You'll find talking about rates vs service is pretty hit and miss. The new laws have quite a few people reluctant to talk about it over here or in texts, emails etc. I always ask in advance, and double check when i meet someone to make sure they know what was said if they are not the one replying. If you don't get any kind of response to specific questions, you can always let them know you'll chat in person and go from there.

I can say its doesn't sound reasonable to not says specific acronyms (with the new laws) but a yes or no to service you offer is a simple as it gets (to me atleast).

Also as a rule I don't show up with more cash that agreed to before the meet, especially when meet someone I dont know, can never been to careful and I don't like being upselled or negotiated with. Ladies on this site don't like that, what makes anyone think the client does ?

Contacted a few SP I've meet more than once before via text (now my number is different and they don't know who i am) and i ask there rates for a specified service (not the basic) and I'm given the rates for basic??... I don't want to keep repeating myself knowing that provide more.. just wondering if this common now a days for Halifax?

I never had this problem before i don't like sending a dozen text to get a full answer.

maybe its just me.... but nothing more dumb that saying you don't provide a service and than me seeing on your website...wont be seeing that sp that keep posting here.

quite interesting,but not unexpected. Compared to countries in Europe and Asia where prostitution is on large scales compared to Canada the demand for uncommon/unusual practices increases due to the large supply of workers. This cause an effect is the same with anything in economics. Also is human nature to want what you can't get, and in competitive markets for some workers to make a living they will resort to unsafe practices. I've had the pleasure of living all over this fine city and if you're looking at things from a providers stand point some of the bad area are sadly majority of the spryfield area and the fairview area (which is just next to the Clayton park area). I think all areas have nice streets, avenues, etc but even in downtown there are bad streets to live on.

I think SP's who are providing safe locations is Key, that consisting of safe buildings, with cameras, etc.

When doing outcalls, using Google maps to see where your going is usually a good indication if its a bad neighborhood or street. Even in spryfield which is a badish area, there are nice small subdivisions and streets in which some very reputable providers on cerb are based out of.

A good place for good food (nice specials) and fun atmosphere for a few drinks, iI'd recommend the alehouse in downtown halifax. Its not like any pub you'd get to see on east coast.

Rents in halifax are like toronto's now,thats a scary thought to think they may go up even more.Not all salaries will go up,but be assured everthing else will,so it's not all positive and do we really want to become like FortMcmurray or Calgary,Getting around in Halifax now is near impossible now,I don't mean to be a downer but there are some negative sides to this good news,just my opinion!:icon_cry:

Cristy, ideally as the demand for a larger work force increases the wages and salaries become higher just like in Alberta. Yes there is a possibility of rent and tax increases but in an ideal situation higher wages should offset other increases. Well at least that's the hope, we'll only know in a few months once this whole operation starts snowballing.

Yes great new, looking forward to seeing an economical improvement on this side of the country. Greatly anticipated by nova scotians but is a good sign for all the maritimers, this should increase available jobs in the market greatly. Which has been on a steady decline since the last recession.

Halifax has alot of highly rated SP's and not seeing one due to certian circumstances shouldnt be the end of the world. Also if enough people cant contact with landlines, i'm sure she'd at some point adjust her screening methods also, so there is some hope.
