  1. I'd have to say yes, seeing as the law was written with no distinction between sexes.

It doesn't say MEN can't do this or that, or women this and that... It simply says the purchase of sex is illegal.

Just saw the article about the Sydney man being charged under the new bill, and guess what? He was not soliciting a woman, he was soliciting a MAN.

I don't think it's relevant what sex you are, as buyer or seller.

    Law is law.

  2. I don't understand why this topic would bother you so much. The fact there appears to be many misconceptions about why you and your colleagues use these sites suggests there is a need for this discussion. What better place to have it than here (especially here). I certainly feel better informed because of it.

Let's not turn someone's curiosity into something it isn't.

I guess I'm more irked about the 1st response more so than the OP... Ridiculous assumption that all any of us want is money and we have no actual human feelings or needs whatsoever. On that note, I guess that means every hobbyist is a deranged pervert? (I don't actually think that just showing you the opposite sex equivalent of that 1st response)

I don't think it should be discussed here, as unanimously all SPs speaking up on the topic are basically saying any profiles we have for our PRIVATE LIVES should stay PRIVATE.

  3. What I choose to do as a single person is no one's business but my own.

I am an escort presently, and I am on a dating site.

Perhaps I am one of the girls in question, perhaps not. That's irrelevant.

I'm a little peeved that this is even a topic for discussion as what I read between the lines here is that we are all expected to not have feelings, to not want relationships in our lives, cause we are just hoes right?

The first comment after the OP is that we must be on there to round up business....SHEESH.

I don't mean to put words in your mouth, but this is just how I see this discussion. Why not ask yourself why ANY women are on dating sites? What does my profession have to do with my personal life? nothing.

Yes, I have run into clients via this dating site, no I do not date people who have paid me for my time.

Thanks for giving me a reason to return my photos to private, even if I wasn't one of the girls in question.

  4. this thread is making me feel inadequate :(

    lol!

    .

This is EXACTLY why I started this thread.... to show you guys what it's like to be compared to unrealistic photoshopped images.

I know you guys probably don't think we care, but we do.

Guess what? We feel inadequate too, daily.

We see all kinds of threads about "best bum" and other similar things...

Most of us will NEVER live up to these expectations, and it can be detrimental to our self esteems to see it all over the site all the time.

As far as I am concerned, this thread is for us ladies to enjoy, and for you guys to have to try and force down your own medicine. Sorry.

  5. I'll have to chime in again because I think some people interpreted my last comments differently than I expected.

I in no way said the girl is "sketchy", in fact I made sure to say she probably wasn't.

What I did say is that this communication method is grossly misused by wrongful people, intent on doing harm and or other negative things. Until such people are eliminated from this world, I will never trust such apps.

If clients want to use it, go ahead - but not with me.

If SPs feel this works best for them, who am I to dictate?

I simply shared my honest opinion of such apps, which was that I stay away.

    Far, far away.

  6. I ignore such things as an SP... google #s and other spoofed numbers indicate to me that you have something to hide. Even though this is kind of expected from men who are married or have jobs they are concerned about losing.

    Fine, I get it.

But guess what? Guys intent on doing us harm would also do this.

At the end of the day, MY PERSONAL SAFETY is of paramount importance to me, as should yours be to you.

I'm not saying the girl in question is unsafe or up to no good...Maybe it's her personal cell tied to her real name and she doesn't want to mix that in with this business? But perhaps she should get herself a phone number that is legit to use for the hobby so as to not give off an air of .... sketchiness.

  7. Just a little tidbit of info....

I've been on cerb on and off since 2006.

In those many years I was asked to provide B B a few times, I could count with my hands how many times... never provided.

    HOWEVER.

I recently decided to expand my advertising venues, and ventured into the BP world... The first day I ran my ad there, I had a ton of proposals for this highly unsafe activity.

    I was super shocked.

Every single one of them is blacklisted and mentioned to other ladies on our private section of the board.

What that means is not only are you blacklisted from seeing me, any respectable cerb lady who also blacklists men for such a request may also read my private threads and blacklist you too without having even been contacted by you.

So, to the OP - Do not ask for it just to "test the waters", it's counter-productive.
