An Interview With Darcy - Myths and Misconceptions About šŸ±

Recommended Posts

Guest lydiahardwood

Happy Sunday everybody! So, how many of us know the difference between a vulva and a vagina? Thanks to Darcy for setting the records straight. She's not on Lyla but you can find her on Twitter. Honestly, go follow her. Not only is she gorgeous and insightful, she also has a wicked humour and is a very well known Provider in Toronto, for many reasons! Enjoy and please do comment with any vulva myths/misconceptions you have come across. #PussyIsPower ā¤ļøĀ

Ā

Q: Hey Darcy! Thanks very much for agreeing to answer some questions for us. Iā€™m a big fan so itā€™s truly an honour. First things first - can you tell us about yourself?

A: A little bit about me... I'm only the hottest 43 year old escort in Toronto. I kid!Ā

Ā

Q: Awesome! Youā€™re a pretty well known figure in the industry (pun intended), almost 20k Twitter followers before the Twitter police took you down! Have you been doing this for a while?

A: Ā I've been in the biz for about 5 years. Always been an Indy provider. And my personality may be even BIGGER than my titties! My first call ever was on July 17th 2016. Sadly I lost my massive following when twitter banned my account over a profile picture that showed my cute little booty in a thong.

Ā

Q: So sorry you lost that account. Iā€™m sure the following will come flooding back! 5 years is quite a while, I can imagine your knowledge on the industry is pretty impressive. But also I guess you know your own body pretty well?

A: Being a woman who is almost in her mid-forties I would like to believe that I've had a chance to explore and get very familiar with my own body. I know what makes me feel good and what doesn't and men need to listen more to what we want instead of taking all their cues from porn and just aggressively stuffing things in US and thinking it's giving us extreme pleasure.

Ā

Q: So, misconceptions about vulvas. First of all - terminology! I imagine thereā€™s at least a couple people scratching their heads at even the word ā€œvulvaā€. So, what is a vulva?

A: The vulva is the totally unsexy and medically correct term for the outer part of our pussies. Many men don't know this word because it's not sexy and we don't use it when dirty talking. It's almost as unknown as the word areola! The Vulva includes both sets of lips, and the clitoris as well as the opening!

Ā

Q: About time we start referring to the whole thing as a vulva, not a vagina, because a vagina isā€¦

A: The Vagina is just the inside! It's that lovely canal that you men stuff your junk into. It's also where babies but NOT pee comes from. Pee has its own hole entirely!

Ā

Q: Another misconception: that more sex = a looser vagina. Thoughts?

A: As far as the myth about having lots of sex and getting a loose vagina goes I only have one thing to say... We fucking deliver babies out of these things and they bounced back into shape. Sure your pussy may get bigger after taking a big dick but trust me she tightens right back up almost immediately.Ā

Yes you can work and train your vagina to expand and take more than one dick if that's your thing but generally they don't get looser just from having sex. This is almost as silly as the myth about girls with big labias being huge sluts. Having big labias is something you're born with not something you got because your pussy took a few too many pounding.Ā

Same goes for colouring. Some girls have bright pink pussies some girls are more on the grey side and then there's a whole Myriad of colours in between. We need to stop shaming girls about what their kitty cats look like and just love all shapes sizes and varieties that are out there.

Ā

Q: It literally widens the more turned on you get so likeā€¦ itā€™s a good thing, guys. Okay, another myth: squirting is pee. Now I know youā€™re pretty experienced in this area lol. Tell me your thoughts?

A: So the age-old squirting debate... it's not pee.Ā

Now that's not to say there can't be some pee mixed in with it but trust me nobody can pee that much. I've literally had to flip mattresses because I have completely soaked through them. I'm a small girl my bladder doesn't hold that much. Squirting is something that more women could probably do if they just relaxed enough.Ā

The crazy part is it does feel like you're going to pee yourself and you do have to push a bit... but trust me when it happens you will know that you're not peeing. Peeing has Never Felt This Good.

Ā

Q: Another one - if someoneā€™s ā€œwetā€ it means theyā€™re turned on. True or false?

