Thanks to the wonderful @roamingguy who recently left a glowing recommendation for April Mcadams' online services lately. However it has got us thinking, what are the biggest reasons people don't purchase online options?

Please have a vote in our poll and leave any additional thoughts here.

Nothing (now😊)  My first experience was a Great Experience.  It's not IRL and once the COVID restrictions are safely lifted I will see companions IRL...in fact I have three dates lined up already, and it was a spur of the moment (I'd guess you'd say) decision to purchase online services (I was paying April in advance of our upcoming IRL date and perused her website at the time)  Like I've said the online services exceeded expectations

With that said, if you're thinking about trying online services well there is one lady I can recommend (oh I already did) but if you'd like to try another lady's online services contact her, you just might be pleasantly surprised.  I was and still am

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to look at the Virtual Services package I received.  It almost makes Social Isolation a fun thing

A Happy Rambling

Providers and customers need to do what they need to do. Personally speaking.........I have zero interest.

Not really what floats my boat either. I'm pretty sure I'd end up spending more time regretting what might have been than enjoying what was available, so... I'm staying away from the online stuff.

   To echo the sentiment of many, it's hard to justify the use of those when access to nearly unlimited free porn. I can understand the appeal when there's a certain relationship between the two. But for normal relief, there's plenty of inspirational material available.

I have a few reason not to go for the online services.  First and foremost I would have to pay by etransfer or credit card or some kind of trail that my wife could find and lead into more trouble at the end.

Second, like Greenteal said, there are so much free porn online (which is what I'm using now for self gratification) and the choice is there.  Sorry to the ladies that are offering this service, I'm a firm believer in what you are doing is good but this brings me to my third reason.

Reason # 3, when I seek romance or kink I want to be with a female partner that I can interact with, I want to touch, feel, taste, hear, smell, see her and I also want it to be mutual so she can have the same with me.

Just a quick couple thoughts here, and no, not trying to convert anyone or anything, just a quick couple thoughts thats all

First if I was asked on Friday, I would have been in the school of "it doesn't float my boat"  It really wasn't something that interested me at the time, never gave it a thought.  It was a spur of the moment decision on Saturday while paying the second installment on a upcoming date (once covid restrictions lifted) to try virtual services offered by this lady.

Yes I am paying for a virtual service.  But besides getting something in return for what I am paying, it may also benefit the companion when she can't meet clients IRL. This allows her another way to get some income.  True it's not IRL companionship, and virtual services don't replace IRL but then again IRL isn't readily available now nor will it be for quite awhile I'm guessing

Anticipation...I got to "meet" a lady I've never met before.  Anticipation helps the days go by, makes social isolation tolerable...I think some more anticipation with some ladies I have met and will see again are in my future.

Now once the covid restrictions are lifted, well I already have three IRL dates to schedule.  Online services I'm using now (well just tried for the first time now) because seeing a companion in person now just isn't possible and it's a way to both give/get back (guess best way to phrase it) to both companions/clients.  I'm certainly not preaching from the pulpit, just saying thats why I'm glad I tried it, and I'll try it again...and I know with whom

A Online Rambling

Echoing other guys' thoughts.

1. Paying by etransfer or cc could get me busted.

2. Unless it is a girl I know already, I may as well watch porn.

I'm sure it's fun, just not what I need.

Primarily, the lack of a truly discrete payment method!  There is just no way to send payment without some risk of a partner finding the transaction at some point.

I don't want to be the devils advocate but here is another thing that scares the hell out of me.  You pay for a service, this time its a show on the internet, how do you know that you are the only one watching it?  I'm sure you must pay ahead of time to see the show, so what are you really getting?  When booking with a lady to see in person if you get a bad service or a B&S there are things that you can do to protect yourself but not on the internet.

Just saying...

