Provider asking for a photo...

Recommended Posts

Just as I wouldn't ask a provider for additional photos showing her face, I wouldn't be comfortable sending them a photo of my face. I understand why some ladies may think this is necessary for their security, but if you are not comfortable with providing a photo move on to another provider. This is no different than various providers having different screening criteria. Each must decide what they (SP and hobbyist) are comfortable with and work with that. JMHO

That's a new one to me. I don't really see how that would help with her screening. Not sure I would feel comfortable with that myself, although I guess it depends if it is an established lady with a good reputation, or an unknown. With all of the scammers out there lately, I guess I'm getting jaded, but sounds risky to me.

It depends on the circumstances. If it's for a simple regular 30 or 60 min session, the picture shouldn't be relevant.

If you're negotiating a special session or arrangement, the picture exchange would be an acceptable request.

But if you don't feel comfortable with it, it's up to you.

In hanging around a few escorts, I see their routine.

As soon as they see your number, they check the location and copy and paste the number into Facebook. A large number of times they have where you live, if you are married, what you do for a living and what you look like in seconds.

I can't count how many time I've been in the car and had a phone handed to me with the question... "Does this guy look ok or shaddy?".

On the other hand, if you don't pop up on Facebook, they will sometimes ask for a photo if they are getting a weird vibe or are going to an area is that is sketchy.

Also, you would be surprised how many guys offer up pics of themselves on their own. :icon_cry:

I have asked for guys to send a pic just so I know they they are not a bad guy or, a thug. It can be scary at times. I like to try and weed them out a bit if I can. I have had a group of guys playing games with me in Halifax so, I like to see who is coming to my private residence before giving out my address.

At least one well-reviewed provider here in Halifax does (or used to) require a picture in order to book. I get why she wants that, it's her prerogative, but I'm sure it means she misses out on some clients as a result. Certainly that's why I never attempted to book an appointment with her. It doesn't mean she's wrong to do it, and I'm sure she's weighed the advantages and disadvantages.

Providers are of course able to set their own protocols which should be respected. Notably however this may restrict clientele since as a married hobbyist I would never risk distributing a photo electronically or revealing my real name / job / place of employment etc that some providers request. No judging their right to ask, but a non starter for me anyway.
