bigjim22 100 Report post Posted February 15, 2012 Hi guys / gals. I was in Quebec City a few weeks ago, and decided to try out a local MA there. After a bit of research, I settled on a place very similar to CMJ. I was told the damage would be $80 for a 45 min session, and that no tips were involved. Coming from Ottawa, it sounded too good to be true, but sure enough, that was the deal. The place was upscale, much like CMJ, and the attendant was about 20 years old, an absolutely beautiful spinner (similar to Jordan at one of the Ottawa spas here), super friendly, and very talented. The session included slides and reverse action, as well as unexpected prostrate action at the end (I didn't ask, it just happened!). It was as good or better than anything I've experienced here in Ottawa, for $80. The girl told me it was 100% owned by a few of the girls themselves. I tried a second place in town which was also $80 for 45 mins. It was not as nice, but for $80, it was hard to complain. So, my question is why are we paying almost double the price here? I could see $20 more, but double?? I have seen reverse booking threads in the UK, where guys can post what they are searching for, and providers respond in PMs with a proposed rate and info. Perhaps that is what is needed here, to encourage some providers to lower their prices a bit. I am sure some will be angry at me for posting this, and I agree everyone has a right to charge what they want. All I am saying is that if an attractive and talented young woman started offering massage sessions for $80 or even $100, I'd be going more frequently, and probably exclusively to her.
