Corona Virus : Covid 19

Recommended Posts

What are people thinking about the potential adverse effect of Covid 19 on our hobbiest industry. Certainly the industry will be adversely affected and given the potential lethality are people starting to avoid our ladies for fear of contracting this virus ? The stock markets have certainly been "infected". While I cannot personally eliminate the risk , I likely will try to reduce my "exposure" at least for the short term. Or , am I over reacting ? Thoughts ?

Other than maybe avoid Asian establishments advertising "new arrivals", I wouldn't worry about it. But as those places are often a front for human trafficking, I wouldn't recommend in the first place.

Also, would maybe avoid trips to Thailand and sex tourism in that area for the next months.

But until we reach the level of cases and hysteria currently seen in Asia and Europe, I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Or keep an eye on when ad was posted and only go to the SP if they have been here for more than 14 days. If they open the door and sneeze, RUN.

As getting basic honest information from those establishments is nearly impossible, don't expect they'll show you passports, legal work visas and recent health documents.

Stick with well reviewed/recommended ladies and places and you should be fine.

So Covid 19 is now in NB. With the schools shutting down and seeing what is happening in the workplace with travelling restrictions and all the sports leagues suspending their seasons I wonder what our ladies are doing to protect. themselves. "Social " distancing works poorly in the hobby industry...LOL😁😎 . Will our ladies shut down the shop ? And do our hobbyists continue to shop in this environment. There is so much uncertainty !!

Okay so I'm going to chime in here and let everybody know what protocols I have in place.

First off self-monitoring is extremely important, I have no symptoms of any kind of even a sniffle a cough or fatigue. So with that being said I feel I am safe to move forward , but what am I doing to protect myself?

When you enter my home I automatically will be offering you hand sanitizer and I will do the same. Before we move into the massage room or the bedroom a shower and hand washing and mouthwash is as to be used for the two of us. And of course that practice is used again when leaving.

I have taken some options off of my menu. Such as kissing.

In between every appointment my whole shower bathroom door knobs massage table is always wiped off with sanitizers that has always been my practice anyway.

I also will be asking everybody who wants to visit if they are showing any signs of symptoms at all and if so please do not book your appointment.

And with all of this being said I want you to know how important it is to pre-book an advance so that us ladies do have time to make sure our incall is cleaned properly in between each visit. To properly clean in between every appointment it should take at least 45 minutes to an hour. Prebook in advance so that nobody is being rushed.

At this point New Brunswick there was one confirmed case, until I feel it is becoming more of an issue I will remain open and move forward cautiously.

If you have a compromised immune system, are elderly, are you are directly caring for an elderly person I highly suggest that you do wait and see what happens with this virus first.

Please keep in mind many providers may be feeling very pressured and nervous right now. So I highly encourage for any of you wonderful patrons out there that truly care about your companions a gratuity tip or pre-paying on a booking for another date would be very very much appreciated. We are self-employed people therefore any of the government advantages do not apply for us such a sick EI

And on a side note, I have noticed and other boards and on Twitter some individuals are trying to use this as an excuse to haggle down prices. I'm very lucky fortunate that my patrons would not stoop to that low-level. Please do not do this. We are humans just trying to pay our bills and get through our lives the best we can considering our cities are shutting down.

So until further notice and business-as-usual here. I will always do my best to keep hygiene my top priority in my business always.

And on a completely different note, I am so surprised when uncurable throat gonorrhea was reported and syphilis outbreak in Halifax was reported that it didn't seem to stop the fluctuation of inquiries about bare services? When do you think you'll be more concerned over and incurable throat gonorrhea or syphilis than a flu??? I am just noticing the extreme irony on this one LOL😛

Good luck and Respectfully yours Sophia❤

Well that changed quickly, I will be suspending my services and play it by ear for the time being. I will announce when I will resume my normal booking schedule.

I am healthy and well however I'm starting to slowly see people not feeling well and showing symptoms. Whereas a lot of my clientele does travel through Canada I feel that the risk is higher than I first anticipated. I would rather be in self isolation and healthy than self isolation and sick.

For anybody that is not feeling well please be sure to monitor your symptoms and dial 811 ( NB ONLY) if you are not sure if your symptoms match  covid 19

Sophia is being exceptionally responsible. Follow her advice. Be sensitive to the concerns of our ladies . Better to be safe now for the relatively short period of time being asked so that we are all healthy and able to exuberantly return to our favourite hobby down the road . Keep safe and stay healthy.

I realized today how I almost had a close call. I had a scheduled appointment for today, thankfully his employer called him and told him that he was in direct contact with somebody who tested positive out west and was given orders to isolate. That's how easily I could have brought the virus into my home. Hopefully he does not become symptomatic and doesn't get a positive test result as well but better safe than sorry

I will be doing my part to stop the spread of this virus. I won’t be seeing any ladies for the foreseeable future. I encourage others to do the same.

Self-quarantine is not always necessary. It's up to each of us to do an honest risk assesment depending on where we live, what we do for a living, how we protect ourselves and who we could possibly infect if not careful.

As for me, I live in a downtown apartment building, my chances of exposure are certainly higher than someone in a suburb  or rural area. With enough food for two weeks, high speed internet and enough movies and porn for months, I don't think it's worth risking my health or anyone else's for the time being.

It's Spring break, let's just enjoy it.

:( my immune system hasn't been great for a few years now...I'm self employed &  work on customer's vehicles ...as of today I'm closing my business for 3 weeks...I just can't take the chance of getting sick. I watched the Boston News last nite (Sunday March 15) all restaurants have a max of 25 people & if caught exceeding 25 your license is pulled....take-out is fine...I'm not panicking but taking precautions as Our Great Front Line Health Care Workers will be stretched to the max in the next few weeks. We are a small population scattered compared 2 other places & I know this should help...everyone take care & talk 2 you later!!

With all the precautions that the government is taking i think it will make a huge difference in stopping the spread of the virus around new brunswick, i have a sister that work as a nurse and she said that the precautions might last a lot longer than two week everything might reopen around april but when in april that a other story.

With the Bank of Canada likely to echo the U.S. Federal Reserve but slashing interest rate to near zero, those of us with saving accounts(and TFSA's) are likely to lose a lot. Just hoping this will rebound and the chatter of Negative Interest Rates will remain just that.

Also, there already signs a majority of the airline industry will likely beg for bailouts before summer. Will be interesting to see if lessons will be learned since the 2008 Financial Crisis and if steps will be taken to avoid CEO's cashing those as bonuses.

I’m surprised at the number of ladies still offering services, they should follow the lead of so many people that are avoiding close contact.

Yup me too:/

this is one of the many reasons why I am very happy that I chose to pay taxes on my income years ago. Without paying taxes on my business I would not qualify for the crisis benefits and the mortgage pause that Canadians are entitled to during this pandemic.

Without being able to rely on these crisis benefits I would be in dire need. As most people I live a week by week with the money I make therefore  my rainy day fund is very small.

Honestly some people don’t understand that some ladies were not financially in the position to just stop working. As the ladies who do this full time are struggling the worst. Not everyone has rainy day finds of sufficient savings to just stop working  I’m sure if they could afford it, me included, they would stop working. But unfortunately you never know someone’s position in life or their circumstances.
