Scammers they were recently recommended by someone on here  I contacted them and right up front they asked for the deposit

Watch out for the people on here who give recommendations. They are phishing for people to scam. I can not find the original ad/post on here. Please verify any recommendations before going forward or sending money.

They are going to change the ad and number but here is a photo of them asking for email transfer upfront  A398F83E-950A-4E6F-BADC-A25119FCC201.thumb.png.db9219d3561a265b07b450749a04a90a.png

Thank you for the warning but I think you are confusing a recommendation for Alexia (last digits of her phone are 4506) who is a real person and this ad which has been using the same images for atleast a year and posts in 10 cities at once.

Always reverse image search all the images in an ad to see if they come back with multiple ads in different cities on the same day.

There are other instances of ads using different pictures and names but the same number, just do your homework before booking an appointment.

This should be in the Warnings forum.

Also, a bit of research would have told you this was BS from the start:

The ad:

https://www.leolist.cc/personals/female-escorts/northern-ontario/thunder_bay_140_pecial_5_blonde_all_natural_babe_ins_outcalls_duos-4800989

Where the pictures come from:

https://www.instagram.com/xokelliscott/?hl=en

Who ever recommended this is likely no longer a member.

Not sure what recommendation you're referring to. The only mention I found was in an inquiry you posted about her. There were no public posts of anyone meeting her and even less a recommendation.

If there was an actual posted reco in regard to the main topic, it was deleted. And hopefully the person behind it banned.

I think Sean is confusing the name Alexia and Alexii (the ad this topic is about) as the names are very similar

Yes, I got that part. But again even if it was the case, nobody ever recommended that other lady either.

Other than an inquiry, there was nothing endorsing that woman.

Asking for a  small deposit is not an unreasonable or uncommon request with new clients. What you are calling a scam is not one.

We (ladies) have a VERY high ratio of no - shows from new clients. If you don't like this ladies policy you are free to choose someone else but posting it here as a "scam" is absurd .... especially since she made it clear that she was ONLY asking for a minimum deposit to ensure your sincerity in following through on the appointment. Given your reaction .... I can see why she asked for a deposit in the first place.

ps. I also have this "deposit for new clients policy" if I think a new client may not be dependable. It is explained right on my website .... and I have been established in this business and on Lyla for over 10 years.

For myself it is determined on a case by case basis depending on my initial communication with the potential client.

In fact many businesses adult or not ... require a deposit from new clients due to no/shows and last minute cancellations.

If you really want to see this lady and are not comfortable with a deposit... try asking her if she will accept a reference from an established provider you have seen recently. This is also commonly done and most sp's will have no problem providing a reference but it is good etiquette to ask the ladies permission first before giving her info to the new sp.

Here is a thread explaining how references are done

Hi Bonnie, thank you for your insight.

I suggest in the future reading the topic before jumping to conclusions.

This individual is posting ads in multiple cities at the same time, with images they have stole off an instagram account that is not their own.  This is not just simply a "deposit = scam" post.

Happy Canada Day

She's not wrong as the only "scam" mentioned by the OP was the deposit request.

He never posted any evidence of wrong doing, no shows or fraud. The issue of the fake pictures were not raised by him and it's unclear if anyone actually posted a recommendation.

With such a vague warning, the topic does seem to be more about the deposit than anything else.

My apologies. I did not catch that she was posting in multiple cities. I am really sorry that she is doing this . It is unfair to clients and makes implementing genuine policies very much harder for legit sp's.

If I make a mistake I am the first to admit it and I sincerely apologize for not reading thoroughly.

Wishing you the best for your future encounters and Happy Canada Day !!

Ok people. I understand all your concerns about doing reverse searches and all your replies about if you did this or you did that.

Bottom Line is Someone Posted a recommendation and because it was on Lyla someone might of actually sent the money because of the recommendation. It was almost a week before I was able to actually text. So no I don’t know who the person was and I couldn’t find the topic. All I am saying to you people here in Thunder Bay is don’t send money unless

1. She is your regular lady.

2. You have seen her many time.

3. You have an arrangement already in place.

It must’ve of been deleted. I know I couldn’t find it again. I’m not here enough to actually remember what is where.

I never mentioned a name I posted a picture of the text and the reply. I am not confusing who ever you think it is. As you can see the phone number is posted. I do not know who those people you mentioned are.

IDK where you got your information from. If you look at my post there is no mention of someone’s name and I posted the entire phone number. It’s me saying that someone on Lyla posted the number and reco it. Basically even a recommendation can lead to a scammer. That’s it no people names or handles or anything else you assumed.

The bigger question is if yourself or anyone you know actually got scammed?

This is important.  Scam, Recommendation are key words on this forum and should be used appropriately.

Consider phrasing not as a scam:

I contacted a lady [details here] who seems to have no posting history on the number provided, who has no presence on a recommendation board, nor an online regular presence, with pictures i can't be sure of (still current, verified etc.), and when i contacted her she asked for a small deposit, and offered services uncommon to most providers.  I am hesitant to continue, and am pretty sure it won't work out the way i want, but i am really interested in exploring someone new with those services.  Can anyone confirm that this ad is legit?"

And as for reco, this area of the board has consistent posters in the general discussion as to a lady being real, or a good visit.  Many of us here take that to be as good as it gets for a reco.  Few official recommendations are posted, as most ladies that we do find are not posting with regularly available information, so they become less useful day to day.

But again, when the time is taken to make/post a recommendation in the appropriate area, that should not be taken lightly.  The moderators don't allow recommendations to be posted by new unverified users.

The recommendation area was a key point why i enrolled in cerb in the early days so lets treat it with care when discussing.

First, There no evidence of anyone recommending that provider. And if that reco was in fact deleted, was it because of questionnable activities, a complaint or simply because it was from a moderated user?

Second, The "scam" aspect seem to be uniquely based on an unwritten TB rule about deposit equal scam. The OP never mentions the fake pics or anything else that could be seen as questionnable. And there's no evidence of anyone victim of a no show/no refund from that lady.

And finally. this thread is the perfect example on how not to post a warning. Wrong forum, questionnable logic of what a scam is and not even clear if any wrong doing was done at all.

Hopefully this will serve as a learning tool.

You have a wonderful opinion. To bad you feel you have to always be corrected. My post is only a warning to be careful about what recommendations are made. If you take someone’s recommendation (for example yours) and it was incorrect I would do what I could to let you know what happened and wait for a reply. Now if you disappear and I’m unable to find the post or poster I’m going to to label it as a scam and allow people to make there own decisions on what they want to do.

Yea I know you’re gonna correct this post and put in your opinion.
