Just got back from an appointment with Rayne... all I can say is WOW!!!

She asked for a picture of my ID and a selfie with my ID in it to be sent to her email. That's for her screening process. That's a no from me.

This form of screening is fairly typical in my exp. with sw'ers...and honestly, I applaud those professionals who place their personal safety above the "comfort" of their potential clients. Same reason many ask for a small/token deposit via e-transfer...it's about verifying a name moreso than anything else. 

 

It's repeated often, but no less true, do your research and if you find a lady to be legitimate, adhering to their screening policies only ensures a better and more cohesive interaction once you finally arrange an opportunity to meet...my unsolicited two cents...🙏✌️

He shouldn't have to ask, anyone who is asking for something sensitive like that should be warning people when they ask, and telling them what to cover up. We like to talk professionalism in SW. That is basic professionalism.

Also, what you ask for is more than enough to commit identity fraud, i hope no one is stupid enough to send you that.

But asking for both kind of defeats that purpose...interact e-transfer already gives a name. The receiver, or the female, is the only one who can hide their last name. And you can't fake that, they had to use government ID when making the account, and cannot use a false name.

I can also take a picture next to my ID, and alter both faces and change the DOB and name with AI in about 10 seconds. And AI programs to test images for AI give tons of false positives. So using those images for safety was obsolete about 5 years ago, 2 years if you only count people using free AI LMs.

The only reason to require both is for scams and identity fraud.
