I have a bit of a different take on this. Do I think you should feel ashamed or guilty? No. Do I think it's inappropriate to have your children wandering around with the potential of walking in on you working. Hell yes!

 

Like some of you mentioned, this is what we do for a living and every client we choose to see helps with the day to day bills, food, etc. But I personally think that having potential strangers coming into your home when there are children present is a risk that I for one would not be willing to take.

 

Again, I'm a firm believer of the phrase "to each their own" but I can understand the way you are feeling about the situation.

Alexis, you took the words right out of my mouth! I would never let ANYONE in during my visits! Unless it was the fire dept, and the place was on fire!

I assumed when I did not see anything, other then the new council area being closed as stated that mod had chosen the first council. I also assume if you need something brought to council, that you have to PM mod, cause a lot of issues are not council related.

If I am incorrect mod feel free to correct me.

The idea of letting the community nominate it's own watchdogs and free up Mods time sounded like a no brainer... what became of it? The area just closed and became more of an announcement zone instead.

on the topic of the Who's Online thingie ... I know that both the "other" board and this board use the same bulletin board program. One thing I find extremely helpful on the "other board" is that paid service providers have their name in bold which makes it easier for us to distinguish them.

The "paid" advertisers are the banners at the top and sides of the site! Unless you are reffering to EC. In which case it is seperate from this site, and that would only make even more work for mod!

I only do incalls, but even if I was to consider an outcall I would require the drapes to be closed. What happens behind closed doors (or windows) is between us and nobody elses business. I am a private person and prefer to keep it that way. My drapes are always drawn before the client arrives.
