OIC Social & Fundraiser - Friday April 17, 2020 in Ottawa!

We are excited to announce our next OIC Social & Fundraiser is happening Friday April 17, 2020! It's a casual social event for OIC members & clients to get together and mingle, and to raise money for The OIC Emergency Fund.

Tickets for the event are based on a Pay-What-You-Can model (PWYC), from $80-$250. All profits from the social will benefit The OIC Emergency Fund. This Fund supports members experiencing immediate financial hardship (food, shelter, medication, etc), and is our way of bolstering vulnerably members of our collective. Sex work is a tough business and some people just need a bit of extra support now and then, especially those who don't have anywhere else to turn. The Social/Fundraiser will be held at an upscale, fully private residential location in Westboro that is reserved just for us. We will have a cash bar for guests to buy drinks, and Capital Tease Burlesque will be performing up close and personal, throughout the evening.

Our Socials are always wonderful events with a friendly, casual atmosphere. This is our 5th such event, and every one is better than the last! Come on out to meet many of our beautiful members in one fantastic evening and help support a great cause! 💜

We have made the obvious, but regrettable, decision to cancel our social. Since the social was intended to be a fundraiser, we are still trying to continue to raise money for The OIC Emergency Fund. Covid-19 is hitting the sex work industry hard. It's only going to get worse from here and we don't know how long this is going to last, most are now saying it will be many months. We are on our own. If it's within your means, please support your favourite workers directly or donate to our Emergency Fund.
