the MOD, not to us, as she deserves to be banned...

No apologies accepted here...

If you were not even in a relationship at the time, you don't even have to lie about it!

I was being critical of my own choices.

You just keep digging yourself deeper. Choosing to see escorts was a bad choice? Seeing the particular SPs you saw was a bad choice?

Adding insult to injury.

Don't dig it any deeper.

A simple good-by would have been enough.
