If you've had to misrepresent yourself to get me to come, why would I want to, even for free? I've said it before and I'll say it again. As long as there are suckers, there will be scammers. Most have had the old Bait and Switch happen at least once, but it shouldn't happen to anyone too often unless you're a slow learner and don't use your instincts and the tools available to protect yourself. But what's more important is that one has the nerve to turn around and leave. (muggings or dangerous situations aside). I have to believe scammers are scamming because it works way too often. In other words people feel awkward or too guilty to leave. If people weren't succumbing to the situation, and the scammer wasn't profiting than the scammer probably wouldn't bother...
