what is a gfe massage?

Recommended Posts

Hi, there is many interpretations of what a GFE Massage means... here is my description and perhaps some of the other ladies that offer this service can input.. During a GFE Massage there is more body contact, Body to body massage and really erotic body slides, also kissing is allowed but YMMV from just kissing, to LFK or DFK... It is a Massage so DATY or BJ of anykind are not part of the service... Hopes this helps you clarify :) Maybe you should come and try it byyourself to get the complete clear explanation :) hehe

ps: Dont feel sorry fro asking.. I actually was thinking about starting a thread on this subject ;)

I would like to add and define that a GFE massage is enthusiastic and non mechanical. It's about the tone of the session. It is not rushed and usually a slow sensual ride to a seamless and natural feeling ending. You feel cared about and pampered. These kind of encounters can lead to a great connection as well. ;)

Is GFE massage without Daty a commonly accepted interpretation or it varies from one masseuse to another?.

If DATY was to be offered then it would change the tyoe of service, then you are not an MA but rather an SP...

Daty should never be expected in a sensual massage experience. A GFE massage should be interpreted as a non mechanical encounter within a sensual setting. I suppose it may vary from one masseuse to another, but should not be expected as it ventures into the grey area between an MA and Sp. It's up to the lady and should remain private between two consenting adults.

While there are many providers who advertise a GFE - whether massage or full service - the only sessions I can honestly say I ever remember as such are the ones with characteristics as described above. There is something immersive and emotive about the best of these sessions. Leaving them, I feel fulfilled, but also lightheaded and dreamy, as though I was under a spell of some sort.

Sorry - but I find the use of 'GFE Massage' very misleading and very inaccurate.

'GFE' is an Escort Term created by Escorts for Escorting - which begets Oral (DATY, DATO and/or CBJ/BBBJ) and/or FS.

So to try and 're-define' the term and try to lure in Escort Hobbyists to get massages is, in my humble opinion, unfortunate and a major turn off for me. I don't tell people I shovel snow for a living and then show up to mow the lawn :S

I've never, NEVER, met a guy whom either did, or was looking, for a GF just to have massages with - and never have sex. :S NEVER. Makes no sense.

This is 1/2 the reason why the MA/MPs now have there own Area - so as Not to keep misleading Hobbyists (intentionally or mistakenly). Wasting time asking Questions to a MA in the SP section whom doesn't say she is a MA until after several emails. Lame. So un-attractive.

Maybe it's a 'GF Massage' some ladies offer, but as per the definition of GFE - it's way more than just a massage. This is even clearly outlined here in this Thread - real GFE services Not included in so-called 'GFE Massages'.

(Yeah, and you having snow on the lawn while I mow is Your mis-interpretation or my services right? Not mine?? ...as I now re-define snow as grass? :S )

GFE = girlfriend experience. Typically BBBJ, CFS, DFK, DATY, and MSOG

http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=1311&highlight=acronyms

A call girl advertising the provision of a "girlfriend experience" is implying that she provides deep french kissing (DFK), "full service" (intercourse) usually with protection, and fellatio and cunnilingus, both with or without protection. Advertising a "girlfriend experience" is sometimes used by call girls to promote business.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Girlfriend_experience

Like the others said, GFE=Girlfriend experience. In some situations, it also means that the prostitute/escort is willing to perform some services without condoms, akabarebacked, usually blowjobs(BBBJ).

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=gfe

There's even a movie called The Girlfriend Experience (with Sasha Grey - & FYI: She's No Masseuse! ;) )

Anyone got links showing where GFE has changed it's definition to Not included Oral/FS - and now has 2 meanings - 1 for MAs and 1 for SPs?? I look forward to seeing where this has changed, as I enjoy keeping up with the times :)

Food for thought! ;)

PS: Great Question Ironsman1 - Clarity over services is what CERB is all about :)

I am in total agreement with Mr.BCB...... I would say that most people think of GFE in terms of full service. You may come up with arguments that a gfe massage and a gfe escort services are at a different levels of what gfe constitues but as far as I`m concerned, it just confuses the matter and the expectations.

If I may add further to the term "GFE" in advertising. I'm of the opinion as well that the term has been saturated. However, to mislead a client to think otherwise is wrong. I don't think the massage area was separated from the SP area because of these advertisers claiming to be a GFE and with intentions to deceive. To put that thought out there is unfair to the providers that are honest and would not like being put in the same basket., I'm under the impression that with the commercial spa's and now paid advertising, it made it more simplified to separate the two areas.

I do not personally advertise a GFE massage, but the term is fair in regards to the provider being enthusiastic, caring and sensual. I think of the term in that way and as non mechanical. To define anything always has a grey area whether within an MA or SP encounter.

