Several times recently while trying to book a session, SP's have requested being paid by e-transfer or paypal. While I can understand some one not wanting piles of cash lying around, I also don't want to get ripped off or have a bait and switch pulled on me. Has anyone on here booked a session this way? How did it turn out?

I have also ran into this. When I inquired she stated I had to E-transfer the total up front. We had never met. The SP was blaming BP and being burned since it went down. I was immediately sceptical so I therefore politely text back with conversation and questions. Once doing this she was polite and text back. Anyways to shorten this, I found she only answered some questions and avoided others. That was all the red flags I needed. This was also going to be an out call as requested by her. So if I had of...... just who would of showed ?? Or would anyone of ?

I wouldn't chance it and I don't believe anyone should.

To say the least, there are many nice, straightforward and honest ladies out there, stick with them. Do your research and read the reviews.

Never send anyone money through interac. Remember, they will get your real name and email address. Do you want a scammer to have that information about yourself?

Thanks to all who took the time to reply.Every time someone requested this I backed off. Just wanted to see if anyone else was running into the same problem. I haven't been on this site for very long but i have been enjoying this activity for over 20 years. As far as developing a client\SP relationship, I don't think I could. I like variety and rarely visit an SP more than once.

I've been requested to provide a deposit through e-transfer to "guarantee" that I show for a session with an sp. She sounds nice enough through our texting to setup the session but, sending through e-transfer does sound a bit risky to me. Can anyone suggest an alternate way to send funds that wouldn't identify the sender?

i can see it for an outcall, not the full amount but enough to cover costs of doing it at all. if she's got history and you can verify she exists, even if that means you find ads on other sites (used to be easier obviously) then it is up to you to decide or negotiate an appropriate deposit for her to make the trip.

sad to say the degenerate callers out there are stepping up their fake bookings for outcalls games recently, i've had a friend who had a 100% success rate for outcalls to any kind of residential or hotel location/setup, then all of a sudden a couple of months ago problem after problem. so now she wants half by etransfer if it isn't a hotel, and it is mor the than 15 minutes away, and i don't blame her at all.

she's had this game played on her, btw, by a guy who had gone to see her at her incall yet still played the no answer when at the door game, setting up for a walk to a house side door. now fortunately she didn't waste a lot of time or money to get there, but some sps are taking cabs or using drivers who need to get paid, and some sps are turning down or unavailable for another outcall or incall appt because they are traveling to this fak booking.

I use transfers for touring ladies and have never had problems.

Winnipeg has a very very bad issue with fake bookings, no call no shows. I know one lady who was here recently and had fifteen bookings, not one showed up.

Not even one.

She will not be back.

I request etransfers when I tour of about 50 bucks which goes toward their booking. Once recently I had to cancel a tour to Calgary, just not enough interest to go and make it worth it $$, so I refunded back the 3 gents their deposits. I would never ruin my rep for 50 bucks just not worth it.

Here in Winnipeg I started asking for deposits for gents who want to meet on a day I am not available, before I recently found a incall I was renting hotels one gent who I saw once before said he wanted to meet up. So I booked a hotel for 180ish after taxes. He no showed, hasn't even called to apologise till this day.

It's been said many times, DO YOUR RESEACH BEFORE YOU SEE ANY SP. Check to see if they have a webpage, any reviews, if they have a social page like Twitter, is it active or do they have followers, recent pics etc.

I don't have time in my life to search anyone's name to try and black mail them. Also with etransfers you could send it by cell phone or by email. On bank settings you change your gmail account to the one your using on here. Just remember to set it back.

Some don't want traces on their account, ok I get that. There is always old fashion Money Mart.

Cheers

When I initially became a provider I would request deposits in order to book a daytime date- as that requires me to take time from my 'regular' job. Luckily I have the flexibility to do so, but obviously it is lost income if my date doesn't show up. Similarly, I would request a deposit if I were traveling/touring and needed to book a hotel room up front. It's a double whammy to not only lose the income you would've earned but also lose $100+ on an unnecessary hotel booking.

I no longer require deposits while in Winnipeg, and mostly that's worked out well, though no-shows are always a bummer.

Consider the online reputation/presence of the provider you're interested in seeing. A provider with hundreds of CERB posts, reviews on various boards, and thousands of Twitter followers is not likely to risk her reputation over a $50 or $100 deposit.

I appreciate your post Ruby, But understand that I suspect genuine providers requesting e-transfers in advance are the minority with the scammers far out numbering them. We have to be cautious and make certain new members are educated on the e-transfer situation. I apologize if that impacts you and other legitimate providers who are utilizing the e-transfer deal. Keep in mind, when I see an ad for Ruby on Backpage, I know its gone now, but how do I know its not a scammer using the information and photos of a respected provider?

