For those who didn't want to leave paper trail, there are always pre-paid Credit Cards at Walmart you could pay cash for. Reason I know is some clients of mine have done this
It's still not discrete. I still have to go BUY that card - which means spending money from a bank account. Not to mention re-loading it at any given time. There's only so much you can 'hide' on a business account (and of course my SO is the second on my business accounts in case of emergency), and I sure as heck can't use a personal/joint account for it! When I say there is no truly discrete way of doing it, and "...no way to send payment without some risk of a partner finding the transaction at some point," that's the truth.
