I thought this was a beaver

And then to confuse matters, a beaver that's a horseman (slang for RCMP-won't use the term mountie, that can bring up even more confusing connotations)

But being a horseman does that mean that it's a well hung beaver (as in hung like a horse)

Sorry, long day

My entire life, for as long as I can remember, DP was always Dr. Pepper. And then I hit high school and everyone thought I meant double penetration. I can assure you, I stopped saying things like, "man, I could go for some DP right now."

That's funny Berlin!

I don't think I could say "Let's all put on 'party hats'" with a straight face at a party any more -- certainly not with kids around.

Outside of the hobby, I don't think I could keep a straight face if a woman was introduced to me as "Trixie." I have a hard enough time with "Fanny" -- although if a woman as classy as Fanny Ardant has that name it can't be all bad. ;)

Finally I have a word to contribute that I think was not introduced previously. I am laughing as I write this because a short while ago I wrote a note in the highlights of the day thread saying about helping someone finish getting their winter wood inside.

An SP saw it and wrote me a note and used Wood as her subject heading. I knew what she was going to refer to but the subject heading brought the other meaning to mind. She is probably writing me now saying to get my mind out of the gutter. :)

So, I contribute Wood.

Actually banana cream pie has always been one of favorite desserts ever since I was a kid. It never occurred to me it could it could have a very different meaning until I started to read 'the boards' several years ago. I hope to have the former from time to time, but it is unlikely I will be having the latter in the foreseeable future.

In respect to the previous post I meant to write in my 'reputation comments' I meant to write: For me growing up in California in the sixties, a "woody" was a wood-panelled stationwagon. (I wasn't at all aware of the meaning the porn industry had given to "a woody." )

It happened at work today....

One of the bosses said she had a wedding to go to and she was going to get a "facial" on Friday. I snickered. I got the pissiest look ever.

And yet, most likely, she did not know why exactly you snickered at facial...

Much of what we do at the office is done to answer requests right here and right now... When I say it's just a quicky, they tend to smirk!

"I think maybe we should check under the hood" -- I had never really considered that a "hood" wasn't necessarily made of metal!

I recently wrote in the "Getting to Know you Better" thread the following.

I love trout fishing and can sit and watch my bobber not even move for hours and still be content.

I had a hilarious comment made on that. I guess I shall never look at a bobber in the same way again. But when I think of it, I LOVE watching a bobber in motion. :)

I always giggle a little to myself when I hear an advertisement referring to "hand-tossed" dough, or salad.

Before I found Cerb I always thought of Incall or Outcall as having to with a doctors visit, which I always tended to dread. Now whenever I think of those two terms I get almost giddy with excitement, lol.

There is a street sweeping company in Ottawa called CTM cleaning but the writing makes it look like CIM Cleaning... That would be quite the job!

When I go to a restaurant, the word "dinning" makes me smile - reminding me of one of my favorite activities, and it is not about food.

The "Y" reminds me of my favorite spot, and it is not YMCA,icon12.gif lol.
