You ever wish you could talk to someone about this?

Recommended Posts

So I just had the most amazing experience with Manuella Cruz, it truly was one of the best hours I have had over the past few months. I left the appointment feeling happy and relaxed. The only thing that would make it better would being able to talk about the experience with someone else. Yet I don't really have someone who I would be comfortable discussing the hobby with. Anyone else ever have similar feelings?

I can definitely relate. I've had experiences on the job, both positive and negative, that I really wished I could have shared with someone. Although I have opened up to 1 or 2 close friends about my "other life", I don't go into detail about any of it with them because I can see that they aren't comfortable with it.

Luckily, I've found a few clients that I sometimes chat back and forth with through text messages. I can share my stories with them and they can tell me theirs as well. It's great and really helps with the feelings of isolation one can get.

Have you ever thought of joining one of the social groups here on CERB? They're great for meeting people with similar interests... Hey, if you're ever dying to talk to someone, you can always PM me. I'm always interested in hearing a good story! :p

I definitely agree. For me, in a way writing a review after a great session fills that void. Also have a friend, a stripper of all things, with whom I've been able to discuss the hobby in the past. As she'd seen SPs in the past with an SO, she wasnt completely repulsed by the topic as most would be.

I am so completely in the same mind set..

and I will go a little further , and also add topics or events that we can experience vis-a-vis all our aspects of our day, whether it be work, home/family - and good or bad -,and of course our hobbying or what ever the case may be... ;-)

I do have a close friend that I have known for 30+ years, and we can openly talk about anything without the fear of being judged, as he has opened-up to me, about a year ago, that he is a Dom (long story..) and has his Sub and both a very happy when they are together.. etc...

He lives 6 hours away and telephone/email conversations are possible, but not very convenient, as we both have busy lives.

So.. my solution...

A diary...(on my android tablet, very secure and easily accessible)

yes .. seems a little old fashion, but it works... no, the diary wont give you objective thoughts or opinions, but it sure helps with taking a load off your mind.

Also, what makes it is work, is that you can add special memory from long ago or new ones (again good or bad) and relieve a little stress that the feeling you are trying to hold on to will not fade away over time.

I wish I would have had started years ago..

I'll stop here

D.

Perhaps this may seem strange to the previous posters, because it's an opposite viewpoint, but part of the intrigue of this "hobby" is that I share it with absolutely no one. It's my secret life. Known only to me and the ladies I see. So very different than my regular life. The only time I discuss it is here on CERB using the anonymity of my forum handle.

Indeed, I handled my hobbying life completely in the manner you just described.. no one knew about it other than the ladies involved, until recently, maybe a year or so.

Yes, the anonymity of this community has been wonderful avenue to express thoughts and ideas, I am very grateful.

I guess i needed a way to empty the overflowing bucket, so to speak..

but I was finding my secret life to be a little heavy on my shoulders because I could not share/discuss/vent some of these life moments.

I find comforting to have the diary as a reminder of details and feelings in all aspects of my life.

I could totally relate to this. I have always felt lonely in this hobby - a hobby unlike others, that I could not discuss with any of my friends for discretion reason even with my closest buddies. Luckily, I have a close SP friend with whom I keep in touch daily by emails and sometimes to have a get-together for social times. Recently, I have also found a couple of hobbyist friends here on cerb and we exchanged PMs and emails frequently and that make me feel a little less lonely. It is note-worthy that whatever we talk about, we are mature and discrete enough not to divulge any personal info. of any SPs we have interest in.

As one of the posters mentioned above, I also find that writing a reco or review after a date is a great way to ease this loneliness and to share my wonderful experience. A personal diary may also be a good way to record and keep account of memorable encounters. But for myself, instead of keeping a personal diary, I have found that the "My Notes" at the top right corner of a cerb webpage is a good place to store all my memorable PM's, posts and most of my recos. Whenever I have the need to review something important I have written, I find that this is the easiest place to find it.

All that said, I wish this hobby was not such a taboo subject that I could not talk openly with my close friends.

At first I wanted so fast

to share my stories of forbidden sojourns and sites seen.

As time passes and the stories amass,

keeping the secret sins secret is a satisfying means.

