Recommending Against an SP

Recommended Posts

Where can I post a review that recommends not to see a certain SP? I've recently had a disappointing experience, and wanted to make sure no one else will (with her, at least; I can't ensure you'll never have a bad experience with any other SP). The Recommendations thread seems to not allow "negative" reviews, otherwise I would have posted there.

Lyla is a RECOMMENDATION board , NOT review.

The only time negative posts are tolerated, is when posted in warning threads to expose fraud, bait & switch and dangerous encounters. But this thread is not to be abused and used as a way to express your disappointment with an experience.

If you don't recommend someone, simply don't write anything. Silence about a provider says a lot here. If you feel compelled to put it in writing, used an actual review board to post it.

I feel your pain about your experience because many of us guys have went through similar experiences and like Greenteal said unless it was a dangerous encounter or bait & switch or fraud you can't do say anything bad(negative) about her or the agency that she works for.

Keep you chin up and keep reading about the wonderful ladies that all the guys here have written nice things about, you will find the right girl for you one day.

What the others have said...Lyla is a Recommendation board not a review board.

It's in the Rules and FAQ's.  Here's the link https://www.lyla.ch/faq/

But the two rules near the top of the page are

- Post only positive recommendations! This is not a review board!

and

- If you do not have anything nice to say don't say it!

There are a lot of review boards out there, but Lyla is a recommendation board.  Here a bad experience doesn't warrant a review.  The only exception as Greenteal said is using the Warnings Section for Bait &Switch and Dangerous Encounters.

Best advice suck it up and don't see her again

Good Luck

Everything stated by members here is true. If you encountered a Bait&Switch, Dangerous Encounter or Scammed in any way, including time as time is what we pay for, feel free to post about your encounter in the Warning Section. Mods will first review your post before allowing it, not only since you are a newer member but because of the nature of the post.

Please send me a PM of your encounter. This board may never change so I'll leave with this, "If you aren't riding the wave of change you're slowly drowning beneath it."

There's no wave of change here. This board has always been a positive environment, there have always been other boards where you can trash providers if you like, and people have always complained about not being able to do it here.

Of course, if you're looking at negative reviews, you'll need to figure out the difference between the ones where someone genuinely had a bad experience through no fault of his own, and the ones where someone had a bad experience because he deserved to (e.g. by pushing a provider's boundaries), and the ones where someone's pissed off because he wanted services that the provider doesn't provide/didn't get a discount, and the ones where someone else in the business is trying to destroy a rival's business. Exactly how to tell the difference between all of those is left as an exercise for the reader.

I interpret the "wave of change" as how new members should read into limited informations and complete lack of recommendations. And this no matter if new providers or longtime members capitalizing on name recognition and outdated profiles. Doesn't take that long to learn to read between the lines and understand who to avoid without anyone spelling it out.

I may be wrong in what he meant, but that's the way I see it.

My two cents but it really isn't a "wave of change" being looked for so much as it is wanting Lyla to turn into just like the rest of the other boards.

If you want reviews, go to the other boards, there are a lot of them already out there

If you want a recommendation board, Lyla seems to fill a unique niche in the world of escort boards.

And I wonder how many on Lyla would leave if it turned into a review board, just like all the rest.  Many members prefer the positivity of this site and recommendations versus review policy of other sites.  If this offers nothing different or unique why stay?  Anyhow that was just a quick thought that popped into my head

A rambling for what it's worth

I'm not sure why you're assuming I'm looking to or like to trash providers. I just like being honest, honesty is what this board is missing, and I don't go looking for bad reviews I go looking for the full picture, not half of one. IMO, there's as much deciphering in positive reviews as there are in negative ones. My point is if you have to PM, "I wouldn't see her.", it's hiding being honest! PMing honesty is hiding the truth!

It's admirable that most of you don't want change, the more power to you, but how many threads and topics of late are in regards to what can be done to gain more members, participation and more recommendations? When the time comes to pass the torch, as they say, will there be anyone here to carry it? The answer here may ultimately depend on how much you all really care about this board, not yourselves.

Cheers,

It wouldn't be very nice, if the shoe was on the other foot and we had a thread against seeing certain clients. Honesty is wonderful, although your date with an SP, was your experience with her, and yours Alone. Does Not mean that the next person , feels the same as you, your honesty might not be that of another's. When you say negative comments it reflects on her, and can paralize her for income. You must remember this is OUR business, from websites, photography, screening, travelling etc,, choose wisely how you reflect on an encounter, now knowing the dentramental effects

This board follows my mother’s advice: “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all” - it’s sound advice.

BTW: The providers see your negativity - how sexy is that?

The worst part of the “reviews” is that the folks who build up theirs rep try to use it as a power base to blackmail providers.  “I’m big shit on TERB and you better make me happy or you’ll never work in this town again” - don’t be that guy.

Nothing gets me off more than a chick that really seems in to me.  That can be acting, I’m OK with that.  If that’s not what I get, I move on - she’s just not that in to me...

Just like real life ...

I met a really nice lady recently and she told me that on some of the other sites this one guy would give her a bad review but yet came back to see her(?????).  Also because of the bad review another gentleman decided to go and see her and has been a regular ever since.  So maybe it's true what they say, "good or bad review is advertising" and btw I did recommend her.

Sounds like manipulation to me. Last year someone posted a warning about a lady with a fake picture, but still recommended her. No matter if the use of stock photos or minor nitpicks, if the overall experience is positive, any light criticism can either be avoided or briefly mentioned in a constructive way.

But if worth the time to write a negative review or warning, it better be real and not done in a manipulative way.