A: As far as being wet meaning you are turned on that's not a hundred percent accurate.Ā

Vaginas don't just lubricate themselves every time something sexy happens. They lubricate themselves in order to clean themselves as well. Believe it or not boys, our vaginas have more purpose than just being something that you can shove your fingers and dicks into.Ā

But what I will tell you is that where sex is concerned there should always be a wet vagina. If you boys are trying to shove a hard dick in a dry vagina then you are doing your lady a disservice. But rather than just using a wet or dry vagina as a cue my advice would be just to communicate with your partner or lover because they will be able to let you know what works for them.

Ā

Q: Iā€™m writing these questions in May, which is Masturbation Month, so Iā€™ve gotta include one on that topic! Does masturbation and using toys really desensitise your clit?

A: Unfortunately I missed the masturbationĀ deadlines and it's now June. Using sex toys does NOT desensitize our clit. I mean that's RIDICULOUS! There's more nerve endings in that little sucker than there is in an entire penis.Ā

Guys are constantly beating their dicks and they still have oodles of sensation. If you could just kill the clit by masturbating then tribes wouldn't still be cutting off girls clitorises to make sure they didn't enjoy sex! Now I'll be honest and say that after a good bean flicking session my poor little clit is numb and hot to the touch but give her 30 minutes and she's fine!

Ā

Q: Shall we talk G spot? I know this is a topic thatā€™s pretty under researched. But can you think of any misconceptions around this? I think one is that itā€™s really far in, but from what Iā€™ve read thatā€™s not the caseā€¦

A: The G spot... is something that is as elusive as an x on a treasure map for most men. They just shove their hand up there and startĀ fingering you and digging around there looking for it and quite honestly most of them don't have a fucking clue what they're doing and it doesn't feel good.Ā

Fuck the G-Spot and just listen to the lady that you're with and let her guide you instead of doing a scavenger hunt up in her vagina. It's not as far up or is curved back around as you all think. Plus every girl's vagina is a little bit different so if you think it's a one-size-fits-all treasure map type of thing it's not.Ā

Quite honestly men get way too preoccupied with trying to find this spot and trying to create the most earth-shattering orgasm that it just puts additional pressure on the woman and is completely counterintuitive to the entire process. I can't speak for most women but for me I wish that men would just enjoy the entire journey of sex instead of being so caught up inĀ everybody coming, ejaculating and finding all the spots. Just enjoy the damn journey.

Ā

Q: Well I certainly agree with that. What other misconceptions or myths have you heard about vulvas/vaginas?

A: So as far as other misconceptions about vaginas and vulvas... I discussed about the different color ranges. And know your vagina doesn't get darker the more sex you have. Pussies are like dicks. Not all dicks are the same colour. And I'm so tired men shaming women for having big labias. I was always self-conscious of mine growing up because I never saw my pussy represented in porno magazines. But we don't all have these cute little hot dog bun vaginas.

Ā

Q: Would you say that sex work has improved your knowledge on sex education/human biology? Anything that stands out?

A: I definitely think that sex work opens your eyes about human anatomy and sex education. I mean how can it not when you're constantly seeing a variety of different naked body shapes and sizes. And I'm the type of person who loves to learn so I can constantly reading up on sex related topics. Got to remain an expert in my field right?

Ā

Q: Thanks so much for your time, Darcy! I feel like Iā€™ve learnt a lot. Anything else youā€™d like to add?

A: Thank you so much for letting me shed some light on this topic and I hope you all enjoy.

Thank you Darcy for this fabulous and deeply informative interview. šŸ˜™

Someday if you decide to retire from championship, then please open an intimacy therapy clinic

a lot of souls will be sooo very benefited from your advice ( I am serious) šŸ’•

Ā

on a side note, although I don't have a vagina šŸ˜ but my sweet companion has taught me a few extremely vital things, such as:

  • faster clitoral massage &/or aggressive fingering is NOT = more pleasure for many women (no mater what porn shows)
  • many women prefer a teasing touch (like my lover) .. sometimes very slow & light (NOT the paint stripping action)
  • the key is to find a certain rhythm (for massaging or fingering or penetrating) that your lover likes šŸ’¦

thanks

Thanks, Darcy! Also, I was very amused at the idea of "doing a scavenger hunt up in her vagina"

Has Darcy considered join us here at Lyla?