I must agree, in part, I wish this lifestyle was more accepted. Not that I want to tell the world the details of encounters I have had. That is and remains private between the lady and myself. But from time to time, less so now but every now and then I get questions on who I date, would I like to get fixed up and so on. I wish this lifestyle was accepted so people I know would know I am dating, in the sense I'm having encounters with professional companions, and that I am happy, not feeling like I'm missing out.

A related thread might be of interest

oh my god yes! Worse though is when stuff kind of comes out accidentally. Then the questions start "oh... why were you at a hotel?" or "I didnt think you were working at the club any more what do you mean a guy you met at work??" lol Im an awful liar.

Luckily this is so out of character for me that nobody would guess in their wildest dreams lol

Thanks everyone for your replies. It is nice to know that I am not the only one who wishes they could share more about their experiences.

Isn't this one of the purposes of this site? To have discussions and share ideas? Just like this thread is doing... Discussing about discussions!

I've actually met up with other clients after we discovered that we had many of the same ladies in common. You're right being able to sit and have a chat face to face and discuss aspects of this lifestyle with someone who understands and knows is a very freeing feeling. Not necessarily discussing the specifics on any encounters but a more open general way. Hell, some has even involved some planning for a little group play at some point or a MMF scenario. LOL, a "partner in crime" if you will.

That is exactly what I was getting at. Posting a review is fun and so is chatting over the internet but sometimes it would be nice to sit and share a beer and have a real conversation.

Even though I have a presence in this forum and not posting, shyness being a factor, I have been doing this for 20 years, and I can tell you its a hobby that is just not discussed. But my view is , who cares, everyone has there thing, if mine happens to be escorts, then who business is it anyway. It is consenting adults that want to spend time together. thats it.

I was at Bluesfest one year with my best buddy. At some point, my buddy pointed out two attractive women to me. As it turned out, one of the women was an SP that I had seen numerous times.

I wanted to tell him that I knew the one women on an intimate level but I decided against it as I do not want anyone in my personal life knowing about my hobby.

Having said that, I would love to have somebody that I can speak to about my hobby experiences (both good and bad).

I agree, sometimes you just want to shout to the heavens. I find very few people in my life I could trust these things with. People judge. Insiders are definitely the best choice.

It's fun to know you are getting it on with women most guys can only dream of.

I don't tell anyone anything.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if some IRL friendships didn't result from meeting on CERB or other online venues. I'd say that, if someone is interested in making friends with whom they can be open about this, maybe this is the best place to start. Send a PM to someone who seems to be on the same wave length. Who knows where it will go.

But bear in mind that most hobbyists have chosen this option because discretion is imperative. Not everyone will be willing to take it to the next level.

I like the idea that no one in my "real" life would ever suspect that I have occasionally seen SP's and gone to SC's. It's my secret, and I treasure my experiences.

I have one SP friend with whom we communicate via email, sharing ideas and thoughts. I think this site is a positive and respectful and open way of connecting with others. Someone coming here by accident might take a quick look and think "sleazy" but when you take the time to read the general threads, there is a lot of fascinating and insightful ideas going on.

Agree that something within the social groups of getting to know a few people a little more would help to fill a void, but like most friendships, they need to develop over time. A private social group in CERB that isn't just open to the public might be a good place to share stories (while still being respectful of the SP's, of course).

I'd occasionally like to talk about events that happen in this lifestyle too, but I just keep it here in CERB. I'm slowly leaving the scene, so once I've gone I won't be able to discuss my experiences anywhere since I have not told anyone who knows me about this side of my life. But I guess I treat it the way I have to treat all secrets. In fact, today I got an email with the greatest news I could have ever gotten but I'm sworn to secrecy, so I have to swallow it and keep it inside. So I guess my best advice is if you feel the need to discuss the lifestyle with friends, make some friends here on CERB.

One of the reasons this site (and another) exists is not only to share experiences and recommendations but to socialize with like minded individuals who understand the hobby. I've been at this for over 10 years now and reply on these sites to not only get info and intel but to chat it up with others whom I would never dream of meeting in real life (hobbiests, not providers lol). I appreciate the forum to chat but I appreciate the anonymity.

I have often wished I have kept an anonymous blog to keep track of my experiences as I have had many and know many have disappeared in the cobwebs of my mind, but oh well. In a way my reviews have been my blog. I sometimes enjoy re-reading my older stuff and having a good chuckle or a smile on my face. I often wonder what retired SP/MPA are doing nowadays and wish them well, though I'm sure none remember me amongst their many clients.