I think we will have to disagree a bit here. It is my opinion that a sensual massage should already include things like being enthusiastic, caring and sensual, or slower paced, and friendly etc. So using a term like GFE would not or should not indicate only that aspect because it seems to me that it is something 'extra' in FS sessions, so why not in MA sessions.

Here, I think most agree that if someone advertises a GFE massage session, it is because it includes everything in a GFE sp/FS session, but not the FS part. It is ideal for someone who can't for some reason perform intercourse, but still wants everything else. Like FS GFE, it is interpreted as at least kissing, and usually daty and the option of a bj (covered or not).

I wouldn't even say that it includes body slide activity, because that would also be something that a sensual massage provider would include.

You can still have the clear distinction between MA and SP, but I do think the term for GFE (I do agree it is over used) can be used with massage to indicate the standards of GFE that have always been associated with it: kissing, daty, bj.

I do agree Fortunateone. Body slides and eroticism are part of a sensual massage. The true art of erotic massage has been lost within these grey zones and should be made clear.

You a good point there but u said it "It should......," unfortunately nit all MAs feel the same way! Not all understand the concept of sensuality or not everyone would do bodyslides... I advertise as a GFE masseuse because i go that extra mile to make it a more enjoyable massage experience without being a FS session, or providing any other services such as daty or bj! I do offer GFE massage because while I massage i try to get to know the person i m with, to make it a unique experience, an experience that would make you feel you have known me for sometime now (even if it is our first time) experience a time where the gentleman and myself are together letting the sensuality and erotism take place, built intense moments that not necesarily mean we would end up having intercourse... Having sex of any kind (oral, vaginal, anal or what ever) does not mean fulfillment at all times!!! Or can you really tell me that everytime you have had sex you have been fulfilled?? I dont think so...

I agree with the term "GFE" and being misleading where MAs are concerned. When I hear the term "GFE", I think of escort services and a friendly attitude INCLUDING more intimate services ( DFK, DATY) that are appropriate to the term itself. So if this term is being used in the MA world, it can definitely cause confusion and MAs may feel pressured by some NOT all clients to perform extra services that only an SP would provide because once word gets out, then the expectations can be falsely set to a point where the majority of MAs would not be willing to offer SP type services.

IMO, I think the word "sensual" not GFE would completely sum up the type of service an MA is willing to offer that is not cold and Mechanical. The same with the term "PSE" used in massage advertising. "Erotic" seems to be an equivalent type of word for PSE. We have to remember that GFE and PSE are experiences and actions, not just attitude and often the lines gets blurred as to what is and isn't being offered in a massage session.

On further thought as all definitions become grey when over analyzed in my tired brain right now. Definitions have always been misunderstood in every industry. How can we define spending time with an MA or SP that truly cares for their guests? If we start to speculate about services offered, we very much take on a menu oriented mentality and have lost the purpose of an SP's passion. GFE, PSE, MA,MP.... as long as the provider is clear and upfront in what services she does offer, the time spent together is of companionship between two consenting adults that have taken the time to understand what takes place. I do agree this is confusing to someone new perhaps in the advertising area, but a little homework and getting to know each other a little and the expectations, can clear up much of the confusion. I take my time to answer all questions and like to have a mutual understanding before we even meet, to be clear and not have any misunderstandings in person.

I think that ultimately at this point gfe "massage" depends on the agreement between the hobbiest and provider. There are a lot of unclear lines that fluctuate in general in this industry and at a certain point it all comes down to what the original service agreement was. Ymmv can be a very relevant term in any area of interest... just sayin.

Is GFE massage without Daty a commonly accepted interpretation or it varies from one masseuse to another?.

I believe the OP posting their Question in the first place clearly answers that, along with some of the opinions given here indifferent of the facts (and indifferent to responding to the valid points in my 1st post), and the fact any MA would feel the need to use a long-standing and commonly known industry-wide Internet-filled Escort term to 'differentiate' themselves. In other words: No - it is Not. This appears all 'new' to MAs.

I suppose it may vary from one masseuse to another, but should not be expected as it ventures into the grey area between an MA and Sp.

Evidently, Erin.

Personally, I find black and white lines much more flattering in my advertising :)

If DATY was to be offered then it would change the tyoe of service, then you are not an MA but rather an SP...

Thus the very common use of the term GFE specifically by SPs to define said different 'tyoe of service'. This is clear.

What's now not clear is why MAs would feel the need to use a long-standing Escorting Naming Standard originated by Escorts in the Escort Business which has always defined a type of Escorting Service - to try and describe their non-Escorting type of Services as, of course, MAs are not SPs, but rather MAs - and don't want the 2 to be confused?

...while obviously creating this 'grey' area (As Sensual Erin commented on above) which never existed before and seems to want to be perpetuated to whatever end...

