Things that suck, and not in a good way.

Sucks that I was not able to bring my Boat to the lake this weekend! When the weather forecast looks amazing! Ugh!

We'll just have to have bacon sandwiches and look at the boat.....

I have a "normal" part time job, over escorting.

Someone just told me today since I am a woman, I should be making less than my male coworker who have the same experience.

I am infuriated. Fucking angry.

Asshat.

I was taught in school that the most abundant element on earth is oxygen. I now know that was wrong.

Asshattery is the most abundant element.

When you meet someone skilled in the art of being an asshat, do not discuss, debate, or disputate with them. It is a stupid exercise and they have the advantage of having much more experience being stupid that you.

However, should you see said person unknowingly about to step into an empty elevator shaft, you are allowed a moment's silence. And a smile.

Then how come they haven't fired this male co-worker and replaced him with the just-as-good-but-more-affordable female employee? Sends these overpriced bums back home to take care of the kids.

(Irrational arguments make great double-edged weapons)

Spending an hour at my Dad's grave site this morning, wishing he was still here, he was so sick and his death was so tragic.

I know it's just a plot and he's not there but I get that alone time to just speak freely and open in hopes that he is listening and is proud of all of my educational accomplishment, my two businesses and most of all who I am as a Mom.

I know and feel that he is watching over me but it still sucks that I don't have him and miss him everyday.

Miss you Dad!

Additional comments:

It was nice and good for me to share my feelings and this community is a safe place to do so. Thank you to all who have messaged with kind words and support and my heart and prayers go out to anyone else who is feeling the effects of losing a Dad on this day. One day at a time and just writing has lifted my spirits.

Huge Warm Hugs,

Lexy

Half the time I sit down to answer my emails, I feel overwhelmingly tired and I don't end up answering any/it's hard to think of what to write

Today I'm trying to get some stuff done on the computer and... I don't know if I drank too much coffee... but I keep having to get up from the computer to dance. And I'm still not very productive.

I have a problem. Not sure how to fix it. I was bit by the jitterbug. How on earth will I ever get to all those emails if I can't stop dancing?

Cripes.

I can't answer emails in SILENCE, either. That just feels wrong.

Went to sleep watching a movie on the couch.... and woke up three hours later in excruciating pain. I am not sure, but I do believe that at some point during the 3 hours of sleep, a demon came into my home and tried to forcibly push my right shoulder through my neck.

It was the first time my physio-advisor felt my shoulder/neck and said, "Holy shit."

Been there, done that, bought the tee-shirt. I have chronic shoulder and neck problems. I used to see a great RMT on a weekly basis. Since re-entering the 9-5 work force, our schedules no longer line up. I really miss her. I hope to be able to look over my shoulder again some day.

Some free advice, for what it's worth ($0.00), for OD, get a recliner. If you fall asleep watching Beaches again, at least your head and neck will have better support.

Traffic really blows.... So much happier that Ottawa's traffic is nothing compared to Toronto's

Bah,...I remember living and working there and clients would HAVE to book appts a day or longer in advance just to plan to travel across the city and get back to the office or home before rush hour. I will not miss the traffic there!

Hearing and feeling the hurt in my friends heart. All I can do is just be there and lend my ear and shoulder for her right now and provide many hugs and my love and support.

People who find it acceptable to cut the grass at 8am on a Saturday not to mention the fact that he really needs to get a tune up!

I was just about to book with a new lady and she emailed to tell that her father had just passed away. Even if I don't know her yet, I feel very sorry and share her grief. Our encounter will be very special.

Damn universal remotes! T.V. is stuck on mute while other system says mute is off. And I'm sure once I fix it, I will be blown away from the surround sound.lol.
