What is for supper tonight?

Recommended Posts

I'd forgotten how hungry this thread makes me. Pasta with a rich, rustic tomato sauce.

Going out for supper tonight to a local St. John's Restaurant Bistro Sophia where if I am lucky they will have some fresh Halibut on the menu....

Tonight, I am making Chicken stuffed with Broc/Chedar, potatoes and bacon wrapped shrimp. This new healthy eating is a huge step for me.... but using the BBQ makes it fun!

Cuban style BBQ chicken!

Marinated in a mojito sauce, base is balsamic vinegar..

But then after BBQ I have a lemon based mojito sauce. Pour that over chicken after off BBQ.

All hand made, motor and pestle to make the paste of garlic, green herbs, onion, chilly peppers and coriander...

YUM YUM, I make this when I miss my Cuban friends:(

Don't worry not booking till Tuesday hahhaha...

We had barbequed ribs and potato salad. We were going to do something for Cinco de Mayo, but fact is, Fast Freddy and I are calendar challenged. So we did Detroit Cinco de Mayo.

Yes! Detroit has a Cinco de Mayo. Same way Canada has a Fourth of July.
