I've read stories in the Citizen, Sun and even CBC now about the Barefax, complete with video feeds and pictures. I enjoyed going there but I'm not coming within a mile of the place now, can't take the chance of ending up as background on some reporter's update on the crooked senator turned strip club manager.

 

Makes me wonder about strip club economics. I'm sure Brazeau will bring more groups of people, the ones that spend their money on booze while they ogle the girls. I sit by myself and never get more than a token drink, but I spend plenty in the back. If guys like me avoid the place but they get more groups buying beer, are they making more money? They must get a cut of the upstairs dances, and the strippers certainly don't want their regulars going elsewhere.

True. Just have to hope the attention dies down after a while. Plus, maybe he only keeps the gig for a few months or year at most before moving on to something else.

There was a cute 19-year old brunette named Riley at Barb's this past weekend who says she has also danced at Pigale's.

Her dances were ok, but she was extremely cute and could become one of the faves here soon.

Currently, I think Jordan (who alternates between Barbs and The Fax) has the best grind distinction.

I haven't been to Pigale's yet though (so there may be some challengers to the throne), though reports seem to suggest the mileage there has recently fallen below The Fax.

Any more intel on the Miley Cyrus look-a-like? Like what her stage name is and how her grindage is in the CR?

Thinking of making the venture to Pigale's but really don't want to leave the comfort zone of Barefax/Barbarellas. You can really be left to your own devices at Barbs especially and not be bothered incessantly for dances. Just drink and not have to worry about the high-tempo hustle. Even the girls that do ask for Barbs are usually really nice. I hear Pigale's has a piranha tank feel.

But this Miley look-a-like is pretty intriguing.

She also dances at Barbs sometimes that's where I had been looking for her :) Can't wait for the next visit.

When I saw her last (at Barbs), she mentioned that she prefers Barbs to Barefax but I didn't see her at Barbs when I was there last Sat. night (this was the 11th).

So she may in fact still be alternating between the two.