It's up to the lady and should remain private between two consenting adults.

Exactly, and when a lady does GFE she is a SP as per the services of which a GFE has always been defined as for which SPs thought up of and created the term GFE for in to be different from MAs in the first place - and if one offers masseuse services - then she is a MA. (As PassionVitto commented on above.)

Therefore, imho, otherwise, unnecessary market confusion is created by some MAs (or anyone else for that matter) - in otherwise mis-using said Escort terminology. ...and blanketly including all MAs into this 'new change' and 'grey zone' which has now confused the market, possibly disrupting business as usual?

A GFE massage should be interpreted as a non mechanical encounter within a sensual setting.

I do not personally advertise a GFE massage,

Should? Then are all 'non-GFE massages' (if I may create that term (TM pending :P )) - interpreted as always being a mechanical encounter within a non-sensual setting by all other MAs? Such as with yourself not advertising a GFE massage? ...and the other MAs you work with?

I'm under the impression that with the commercial spa's and now paid advertising, it made it more simplified to separate the two areas.

If that was the case - then I am left to wonder why CERB did not create a commercial spa and paid ads forum rather than the separate SP and MA forums which now exist?

The true art of erotic massage has been lost within these grey zones and should be made clear.

Yes - agree 100%!

We need clarity of current market confusion created by the MA 'grey zone' in using Escorting terminology in advertising before other MAs inadvertently fall into this. [CERB Rocks!]

A GFE MA in my opinion is a type of service an MA offers that is similiar to that of the gentleman spending time with his girlfriend. For example the MA is comfortable kissing & hugging.

If I may ask - where did you 1st see the Escorting term GFE used for the MA business? Here on CERB?

...and do All of your ladies whom advertise 'GFE Massage' kiss and hug and all those whom don't advertise 'GFE massage' don't kiss and hug?

Sounds like you describing a 'GF Massage' (see my previous post) - not a GFE (Escort) Massage - which has already been defined by Escorts for Escorting so as not too cause market confusion - such as this.

Thanks in Advance Angie for your clarification about GFE Massage Services and your MAs :) I'm waiting to understand how all this works before I see any MAs.

I advertise as a GFE masseuse because i go that extra mile to make it a more enjoyable massage experience without being a FS session' date=' or providing any other services such as daty or bj![/quote']

...but that's what GFE stands for 'such as daty or bj!' - as Escorts have already defined GFE since last millennium. See the authoritative sources I used in my first post for documented clarification. 'Going the extra mile' on non-SP services is more a YMMV thing (and kudos to you for extra milage), but does not mean 'GFE' is a term created for, or used for, 'going the extra mile', as that applies to all customer service - in any industry. Services are still the same - non-SP non-GFE services.

I have never seen GFE stand for...

...try to get to know the person i m with, to make it a unique experience, an experience that would make you feel you have known me for sometime now (even if it is our first time) experience a time where the gentleman and myself are together letting the sensuality and erotism take place, built intense moments that not necesarily mean we would end up having intercourse...

Where have you seen this before - got a link? What you describe above seems par for the course with all the SPs I have ever seen. This is not common for MAs?

(Sidebar - If I may ask: What do you mean by 'not necessarily' - it's 'possible' with you/other MAs ?)

Having sex of any kind (oral, vaginal, anal or what ever) does not mean fulfillment at all times!!! Or can you really tell me that everytime you have had sex you have been fulfilled?? I dont think so...

Yes. Yes I can, and Yes I have!

Simple philosophy in life I carry (since nearly dying various times) - always make love like its my last time. That is: Passionately ;) I expect someone with a sexy nick like yours to appreciate this :)

Definitions have always been misunderstood in every industry.

Correct me if I am wrong... Part of the business is perpetual clarification (and minimization?) of said misunderstandings, and prevention and remediation of any 'grey zones' created therein - especially when and where known to happen? (...for the better of the industry as a hole - rather than the now opposite effect it appears to be having?)

How can we define spending time with an MA or SP that truly cares for their guests?

Easily: With clear advertising toward the respective targeted markets, which, albeit can be crossed - doesn't necessarily mean everyone is.

I would assume both SPs and MAs care about their clients, as much as I, as a client (which I only speak of as myself and noth other hobbyists), are looking to see whom is a MA and whom is a SP, and their respective services for which specific industry targeted terminology (such as GFE for and by Escorts) is created in making advertising clear - for me to find what I am looking for (including caring).

...or were you being rhetorical with that Q?

If we start to speculate about services offered, we very much take on a menu oriented mentality and have lost the purpose of an SP's passion. GFE, PSE, MA,MP....

