Weary Traveller 100 Report post Posted October 5, 2015 I wanted to share with the group (both clients and SP's) a great smartphone app that will help keep your phone number private without blocking the number. Download a free app called "TextMe". The app essentially assigns you a new phone number for texts and phone calls. You can send & receive texts as well as make calls using the new phone number without providing your real number. The best part, is when the app is turned off - no calls or texts will come through (you don't want to be disturbed at some delicate moment by a call or text). This may not be necessary is the SP (or client) you are contacting is someone you know and trust, but this provides that extra security for situations that warrant it.
