How do you handle Worry and Stress

Recommended Posts

I agree with all the above. Sometimes stress is good, I thrive under pressure. But bad stress requires a work out, a bath or a good solo session (to good porn!).

I'm not so much worried about stress, but I'm stressed about worrying so much! ... in which case I have another rum&coke, a naked woman in front of me and then life's good! We should all take a pill and enjoy life, it's way too short.

The universe will always take care of me is the way I see it.. What you think at any given moment is what you're manifesting for your destiny.

Whatever mood or vibe a person puts out, it gives back an exact match. It's a domino effect. Some people only see "what is" and try to control the situation while arguing for limitations.

You can never control a situation, only how you react to it. This is one of the BIGGEST lessons I've learned in life thus far. That and masturbation solves everything!

I've become more chill these days as a result of both of the above.

Que sera, sera.

With new Liberal Government in place. Hopefully a lot of the stress Harper has caused will soon go away :)

I just take s**t as it comes. It WILL happen. No need to stress about it.

I do not procrastinate. How often did I worried for something I could have solve a long time ago. Not anymore...

And last, I am neither an optimist, nor a pessimist. Each solution has its problem, and each problem has its solution.

For my part I believe in living in the moment and not worrying too much over things I can't control. Most problems can be solved if you 1. Take a deep breath 2. Relax 3. Focus on finding effective solutions

Personally, I believe that you live the reality that you create... (so yes, you can change/improve what isn't working for you for something better and more fulfilling) :)

This being said, when I need to relax, escape or re-energize, I will most likely seek to:

- Escape to one my favorite destinations

- Go for long walks with my dog

- Enjoy a relaxing massage

- Indulge with (too much) chocolate (c'est mon péché mignon oui!;)

- Get creative and have lots of non stop great kinky sex! (probably the most effective formula to stay "healthy forever") haha

Live in the moment. Tomorrow's another day. ;)

Exercise - stress the body to relieve the stress on the mind!

Plan - I always remind myself that worrying is NOT an action. A PLAN at least sets out future actions to take on whatever is worrying.

If I can't actively plan for/take action for something, I *try* to remain zen-like about it. As others have said, there's only so much one can do about what's going to happen. So I do the best I can to actively handle what I can affect and do the best I can to accept what I cannot affect and deal with the consequences.
