Regarding the size of SIM cards, it is quite easy to convert a standard size to the smaller micro. All you need is a pair of scissors and a steady hand (lots of YouTube videos out there to show you how).

I did this when I went from my iPhone 3GS (standard SIM) to a 4S (micro).

Yes I could have got a brand new SIM from my provider, but I like to live on the edge.

I just got an error replying to a post in a social group because the message was too long (>1000 characters). I'm sure I've seen longer replies in the forums.

Is it because :

a) There are different rules for the social groups?

b) Because I'm new/moderated?

c) Neither, the 1000 limit always applies?

I agree with Cometman, I think that is totally fair to warn others.

In terms of trying to salvage a missed appointment, I wonder if having a Twitter account would be useful, especially if some of your regulars followed you. Obviously it should be a dedicated work account rather than your personal one.

You could quickly tweet something like "Hi boys, I've found myself free and looking gorgeous - give me a call if you're in the mood".

Getting back to some of the other comments, personally I would have no problem with deposits for SP's who have to go out of their way to get ready & make arrangements.

So from browsing around here it seems some hobbyists have a second dedicated phone for arranging appts. I was toying with this idea, but where do you stash your secret phone from your significant other? I would have a much harder time explaining a second phone, as opposed to an ill timed text to my primary one, which I could likely pass off as spam.

So how do you make it work? I'm having visions of Walt from Breaking Bad standing on a desk hiding the phone in the ceiling panels ...

Well, I guess I can't call myself a hobbyist quite yet as I haven't taken the plunge (more of lack of opportunity rather than nerves). It still makes me chuckle that this hobby is called "hobbying" though.

I've been lurking for a few weeks, trying to catch up on all the info & advice for newbies. This site is certainly informative so it's been time well spent.

I had no idea there was such a wide selection of lovely ladies available in Ottawa, along with like minded chaps. I never realized that little old Ottawa was so horny - who knew!

Anyway, hope to meet some of the lovely ladies in the not too distant future.