Hobbying is not a speculative industry, per se (nor, imho, does it or should it be), and menus are industry standard in order to display a SPs passions (vs. un-passionate 'restrictions'; as I would assume; if no need - why even have CERB? --bites tongue--) - thus the use of clear terms by SPs such as GFE & PSE - whereby it's not 'roulette' toward whether I, as a client, luck out and find a SP I like when looking for a SP, or finding a MA I like when looking for a MA.

Seems like quite a gamble with high potential for many continued disappointments (wasted time and money and clients .. and industry? (if left unabated?)) when not necessary - as SPs and MAs can (and do) easily provide clear communications and simply use already established common terminology for each respective industry. (ex: the great websites some ladies have - you know who you are! ;) )

Otherwise - YMMV Greatly! ...and not in a good way.

I do agree this is confusing to someone new perhaps in the advertising area, but a little homework and getting to know each other a little and the expectations, can clear up much of the confusion..

Yes! Thus, again, the need for clarification as to why MAs all of a sudden feel the need to now start using SPs terms to describe services which they do not provide as a industry standard (which already uniquely defines the differences between a lady choosing to be a SP or MA or otherwise).

'Homework' can be made easy with clear and proper use of industry terms, as previously commonly applied respective to MAs and SPs without causing any 'grey zones' on this 'GFE (but not GFE services) Massage' thingie. Believe you me, I have done heaps of 'homework' over the decades.

I take my time to answer all questions and like to have a mutual understanding before we even meet, to be clear and not have any misunderstandings in person.

Looking forward to your clarification (and anyone else from the business/hobby) towards MAs now feeling the need to start using SP terms to (apparently) differentiate themselves amongst MAs while not actually providing the advertised SP GFE Services for which GFE was, and is, created for :) ...rather than use already common MA terms, or even as I suggest - a 'GF Massage' (which seems fitting based on your description of services, rather than now create this grey zone of market confusion in trying to use the GFE term to describe, as made clear - non-SP services).

Otherwise - use at own risk I guess? :S Unfortunately.

Grey zones in hobby advertising makes me un-horny! :( Anyone else?

Cheers! :)

--------

To say GFE only applies to full-service is like saying in real life that fucking is the only way to enjoy your girlfriend. That would make for a pretty one-dimensional (and short) relationship.

I respectfully do not concur.

'GFE' is GFE as defined by Escorts and 'enjoy(ing) your girlfriend' is enjoying your girlfriend, as defined by you and your girlfriend. Seem like you are mixing apples and oranges.

I have never had a 'one-dimensional' SP GFE ...and I don't ever expect to ;) Hopefully you and no one else ever does.

I find this thread very interesting, and excellent valid points especially the use of "GFE" included in advertisements with MA's.

For myself, I basically " get to the chase " with MA's through a pm to find out exactly what they mean by identifying themselves as GFE, and you will always get a accurate answer.

I believe I have that right to ask that question before dropping door fees (possibly)and of course the other fees, I don't like be to thought as a time waster in this case, because of the term used by many MA's "GFE" but merely ensuring my "investment" pays me back dividends, In what I might be looking for in a session . I think that is fair from my perspective and being a client of many SPs and MA's and should never be labeled a time waster.

I enjoy the intimacy at times with an MA while having that shower together, touching, caressing and of course the massage itself it is a very nice change for myself from perhaps seeing an SP.

After all us gentlemen do enjoy that GFE intimacy at times with an MA as well.

I'm not technically savvy enough yet to break down quotes into sentences so will answer what I can personally in my summary to BownchickaBown. :)

I do agree that there has been an onslaught of ladies which I assume are new to the business advertising GFE. In this past year I have had many inquiries from new clients that don't know what to expect and have asked for services beyond a sensual massage. I clear this up immediately. I believe I am a GF experience. I've been in this business for 3 years now as an independent that is unique and caring. Many of my clients date back this far with me and there's a closeness that fulfills us both. As far as what the other MA's I work with are doing does not apply to me as I don't work for a spa and only know a few other independents. I don't pay attention to what they are doing as it not my concern.

As far as terms go and to define myself, I'm a masseuse, conversationalist, discreet confidant and companion. Most of my sessions are longer in length so I can get to know my guest and be able to offer something on an emotional basis rather than a slam bam, thank you, get out now your time is over, hj. :) I communicate with my clients even when not booking a session and always look forward to their company as much as they do mine. That in my opinion of GFE and unless you know how I conduct myself, it's difficult to summarize what I'm putting forward or the other ladies that have made good points in this thread. Many times I enjoy a glass of wine, with strawberries and cheese for a refined encounter. With other guests I have eaten pizza out of the box and drink beer from the bottle in my pajama's while laughing about life's silliness. If that's not a GF experience, I rest my case.

PistolPete added a good comment to ask first so you know what to expect. <ran out of rep points>.

I know I do things that way from the other side.

We are all unique and undefined. :)
