I would be worried that there will be some bait and switch or something wrong with the provider or worse I'm about to get mugged. From my experience, most clients who are willing to pay above the average rate are sweet and nice people. The barely ask about your service or try to negotiate with you. What they are looking for is companionship and sex is just 1/3 of the time they book. Can someone explain to to me how lowering your rates helps you do anything but work harder for less money?! You choose your price, but the higher it is, the fewer clients. The lower it is, more will be able to afford it. I know this is just a generalization, but the women who lower their prices might want more clients, so I don't blame them. I can remember talking to strippers who said business was slow, so they were raising their rates to make up for lost money. Of course it got even slower after that! Cute, eccentric, different or whatever catches my eye. Rate takes a back seat to that. Obviously, I know what I can afford but its not an negotiation. If someone questions your rate I think is in bad taste and certainly wont contribute anything to a session. I do think there is a line I wont go under. I once went to someone who offered a lower rate than I am used to. I figured, she is cute and looks kinda fun. Totally uninterested in making even an effort for a connection. So Mechanical would not even make eye contact. In and out in half the time! I would not care what price was offered I would not go back! The average being 250 which is fair. Charging less than 200 h may make people suspicious of you rightfully or wrongfully so. Also it will attract a certain type of clientele and not necessarily the best kind. 300 dollars is high but obviously if someone had a really good time with you and liked you they wont mind forking over another 300 dollars. For some people money is no object. However guys tend to like variety and are always curious about new faces. Sometimes that 50 dollar difference can sway ones choice. Then there are those that charge over 300 h. They are looking to build professional relationships with a very specific clientele. Going too high or too low for that matter can put you in danger of pricing yourself out of the market. Money can't buy you love but it can get you one hour of a girls time. fortunateone 156618 Report post Posted August 28, 2016 120hh 220hr is pretty standard in Ottawa Personally i think they are seeing the half hour rate or a bng rate, and either not realizing the low rate they saw wasn't for an hour, or are being deliberately misleading you. There is a type who do that, shame the escort for their rates, and actually lie about what everyone else is charging. For an hourly, the only reason someone might post a 100/hr rate is that they are not doing F S for that, or that everything is added on, or that it isn't actually a hour rate, it is their half hour. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I don't think I've ever gone over that because, to me, $200/h feels like it's still fun money. As soon as I go over that amount (because I do like to make multiple visits; MAs, too) I have to consider the "hit" too much. Or you could ignore twaddle and do whatever you like. One of the chief delights of self-employment is the opportunity to choose how much to charge for your time. There will always be potential clients who would like to usurp that prerogative, and threaten dire consequences for not falling in line with their expectations ($200>$0 for instance) Do what works for you, and change course when your own objectives require it. I think perrrhaps it should be one that is 'pinned' somewhere so it's always visible.. especially for newbies ;) Most providers, I would think, have experienced what she talked about, in some measure at least.. and I myself, do not regret one single choice I made.. or even those that were made for me.. albeit some of the things I was put through if I *had* the choice..
