Restrictions from Covid

Recommended Posts

I think it all depends on the amount of  the b1 variant we get. If we can keep levels of that down and more and more people get vaccines then they will keep businesses going.

RMT's have been vaccinated  according to the lady I see but that certainly doesn't cover other providers we see.

My RMT is also vaccinated.

Does anyone know if MPs are included with RMTs and also can get vaccinated?

They should be!

Please remember there are significant differences between RMT's and MP's

My dementia keeps kicking in.

Please explain the differences when it comes to getting the vaccine.

One's a regulated health professional and the other an independent provider with mixed credentials.

Health professionals are prioritized.

The vaccine is open to all.

if a MP wanted a vaccine all they have to do is show up with a passport and say they are a RMT.

The clinics are set up to Inoculate as many people as possible as quickly as possible.

They are not micromanaged.

You don’t even need a Manitoba health card.

If they wanted a vaccine and they’re willing to stretch the truth. They would have no trouble getting it.

Lying about one's occupation brings more problems than benefits.

If the vaccine is open to all, why ask the question in the first place?

I don’t care if they lie to get vaccinated.

I asked because wanted to know if any MPs have been Inoculated.

I already know of one.

Your comment was "Does anyone know if MPs are included with RMTs and also can get vaccinated?"

MP's are not included with RMT's because they are different professions, therefore do not fall under the same category for vaccinations.

I just noticed this was Winnipeg, but true everywhere:  dont forget that 1 dose gives about 80-85% protection.   In other words, still 15-20% risk of getting it.... but likely not as severe, i.e. no hospitalization.... (not so sure about transmission rate after 1 dose).

Note: I am not teling people what to do..... just stating facts that tend to be forgotten.  Wink!