As for booking a hotel room, unfortunately that's the cost of doing business. A retailer has to put money out to buy stock with out any guarantees that his stock will sell. Its a gamble. As a retailer you're putting that money out with the belief you'll earn enough from it to cover the cost. I look behind me at my stock shelves and I see a dozen items that are no longer worth what I paid for them. Some are a complete and utter lose. I gambled and lost. The hope is you have more wins then loses.

I know you've said you're not using e-transfer any longer, but are you certain making those requests wasn't actually hurting your business? I'm pretty sure if you asked ten here, 80% or more would have ended the conversation there regardless of reputation.

Much respect to you Ruby, I understand you're telling us your side of things, I'm just doing the same from our side. Not trying to start a fight.

I dont like to compare my job with the "civie" world. This profession is a lot different than a grocery store/retailer. If your worried about people scamming you and your money I suggest you do your research on the SP as Ruby has stated.

I require deposit for incall hotel stays for a about 40 or 50 bucks if someone doesn't like it they don't have to book me or I can come them.

Cheers

Yeah ... I was regretting posting that comparison. I actually thought about removing it.

I appreciate you acknowledging that as it's not a great comparison. Escorts provide one-on-one services, much like doctors, wedding planners, massage therapists, life coaches, etc. Most professionals in these industries do have some sort of cancellation policy in place, and many likely do require some kind of deposit.

It is tough with scammers out there and I'm curious about the ratio of scammers to legit providers requesting deposits for outcalls/tour bookings is. Doing one's research really is the best bet. Even if a scammer has copied the photos/ad content from a legitimate provider into a fake ad, ensuring that the email an EMT is sent to matches the email found on their Twitter/CERB account/other ads etc will go a long way towards ensuring your money isn't sent into the ether. You can't be 100% certain, but you can be pretty damn close to that. Not requiring deposits for dates within Winnipeg has likely improved my business, but I'm unlikely to tour without deposits due to the unfortunate and money-losing experiences of other providers. It is an unfortunate reality but at the end of the day I need to do what I can to avoid losing money on a tour. Just my two cents- I appreciate yours too. 🙂

E Transfer upfront ? Personally......... not now not ever.

However if I were to cancel within 24 hours of a booked appointment, agreed upon remuneration would be provided.

Peace

As so many have correctly pointed out, his issue goes both ways.

I can certainly understand a lady requesting a deposit via e-transfer for the reasons stated.

I can also understand a guys reluctance to provide and e-transfer.

Like so many other aspects of this hobby it boils down to the person you are dealing with and your comfort level with them.

We are free to decide not to see someone and they are free to refuse service if we don't meet their criteria.

Once again, thanks to all who have commented on this topic. I didn't think it would generate this much interest, was really only hoping to hear from others who had booked this way and that it went well. I have seen positive and negative posts surrounding this.  Cinelli's post is a positive. On the negative side, two guys posted on the Brandon site that they sent a deposit to an SP and lost their money. Doing some research and only going to see reputable SP's seems to be the way to go.

Overall, in the time I have been a member of this site, I have to say I'm very disappointed with the number of reputable, real SP's in Winnipeg. A lot of women I try to contact don't even bother to respond. There are tons of bait and switch ads, of the women I've seen recently only Valerie Sinclair, Ella and Brittany match the photos in their ads. Apologies to all that I have not met who match their photos. All in all, as much as I enjoy this pastime, it's getting harder and harder to enjoy it.

I could see your last paragraph as a new thread now..lol

I think in every city there arent' a lot of reputable ones, I see this complaint on all boards across Canada and Winnipeg isnt as big as Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.  As far as knowing if they are true to pictures or not, a lot of us SPs are now on Twitter, thank God for social media. A lot of us post selfies daily and interact with our followers which can be a good thing or bad regarding our character.

Some say "but I'm too old for twitter" trust me its not hard to navigate, I find lyla harder and you dont need an account to "lurk"

Again do your research!!

As far as Mr. Blue its ok I know you didnt it mean it like that, as we met before so I sense it was a mistake. Hope you are well.

I keep trying. Sent a text to "jenny" last night. https://www.leolist.cc/personals/female-escorts/winnipeg/winnipeg_sexy_jenny_available_24_7_incall_downtown_or_outcall-3547194. 30 minutes later I get this reply; " I host at my condo downtown for incalls, rates for outcall are the same as incall. 200 for half 250 for 1 hour. Bareback full service with no restrictions, creampie, anal, bbbj and fetishes. I only accept interac transfer via email for payment prior to meeting for my safety as I'm independant and to be sure you're not a cop or law enforcement"

Needless to say, the conversation ended right there. Clearly fake on so many levels.

Funny on my twitter page I have a tweet "He says cash is king, I say deposits are Queen" Everyone has their own screening policy, plus don't you mostly go to massage parlours anyways?

You say have been pooning for 30 years, a lot has changed over time maybe it's time to get with the new age. Or you can stay behind the choice is yours. Have a great weekend.

Again do your research, who is this Jenny that is avaliable 24/7? Does she have reviews, does she has a social media presence, does she have a webpage? Stop picking women/girls with the head down below.