I enjoyed her Instagram the short time I was there. My favorite part of this interview was discovering she is hilarious! ā¤ļø

She probably sticks to t.e.r.b. (lyla used to be cerb) bc -unless something has changed since I learned this-Ā pretty much no one from toronto is on this board so i would imagine theĀ # of potential clients for her to connect with here isĀ slim to none

An excellent point and am aware of the old branding. Could that change tho? Why the division?

To some extent, I think it's just always been that way. The *ERBs cater to the big cities. CERB and then Lyla catered to the rest of the country; it was quite Ottawa-centric for a while as Ottawa's the biggest city outside the big three, but the east coast has also always been strongly represented here. CAF seems to be the main board in the prairies.

As for changing it... well, it *could* change, but something needs to push that. The clients will follow the providers they're interested in, but the providers won't go where there's no clients to advertise to, so there's a classic chicken-and-egg thing going on there. This board has always tried to stake out some clear ground by being a positive environment (it has always been a recommendation board, not a review board). Unfortunately there does seem to be a prevailing opinion that all boards are shitholes, and if your introduction to boards was the ones where that's true... well, I can see why you'd have given up on boards entirely. The folks who run this board are making a serious and sustained effort to get the word out that this place is different - which is awesome - but it's an uphill battle.

One other thing that I think is relevant (at the risk of sounding old): boards in general seem to be more suitable for people who enjoy old-school, long-form communication, and enjoy a sense of community. But a lot of people don't want or need that; the brevity and immediacy of platforms like Twitter seems to be more and more popular with people these days.

Reviews are exactly where my mind went as for the division. As someone who has been trolled quite a bit in her lifeĀ I am far more comfortable here where it's more about recommendations and a sense of community ā¤ļø

I absolutely adore that this board is just as popular on the coast as it has inspired me to travel a little more. Have met some fantastic people doing so and hope things get safer for us all soon so I can return. Still have some foliage along that Cabot Trail to checkĀ out.

Darcy is a badass and reminds me of so many of my hilarious friends. It would certainly be a pleasure having her join us.

Have been considering a return to Twitter but am far more comfortable here with you all šŸ’‹šŸ’‹šŸ’‹

Thanks Darcy for sharing those detailsā€¦very helpful. I am a person who could be focusingĀ too much on her having an orgasm. I am goingĀ to try to just ā€˜enjoy the journeyā€™ more šŸ˜‰. Also not all guys like the ā€˜hot dog bunā€™ vulva (was I paying attention?) I much prefer the big labias. I would never have guessed you are in your mid40s ā€¦.wow! Thanks again,

Thank you !thankyou !thankyou!Ā for bringing up the subjectĀ of men thinking it gets looser the more our " vaginas" are Ā stretched ! Ā I was giggling to myself when reading this because I'm a "PSE" provider and Ā get pleasure fromĀ extreme stretching with large toys and also enjoy fisting. Ā I'm sure that myĀ clients will agree that even with the craziest amount of useĀ Ā it is muscle that needsĀ exerciseĀ to stay inĀ shape. Therefore theĀ fact is that the more use,Ā the stronger and tighter it will getĀ !!! So guess what gentleman your dicks are the best kegal toy ever created !!Ā True story !!! Who's ready for a Ā workout ?!? Thanks Darcy and Ā Lydia for another interesting interview ! Xo love it !

I wanted to add a reply to this earlier but I forgot! Lol.Ā  So here it is:Ā  first thanks to Darcy and Lydia!Ā

I must say that I am surprised that some of the misconceptions are indeedĀ  misconceptions..Ā

That said, there are same persistent myths, e.g., loose vagina,Ā Ā that need to be dispeÄŗled .

Also, the one about colour and size of labia: i can't believe that one of the fastestĀ growing plastic surgery is labia reduction!

Ā

Also great advice aboutĀ  "just enjoy the journey"

TBH, I think that's another thing we can blame porn for. AFAIK quite a lot of performers have had that sort of work done, and so everyone else starts feeling the pressure to conform to that norm. It's not helped by people who have done a lot more watching porn than getting naked with real people who are then shocked when real-life genitalia don't all look like the standard porn model.

Great interview. Lots of useful information and clarity on some tricky stuff. All told in a straightforward way with a touch of humour. Thanks Darcy and also to the interviewer. Come on Darcy, sign up on Lyla :)
