Facebook Group to Share Details (No Censorship!)

Recommended Posts

image.png.7b500803277b103aeb479e7649bc2815.png

So today I received a message from this guy offering to join the FB page where they are planning to share SP's details with no censorship. Although I'm not a regular hobbyist but I love the ones I meet. Would really request the guys who are planning to be part of this to think twice before sharing any sensitive details. There is a reason why it's not allowed in lyla itself.

This is exactly the kind of BS we don't want here. Thanks for flagging.

You can also report that kind of pm by clicking "Report Reply" on the top right corner of the message.

Not trying to stir any controversy, this is a legit question.

I can understand lots of people might not like what he was trying to organize, but what Lyla rule(s) did he violate? I don't think he was trying to profit from a facebook group, he didn't even post publicly. Like I said, I can understand if you oppose what he was up to, but just unsure how running afoul of public opinion turned into a ban within 30 minutes, can't think that left any time to even get his side before the ban. Maybe I'm mis-understanding the timing of events.

Given the current cancel culture climate, I'm a little scared that if we say something that others don't agree with (apparently even in private) it'll be a swift ban without any sort of recourse.

P.S. I was not messaged by this guy and have no knowledge of his endeavor beyond what we're all reading. *EDIT* Full disclosure, I double checked and this guy DID message me in the past with a general question, which I replied to. Nothing related to his facebook plan though.

The PM system abuse is one big obvious reason. Also, there's a big difference between asking a random question in a conversation and just open with an invitation to work around the board's rules.

I also question the creation of a Facebook group when there already review boards that not only allow uncensored comments/reviews, but are publicly visible to all! Not gonna say which one(and don't ask in pm), but it's not hard to find.

The simple positive recommendation system is there to protect both ladies and clients. If someone can't understand that and requires graphic descriptions of services, he's more than welcomed to go elsewhere and dig his own grave.

And the fact that this person shows immediate signs of breaking trust. Lyla is here to support and protect the SEX WORKERS, not the clients. Sorry, but thats the truth.

Before this goes any further my post was a FYI for everyone here. I never intended to get the person banned or anything (although I do support the decision).

Like I said earlier, I respect and love the girls I meet & I totally understand the need of not sharing sensitive details with anyone.

I agree. But not allowing discussions about sexual services, also protects clients. Something too many here don't seem to understand. Due to currents laws, the purchase of sexual services is illegal. Reason why subtle terms like "companionship" are recommended. What's done in private, should remain that way.

And if someone insists on publicly admitting he broke criminal laws, he's more than welcomed to do it on forums that allow him the freedom to do so.

As someone who has had my location, details of the inside of my apartment, and a list of services that I didn't offer - circulated behind my back-- I appreciate lyla looking out for us! ❤️

I only found out that this was even a practice when a stranger booked me, then showed up to my incall and described my apartment to me, before having seen it, along with some services that his friend bragged that he got..

But I never offered those services, to anyone 😕

Its a huge safety concern, to say the least, and fake info sharing is one of the scarier parts of the industry I've encountered

Maybe it's hard to fathom as a client why sharing Sp's info on an unmoderated site would be a bad idea, but I can definitely see how things could go awry, and am super uncomfortable with the fact that people from Lyla may take info from here to FACEBOOK 😳

Of all places, Facebook?!?

I don't even use Facebook because of its discretion problems, and certainly wouldn't log in from a phone I use for escort things..

Way to be discrete smh

It's one thing to answer questions from members via pm here on lyla, but to go to Facebook?

Gross

He should have just joined us all on Twitter where we can chat as openly as we like lol More discretion, more fun, more boobs.. #Winning 😁

So do rules apply to PM's too? Because im told thats where you are able to ask the questions you really want to know. If full discretion of sessions is what you want than its already too late, as greenteal says theres other sites that dont mind people sharing that info. I personally am only here to get info because if im paying for someones time than I want it to be a guarenteed good time.

Before the rules were trimmed and simplified, there were a few on that subject.

The two most important were to not abuse the PM system with illegal discussions and not publicly advertise negative or private information if contacted by PM.

Even if those rules are no longer present in written form, the basic rules should apply to all private communications. The "Report reply" is there for that reason and also to flag unwanted solicitation and spam.

I received a PM from this guy a couple months back and completely ignored it . Don’t know why he’s still PMing people - why do we need no censorship ?

The rules are not about censorship, but about respecting the Canadian Criminal Code and the safety of all members.

People who think they can disclose anything under the cover of anonymity with a fake, name, fake email and the "protection" of a VPN service are fools. Law enforcement won't track someone who simply admitted receiving sexual services. But if that person becomes linked to the victim of a major crime, he will be found, interrogated and his online activities will be scrutinized.

And the irony is that most of that "uncensored" information is meaningless if there no chemistry between client and provider. A lot of unnecessary risks for a whole lot of nothing.

Im pretty sure this is against fb policy as well and would hope it gets shut down. About a year ago i remember fetish and burlesque groups being targetted and shut down i believe shortly after FOSTA-SESTA reeked its havoc.

I can bet a few reports would take care of it.

Also are these guys not capable of assessing SW for themselves?

They do realize quality in this work is subjective?

Don’t worry. I don’t think anyone thinks you did this for a malicious reason.

You did a good job. You protected the women here.

These types of “groups” usually share things like BBFS services, drugs use, etc.

So I say let them have their group so we don’t have to have anything to do with it. But don’t abuse our system to poach members.

It is a general common knowledge rule for any platform. You don’t poach. Period.

What rules did they break? Irrelevant. Lyla is a privately owned site and can ban or allow whoever they choose to for whatever reason they decide. (Even if the reason is simply for being creepy.)

Does the mentioned page have a right to exist? That's between them and Facebook.

Do they have a right advertise directly to the clients here, even though they are going against everything that this site has ever stood for? No. No they do not. Not if the mods don't want them here.  Plain and simple.

I only used the word "private" in the context of the fact that it is a business.  Not a government organization.  (Opposite of public). Not quite sure what you meant by your rant but my only point was that the owners of this site can do whatever they choose to because they own it. Nobody has a right to be here.
