  1. I think we just have to accept that no matter what, big brother is here and is here to stay and that anything you do on the internet is being recorded somewhere by someone.

Just incase this new law passes, contrary to my previous posts, I love the Cons, And and.....Mr Harper ! On Tuesdays and Thursdays when I'm Christian, Wednesdays I'm Hindu :icon_rolleyes:

(Obfuscation is the concealment of intended meaning in communication, making communication confusing, intentionally ambiguous, and more difficult to interpret ...)

If this law passes, I will no longer trust the government and "authorities", for anything.

Imagine one "authority" spying on another, to dig up dirt on each other, Ha ha ha.

Have to start working on my "code" and garbage emails.

How about a random "flood the internet with crap" day ?

  2. Anytime you get a small number of people interacting daily or many times daily there's bound to be "dishes flying in the kitchen" once in awhile.

A small group of strong wills, are bound to disagree on something from time to time. As long as we can restrain ourselves from "I am right and you are wrong" kind of tone, most people will pause and at least consider your point of view. There will, no doubt, be more disagreements to come. I see nothing alarming about a heated debate, as long as it is not vindictive.

  3. Have dealt with similar accidents before.

Drying it out is not good enough, should be flushed with clean water, (distilled even better). or electronic spray. Soup has lots of salt, residue can short tiny circuits. Not suggesting you soak the battery, but look closely at battery connections and circuits nearby, and anywhere the soup went. The battery is likely fried, but cleaning might fix a bad connection that makes it appear dead or wont charge.

Just like corrosion on a car battery terminals.

  4. ...way too much power to do as they please...

Sounds like ,Us verses Them !

I for one am not controlled by this imaginary power !

Name a board that has anywhere near the same number of Ladies participating, and Why is that ?

We get to talk to the ladies, and not just talk about them !

I vote to keep this site as it is !

  5. Being a boy born and raised in Southwestern Ontario and being a teenager in the 70's, there was only one band from the area that made an impact... and that was MAX WEBSTER! No idea why they didn't make it bigger, especially in the States or even here.... Kim Mitchell was and is a genius, the band in and of itself was tight, professional and fun. Their stuff was the music of summertime.... I keep going back to "A Million Vacations" (dedicated to party summers at Grand Bend), High Class in Borrowed Shoes, Paradise Skies and then to Kim Mitchell`s solo stuff like `Go for Soda`, `Patio Lanterns`and Easy to Tame....

    Ditto on that.

Saw both bands several times around Peterborough.

Kim M , Guitar Master. tasty and powerful.

    My fave track...All We Are

    obviously cause withiout saying RUSH.

as far as solo acts, one of the best female voice around Amanda Marshall.

    Ditto on that too!

RUSH...three outstanding musicians in one band.

    Fave track, Time Stands Still

  6. Imagine Eliot Spitzer (CNN host) doing a story on Farley's research, and getting her on camera to comment. (So.. Ms Farley, you think I am a degenerant ? Well, I got a TV show, so there !) Never will happen.

  7. They fear that women like us are out to take their men away from them...

    And their mens Cash !

Can't find any info on whether Farley is, or was ever, married.

Wonder if her study was done in Canada (where prostitution is legal, and hand guns are not) if her results would be different ?

I think she overlooked the bombardment of " buy this product and you will get sex " advertising. Whats the difference between going to a car show and a strip joint ?

USA, the worlds largest weapons producer (trafficker?), and their moral crusades make me puke. Guns good , sex bad.

  8. The Vancouver Sun reports, 5 July 2011:

    http://www.vancouversun.com/news/Backbench+aims+abolish+trade/5055416/story.html

"The Nordic model involves a public education program aimed at making it socially unacceptable to buy any sexual services
    and
provision of a wide range of social services including housing, education, detox and income support to address the
    reality that poverty and desperation
often drives women and children into the sex trade."

    Yes, I get it !

If we can't punish the evil men first, poverty and desperation shall remain, as is ! (can't do anything about that without good reason, ya know)

And which came first, the Buyer or the Seller ?
