    It has been sometime since I reviewed a girl in Victoria and it is time to stop procrastinating and quit being such a lazy sod.

    Last week, I some time to kill in between events and decided to arrange for some distraction. I knew that VIP's location was right downtown and as I have never been there before, decided to find out exactly where. I called earlier in the day and, on the receptionist's recommendation, made arrangemnts to meet with Blair later in the afternoon.

     

    There has been some debate on the location, but I had no issues with it. When I rang the buzzer, I was let in immediately. Most of us are pretty anonymous on a busy street, so as long as the establishment doesn't end up on a local newscast on a slow news day, I don't forsee any issues with it for me.

     

    Once inside, I layed eyes on Blair. Wow, she was wearing the pink and black outfit as seen on her pictures and I felt a little tongue tied, like when you are introduced to a girl that you know is completely out of your league. (Fortunately I can buy myself into this league ;) ) Blair is not only visually striking, she has a demeanor and grace about her which is hard to describe. When we got to the room, I took care of business without availing myself of any extras on this occasion. I undressed but had to wait a few minutes for the shower to come available.     Sometimes you can be rebuffed for being nice because the person you are being nice to has had their fill of people with ulterior motives being nice for less than altruistic reasons.

     

    Unfortunaltely I find myself a little more suspicious than perhaps I should be lately. It seems to have coincided with my move to Ontario although I can't think of a specific occasion which started it. It may have something to do with being in an unfamiliar place. I do know if someone is being nice to you when in the Middle East, it is time to put your guard up and change your location pronto.

    Recently, my son took me out to a neighborhood pub and we spent the afternoon talking, watching the girls go by and generally just hanging out. The 20 some bucks for the beer I drank was way cheaper than any gift and meant much more to me. At my time in life, anything I want I have already bought myself. Anf if I haven't he couldn't afford it anyway. Just give him some of your time.

    There is a profound difference between Morality and being ethical. Morality is very subjective and dependant on values a person was brought up in (Thou shall not covet another man's wife) Ethics are more based on universal values (Do unto others as you want them to do unto you) Most commandments, rules and laws are based on both these lines of thought. Modern thinking has moved towards conventions based on ethical standards and away from moral standards as morals change from religion to religion and culture to culture. On a personal observation, I find people with deeply held religous convictions tend not be able to tell the difference between ethical and moral conventions and push for moral solutions even when those solutions are considered unethical by a less dogmatic majority.

    Unfortunately, what allows our democracy toi function is the premise that certain institutions are above party politics and remain neutral. Canadian Forces and RCMP are two such, although the lines have been blurred in recent years. Parlaiment itself is alsdo supposed to remain non-partisan and Bridgette knew this and chose to disregard that responsibility. I have no sympathy for her whatsoever. My support of her cause is separate.

    The application of Canadian law is not the same across our country, and when this lot in Ottawa gets their collective heads out of their arses and look at the whole country, not just where most of their traditional votes are, they might actually get a real majority. Perhaps the Liberals and their few remaining supporters should take note.

    GFE has become a meaningless term, like "green", or "new and improved". The orginal meaning of GFE was DATY and BBBJ were part of the deal. Both of these activities dried up in the early 80s when AIDS was "invented", and as the paranoia let up, providers would differentiate themselves from the one hour or first pop, whichever came first crowd. GFE also meant that one usually got close to a full hour.

     

    (you can debate and disagree with the first part all you want, but I was there when most of you were playing with barbies or jerking off to Sears catalogues)

     

    Then, as most men decided that GFE was a much better deal and girls were coming up against more competition, the term "Safe GFE" appeared which included DATY, a full hour, MSOGs but everthing was covered. (still the norm in many places). By this time, everyone was advertising on the internet and everyone was offering GFE, even when they weren't. The term True GFE (includes BBBJ) started appearing and discussion boards like this one contined to muddy the definitions.

     

    Fast forward to present day, and the term GFE, Safe GFE and True GFE now mean anything the advertiser says they mean. The lesson here is to establish before handing over the money, which activities will be entertained. And if they won't discuss via email or phone ahead of time, move on to someone who will.
