Losing Interest

I am new to this hobby. Amd have very limited time to indulge. It is the reason I joined cerb. I want to find the right lady for my next appointment. These comments are discouraging.

Depending on what you are looking for their are a number of options available. All depends on what you want.

It wasn't that long ago I was trying to set up another Quad, just never materialized.

Don't be discouraged. If everyone was really ready to "hang up the hat" so to speak, there wouldn't be a CERB, or other escort review boards. Take the comments posted as each person's individual experience/outlook.

But you should, if you wish to partake in this lifestyle give it a chance.

Me, I started, joining CERB Feb 2010, my first encounter July 2010 and have no plans to retire.

Look at the recommendations for the city you are going to see a lady in, it would be a good way to get a start

And don't be discouraged, this can be a very positive mutually beneficial lifestyle...it's brightened my life :-)

Good Luck

Loss of interest could be for a variety of reasons.....your new relationship is maybe fulfilling all your needs..emotional and sexually? You are frequenting SP s too often...maybe cut back, be selective and make it exciting and special.....Maybe this long cold seemingly never ending winter is dragging you down..just have to hang in there and wait for spring or your just due for a break, so take one, recharge and then when you are ready, jump back in.

It's been awhile for me. Life interferes and no matter how intrigued I am, time is an issue. Whenever I become slightly bewildered, I think of three things. Who are the reputable ones from my home area? Who have I met with and connected with before? Which ladies from CERB are travelling this way? Tried and true always beckon to me in times of uncertainty.

I wonder if it is boredom or is it that it is easy to take things for granted when they come too easily?

There is something lost when you can fulfill all of your sexual desires and fantasies without the art of seduction.

Much of the excitement doesn't come from the sexual acts it comes from the anticipation and the dance to get there. An experienced provider will ensure the dance of seduction is a part of your session.

Its seems the limits in this industry are fading or are shifting. It's imperative that the girls have boundaries. Not just to protect themselves but to protect the mystique of the provider. If it becomes just about the items on a pick list of services the excitement will fade quickly.

If you know how every session will play out and everything that will happen there is no seduction that occurs.

The excitement of mutual touching and teasing is missing. The need to seduce a woman with your charm and personality is unnessecary if you have already picked your menu. Even though this is a service, we are humans and without maintaining the art of seduction something is lost. A percentage of guys want something a little more than drive-thru sex. Maybe you are one of those guys and just have been looking for something a little more cerebral. Less is often more!

GeorgieBoy69 is a Winnipeg pooner, and the issue he raises is a Winnipeg problem that may not exist elsewhere to anywhere near the same extent.

Not one Winnipeg SP has responded in this thread; all the SPs who responded are from other cities. They clearly don't fully understand where GB69 is coming from.

The only person who truly gets it is cinelli, to wit:

Winnipeg is a very small isolated market. There is not a lot of novelty here, it doesn't take long to visit all the parlors and all the decent SPs. Montreal or Vancouver have hundreds coming and going, Winnipeg is stagnant.

The market has changed so much lately. There used to be a smaller number of good to excellent SPs. Now the same number is there, but they are adrift in a sea of bp flotsam and jetsam. It takes a lot more work to find the good ones now, and it has almost become TOO much work.

There is a small number of select SPs in Winnipeg who have been around for several years. Most of the newcomers in the past three years or so are suspect. They advertise almost exclusively on BP, and many have been reported as scams or worse. A lot of them seem to be street girls who have gone indoors and think their abysmal "services" are worth the same as those of well established, reputable local SPs and the elite visiting ladies. Not only that, many use photos purloined from the web sites of supermodels, porn stars and elite escorts in other cities and/or countries, As a result, experienced Winnipeg pooners avoid BP escorts like the plague. This seriously reduces the choice and leads to boredom due to repeating too often with the same few ladies.

Sorry, folks, but if you're not from Winnipeg, your opinions as stated in this thread are not germane to this problem.

When posts are made on the public forum that ALL CERBite's can read and reply to, you are bound to get input from across Canada, not just from Winnipeg SP/Clients

Might I suggest if you want to keep Winnipeg issues exclusive to only Winnipeg SP/Clients, start a Social Group on CERB and restrict it's membership to only Winnipeg CERBite's, and you all can discuss to your hearts content in private without reading anything from the rest of us and we in turn won't comment because we won't be reading posts about Winnipeg

I'll disagree with you. This isn't a problem it's a discussion thread. One that was added to by multiple gentlemen sharing a similar sentiment about the industry as a whole. The OP also indicated many potential reasons for his boredom, his new relationship etc....

Our replies are to the thread as a whole and to the many people who have voiced opinions and asked questions. I don't see that the thread has gone off topic as the discussion was about the OP losing interest in his hobbying, not the state of affairs in Winnipeg for adult companionship.

