Main reason being that we never really had full privacy at the DT venues. As with all locations, they will be convenient for some and not for others. If you live DT, it is a hike to get there. If you live in the west end it is far more convenient. I found that the drive may be longer but it doesn't take longer because of the time spent getting in and out of the DT area, finding parking and walking to the venue. Another issue is that there is more demand for restaurants and bars at this time of year for Christmas parties. Some members attending the parties offer rides to others, following the Xmas Social thread will have these offers in it! Hope to see everyone on the 10th of December!
