Fingers crossed didn't work...No notification to my Lyla Gmail were received today (April 30th).:icon_sad: Well this is some headache! They started to come through after 9:30p.m. (April 30th) and now no notifications received to my Gmail since April 30th after 10:00p.m. I have done everything to allow the notifications, added all Lyla addresses' to my contacts and nothing was going to my spam and not a thing from all the PM's notification's I received today. :icon_rolleyes: 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I have everything checked to receive my notifications to my Gmail. Has it been confirmed that Gmail is blocking us too? I'd rather ask and not assume but it's been days since anything arrived in my Gmail inbox. If they are blocking us and I have done everything to allow my notifications to get through, are there any other email providers that no one has ever had an issue with? My question is to the Escorts on here as we most likely receive the majority of PM's, what email company/provider do you use to receive your PM's without incident or issues? I've learned to just deal with it as no one seems to have an account that works. backrubman 64800 Report post Posted July 27, 2015 Yeah notifications definitely still broken. mod should look into implementing https://dmarc.org/ (DKIM and SPF records) as it's pretty hard to get past a spam filter these days without these DNS records, not that they are simply going to a spam folder, they are obviously being rejected entirely. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The issue is if too many people report the mail as spam these 3rd party SMTP providers just cancel your account without notice. Even when you pay them!! Some people reported lyla.com as sending SPAM EMAIL so the new system in place lets us know when a complaint it made (5 in the last month) SO I AM BANNING ANYONE REPORTING US AS SPAM! This includes marking the emails in your INBOX from this site as SPAM mail as that can sometimes be enough to register a complaint. When you register here WITH your email address you authorize us to send emails so making it as SPAM is unfair to everyone who wishes to receive emails from the site. In your USERCP you can choose to NOT GET NOTIFICATIONS or DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THREADS. Please UNCHECK this and remove all your subscriptions if you do not want to get the notifications. Also... if your account has a DEFUNCT or BAD email address it will get BOUNCED (This also effects of rating) when this happens I will lock out your account until you add a valid email but please check to see if your email in your profile is still a valid email. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
