Any of them can be easily found on facebook. For show quality, Rockalily was hands-down the best. Live music playing, dancers singing too... you can't beat that kind of show(wo)manship! How... ev... er... This was a while ago, and the three Rockalily dancers that really, truly knocked the crowd on their asses (be means of looks, skills, charm, etc)went to Capital Tease. There is one happening on Friday at Zaphod's in the market.....the event is called titties for Kitties and is a fundraiser for Westminster Pet Sanctuary, and Hungry and Homeless Cat Rescue. it features dancers singers and variety acts from pretty much every troupe in Ottawa that I can think of! I heard it was a lot of fun with a lot of great live acts at intermission and after the show. Wish I went. I saw A show a few months back...amazing! This is probably gonna be one of the best local X-mas burlesque shows ever..with variety acts, Vaudeville and of course some very sexy Burlesque! tickets are 10$ at the door. aneye4it 425 Report post Posted February 20, 2013 We here about escorts and the internet replacing strip clubs, we hear about the industry slowing down. I think strip clubs have gotten lax with the rules and forgot about the show. This may come as a surprise to some of you but prostitution came before strip clubs! Strip clubs are the evolution of Burlesque and have lost touch with the performance and the show. Some strippers are low mileage high priced SP's, no one tought them how to perform and entice with the show. Once Strip clubs get back to their roots about burlesque and the show things will be much better for the industry. Keep watching because I know one club that will make a change this spring. I've met Red Herring at a comic con in TO - she's gorgeous. She does a very funny burlesque send up of Star Wars/ Star Trek as well. Seeing one "daytime" brings it a whole different atmosphere. For anyone that has never seen a burlesque show, its worth attending, even for a little bit if you cant attend the whole show.