1. There is no such thing as "free porn", only stolen content from exploited creators/performers;

2.  Saying there is no point of buying content from your providers because of stolen porn is the equivalent of saying "why pay for companionship when there is Tinder";

3. Some of you care, and booking our virtual package is a way to encourage us. If you don't care, and that's fine also. I would simply be a bit embarrassed to admit that on a public forum though, where we providers, can see your comments;

4. Some of you in this thread who are not interested in buying content  sure had no problems sending me unsolicited DM's over YEARS with carrot dangling bookings in the hope to get free attention. If you don't see value in it, why seek it? I mean, do I really have to walk you through the irony here?

5. Finally, thanks for the fear mongering regarding the risks of connecting with provider online: WE ARE NOT TRYING TO SCAM YOU, WE ARE STRUGGLING AND ARE JUST TRYING TO MAKE A GODDAMN LIVING!!!!!  So, just like when you are booking a live date with a provider, DO YOUR HOMEWORK.

      While I agree there some unfairly distributed stolen and illegal content online, most of it is paid for by ad revenue from websites in similar ways YouTube operates. And while some aspects of the industry have been sketchy, a lot of content gets copyright claimed when not posted by the original creators and those websites clean themselves. Not all porn is stolen and most of us are more than satisfied with the legal available samples.

     Nobody's calling you or anyone else a scammer. Paying for virtual play time and actual companionship are two different thing and not all are ready for that transition. To each are reasons to wait it out. No matter what we do for a living, most of us are in similar situations.

    Have a nice weekend.

For those who didn't want to leave paper trail, there are always pre-paid Credit Cards at Walmart you could pay cash for. Reason I know is some clients of mine have done this

You do understand that right now alot of us arent offering companionship due to the virus so we offer on line shows to make due...of course seeing someone in person is better but that may not be an option for some right now!

And yeah you can watch porn on line for free but why not show some suport to someone on Lyla?

Anyways....

    My point was simply about the differences between online and real-life services. Far from a jab at providers offering virtual options.

    The topic is about why many won't buy those services and I gave my answer.

Yeah. This. If I was interested in online services, paying for it would be an issue. I know cryptocurrencies exist, but I'm not entirely convinced by them either.

Thanks for that - I wasn't aware of it. Although that does mean the provider has to be able to take credit card payments, which isn't always the case.

Sadly places like OF do not accept Pre-paid CCs. I have heard of lots of men experiencing declines messages.

This is yet another reason I created my own site to manage payments. So that anonymous billing was available.

I have heard of guys buying amazon GCs or very discretely and by trusted clients only, using PayPal as you can use pre-paid CCs for those.

Another option for payment for providers, while not anonymous in the least, is "Square" .  It allows anyone with a smartphone/tablet and a bank account to accept credit cards for a very small fee, and also debit cards (if you buy their upgraded reader).

Charges appear as whatever you name your account, so it can be "Book Seller" if you want.

  Correct me if I'm wrong, But this only works if you meet someone in person. And the topic is about online services.

Consider yourself corrected!

You can send out a link to someone to pay for a service via CC (or prepaid CC), or take their info and input it manually.

But to use the debit. Then yes you would need to be in person.

  Ok, but just not sure why this would be safer. Would rather use PayPal to avoid sending my information.

Didn't say it was safer, just a different option to use for payments.

Personally I'd rather not have a third party (PayPal) tracking my spending, if I can go get a prepaid visa card, and give that to a provider over a link from Square.

Unless of course you have a semi-anonymous PayPal account, using a throwaway secure email account, while connected on an anonymous VPN, and input the prepaid CC into your PayPal account and send the payment to the provider.

That is how I make paypal payments for my adult stuff. It is discrete but totally throw away info. It is only to make payments though, not accept money. For that, I transfer through two other PP account before finally accepting to my account that is bank linked.

Square works with many online platforms. A lady can set up a website with shopping cart features like wordpress with woo commerce and then link a Square plugin and payment will run through their site and billed to whatever name you create for that company. You can create many different companies as well with one square account.

All done online and not needing to be in person.

@Jessica Rain

They just added a new feature thats pretty great as well.  Sending out a "Checkout Link" for a specific amount.

It's a little clunky the first time you use it, but after that its pretty easy.