Discussion is welcome but you need to understand the situation. Winnipeg is different from other places for the reasons I cited.

Unfortunately there are dishonest, unrespectful men out there. I imagine every single lady out there has a horror story or two to share. What is happening in Winnipeg isn't exclusive to this industry. Winnipeg is riddled with poverty, unemployment, crime, violence, drugs, you name it. It is one of the poorest, least maintained cities in the country. Many of the girls that advertise are scammers, crackheads, or even nonexistent ( ads being placed by men). Even some of the so called professionals are well known to cancel or no show on a far too often basis. I've been cautious enough to carefully select who I visit. I do name searches, photo searches, use boards such as this, tineye, etc.. I feel I have become quite good at choosing the correct lady. Even then, I would estimate the no show rate to be in the 20-25% range. Absolutely unacceptable in any other profession. The only one I can say has been 100% as expected is VIPOTG, but I also know others have had issues there. Even CERB is a problem. Remember it is a recommendation board, not a review board. Well that helps the ladies more than it does the men. I would love to be on here posting names and dates of no shows, bad experiences, sketchy situations. Then we could quickly see patterns emerge and know exactly who are the unreliable SPs .Unfortunately that is not allowed. So we see the all too common " can't comment" or pm me. Like I stated before, for myself I'm watching for the well known, well reviewed travelling ladies and will continue on that path until I see an improvement in this city.

Winnipeg is becoming well known for the BP growing list of scammers because the fellas are looking for cheaper rates. Not sure how that is working out ? ....

The flood of bp scammers is a major contributor. I wish guys would quit trolling those murky depths looking for bargains. That just perpetuates the problem. You can go with a sure bet for 250. But to save 50 guys go to a dump in the North End to see someone who has no positive track record or even a really negative one.

WTF?

Or maybe it isn't the money? Is it the lure of finding a diamond in the rough? Something new that no-one else knows about?

Verrrry hard for someone new to develop a good reputation in Wpg right now

Emily, Leigh and Riley are all fairly new and have outstanding reputations. There are others too but those three I know first hand.

And travelling gals that won't come to the city near as often if at all and many require deposits which seems to be balked at as well. Word gets out and some of the new travelling women bypass Wpg.

LOTS of travelling ladies are coming here. A few years ago you would have been correct. Not now. A top-rated lady can be impossible to book with because the demand.

There have been a few who came for quick buck and provided dismal service. They have been criticised but deservedly.

My best and worst experiences in the last few years have been with touring ladies.

Compliments of our very own pooners

Neither side deserves all the blame.

Most trying to help and offer opinions and advise

True and props to those actually trying to help. Winnipeg is a unique market, very isolated and very small. Someone who lives in the Lower Mainland or Southern Ontario cannot imagine it.

I wish I could sit everyone down and a Powerpoint presentation on my 30 years of Winnipeg pooning. And the Winnipeg demographics and economy in general.

This was what the thread, the discussion was about. Here is the OP's post copied/pasted

icon1.gif Losing Interest

Is it me or are others losing interest in this hobby? I have been finding myself more and more very disinterested in what or who I see available. Maybe I'm just getting old or maybe being in a new relationship I just don't feel it anymore lol.

It wasn't until near the bottom of page 2 that posts starting turning this thread into the problems of Winnipeg. Prior to that the OP's disinterest seemed attributed to in part a new relationship and getting older. And people get older everywhere, and enter in new relationships everywhere, not just Winnipeg.

So how this thread talking about one person losing interest got derailed into a problems of Winnipeg discussion I don't know

If you wish a discussion of Winnipeg problems only discussed by Winnipeg SP's/Clients create a social group and restrict it's membership to Winnipeg SP/Clients. But as long as Winnipeg problems are aired for all of CERB to see and read and hear, expect replies from coast to coast. It's the nature of this community

Born and bread in Manitoba. I lived in Winnipeg in the mid 80's and again in very early 90's. I visited Executive Bath for the 1st time in 1991 I do believe. and I understand Winny. I have also lived in Edmonton .... 1st visit was on Calgary Trail south in 1990. Lived in Calgary also for a short time, stints in Saskatoon, Regina and Brandon. Travelled and visited across Canada.

Every market is unique and has it's demographics, poverty and ups and downs and shit that is happening.

Winnipeg is still a large market as I see it. I was just there and looking at EC and BP you would sure think so. Outside the perimeter tho .....there is a TON of money ready to spend with rural Ag and industry economy and the oil boom as well that has been going on with no end in sight. Many go west instead to SK or travelling gals perhaps visit more locally .

Winnipeg is no longer the hub. Perhaps part of the problem Cinelli. Just thinking out loud and food for thought.

