I've been noticing what appear to be new tiny buds on the trees! This has been around the Toronto/Hamilton area over the past couple of days. In some ways it's nice, but I hope I am wrong about what I'm seeing because it would mean nature is really out of whack right now...yeesh.

Hmm, l'il ole me starting an official "Introduce Yourself" thread..? I'm strangely shy at the thought. But it's a great idea. I may get up the nerve to do it this week! Or, start a thread just to introduce myself.

Of course, I wouldn't post any type of promo here. I am in fact just getting up the nerves to post my promo in the announcements section! Lame, lol. Just not used to going public yet.

I'm wondering if there is or will be an introduction thread for new members to introduce themselves, either before or after they have passed through moderation?

I introduced myself in one of the social groups I joined but now I feel that wasn't the greatest choice of placement (it was also a bit wordy, lol).

Hope this is an appropriate spot to ask this question.

I agree with a lot of the women choices I've read here, especially Jennifer Aniston and Angelina (but I would not vote her sexiest as she has no bum ;)).

I would add Jennifer Lopez...man she looks amazing, and she's at least 40.

My two cents: We can't buy into the hype about young women being "more" beautiful or valued. Although each generation has their own kind of beauty (and some shared aspects of beauty) it just seems there are a lot of marketing, socioeconomic and consumer related reasons for the youth worship.

On the other hand, Scarlett Johannsen is most definitely a great beauty and one of my favourite people to look at. There are so many gorgeous and sexy women of every age both in the celebrity world and that I know personally in my life.

What can I say, I'm no longer in my 20's...but I look good and stay healthy. I don't feel left out of the beauty pool...yet....:roll:
