Alternative names for Companions?

We had a great discussion recently on alternative names for Clients. So, what's your favourite name for a Companion? Take part in our poll and feel free to add your own in the comments 😘

    The name will often change depending if talking to someone sharing similar interests or not. Companion or any variant of friend is also acceptable.

I selected the term 'Companios' as that is what I had agreed to pay for. Many times, I've let a lady know while chatting with them prior to our 'session'  that they could ask me to leave and I would do so happily:  chemistry is important and respected. Hasn't happened yet and I hope it doesn't, lol - but I absolutely would comply.

I also like the tern 'sex worker' as there's no ambiguity in what's being contracted. I think that clear, consistent communication is respectful and important. Communication: the source and solution to all of our interpersonal problems.

I have chosen companion as it seems to fit my thoughts best. However I also use “Provider” frequently and also simply “Friend”. I have had to be specific about the word friend specially since she has been to my house in the past and of course good neighbours questioned me about my “ girlfriend” . I don’t the term girlfriend applies in this case as I perceived that kind of relationship very differently . But friend or “good friend” I find quite acceptable.

Some terms I refuse to use in reference to her as I do not view her as such when it comes to the kind of relationship we have. Terms like whore, slut or prostitute do not even enter my mind. I think they are mysoginistic and demeaning although many find them acceptable.

As for “professional girlfriend“! Really??!! I did not think that being a girlfriend could be a profession!!!

My bottom line is this. The term companion  and friend are what I prefer but I am also comfortable with provider. I would never use a term that may be belittling or demeaning in its meaning. I have too much respect and appreciation for her to think of her as anything but a companion and friend!

I use the term provider or escort as this reflects a broader perspective in the services we provide out there. I have been in this industry for a long time now but just to clarify and I'm sure many of you know this but back in the day during the 70"s and 80's the term was "Call Girl". Now many may disagree with me but I'm old school girl and this term definitely fits me as escorts back then did exactly what we do today  only the term had changed. That's my opinion anyway. I like the term "Companion" - for me, sex worker or escort some how seem stereotypical (no offence intended) - I suspect that society in general has made those two terms seem somehow negative.  The term companion to me is a broader description which make me think of friendship, good company etc. 

My two cents worth.