"A downward spiral that has created a situation that has decreasing reputable locals in business, at least advertising for new clients and participating on the boards."

Reputable locals have developed their business model and have no need or interest in participating on the boards. It's the old story, if business is good then why draw attention to yourself and attract jealousy, competition and perhaps inquiries from clients you'd have no interest in seeing. The smartest ones say nothing at all.

For me the art of the seduction, is a big part hence why I prefer longer sessions. It is a whole experience and it is what I want. That is my preference, not everyone has that same preference yet others are having similar feelings.

Kelly are you possibly planning a trip to Wpg?

Horndog I as well am a little surprised that none of the SP's in Wpg have posted in the thread.

That may be part of why some of the Wpg SP's have not responded, however it still is somewhat surprising that not one has.

Well said Kelly.

I completely agree with your thoughts about the difference between "drive through" services (which I personally believe are being offered more and more on BP), versus the slower paced, sensual encounter that not only provides physical relief but also mental and emotional stimulation. Memories to make you look back with a smile and hopefully a tingle.

I think to achieve that, mutual trust and respect, and repartee must be established. Sometimes with fly by night SPs, or providers in it for the wrong reasons, it is not possible to develop those.

I also think that as people change and evolve, so too do their interests, habits, or hobbies, and that's not a bad thing. Sometimes breaks or changes are necessary in order to come back refreshed.

You really don't get it.. no offense, but it just makes more work for me to scroll past your responses to read the opinions and conclusions posted by Winnipegers. This is posted in the Winnipeg section. We're not about to start a private group..

Thanks to Georgieboy, cinelli, MrGreen and Horndog for their posts.. Kudos gents for your continued strong contribution to the local scene.. And as local Winnipeg veterans, you've summarized the current situation in Winnipeg, to a "t"..

Yes, the situation in Winnipeg is in a decline. I posted my comments on another board, no need for me to repeat here, except to say that I do not give my business to the the touring ladies. "Buy local" is my motto..

To the small number of excellent local providers (Kayla, Leighxox, Jessie29, Juicy Jessi, DK Morgan, Emily, etc) my thanks for your good work and courage in carrying on in the face of the onslaught of bp druggies/scammers and the surge of touring girls passing thru town..

Maybe some of you Manitobans/Winnipeggers need to re-read the OP's post starting this thread

It wasn't till near the end of page two that some Winnipeggers took the thread as a chance to complain about the problems of Winnipeg. This thread wasn't about the problems of Winnipeg. The OP talked about getting old or a new relationship as his reason for disinterest.

Really this becoming about the problems of Winnipeg is closer to a thread hijack, this thread was not about the Winnipeg scene till some CERB members sought to turn it into one

As long as threads are made in public forums for all CERBite's to read then expect responses from all CERBite's

And if you want a thread about the problems of just Winnipeg, then at least start a thread about the problems of Winnipeg, don't take over another thread where disinterest is attributed to age and a new relationship.

Being the OP and a member here and within the community for many years, I am going to add to the whole equation. I have spent ten's of thousands of dollars over the years. I have enjoyed most of the times with a few that were just a complete waste of time. The fact we have forums such as this and others where I have contributed and have also learned valuable information has been a great part of my time as a pooner.

The magical word in my original post is MAYBE... The scene in Winnipeg is brutal and no one can argue otherwise on that aspect and Maybe that is why I've lost so much interest. Another important part of the original thread which was also highlighted is: I have been finding myself more and more very disinterested in what or who I see available. That line by itself talks to the fact that the scene in Winnipeg is brutal.

I do appreciate everyone's feedback however I also understand why members feel that this is a "Winnipeg" or "Manitoba" issue and of course want to see people who are more involved in the local scene put in their 2 cents.

Roamingguy as you have stated this is a public forum, anyone can post anywhere, which is true. However if I wanted everyone to respond I would have put the thread directly in General Discussion and not the Winnipeg section. That is the reason I believe so many people from Manitoba are stating this is a Winnipeg thread, I agree with that feeling.

I can't speak for everyone but I do feel a kinship with my Manitoba brethren, we live here and fully understand and appreciate what goes on in this province. I do not check out other Provinces threads or make a comment unless I will be traveling to that area. Then I will peruse and comment on threads otherwise I feel it is for the members of that province. Again anything that people would prefer to discuss more openly would then be posted in General Discussion. That was not my intent hence the fact I posted in Winnipeg.

Yeah, you have to see it to believe it. Either you participate in the local market and see it or you don't. There's about five local girls who are really top level. That's it. No point sugar coating it. No local Asian SPs at all. Want a lady who looks like a Victoria's Secret model? You'll have to wait for Lara, Chrystal or VJ.
