  1. MPs and incalls are both great and I can get the same service with both. I just find the MPs to be quite a bit more convenient for me personally. Price wise it works out about the same. Outcalls are more expensive because I have to pay the extra for a hotel room and driver fees. If the only reason I'm in town is to see a Lady outcalls costs quite a bit more. I spend way too much already.

  2. Victoria BC's Gas Price ppl is $112.9...

    Unbelievable

ya. you guys have a new HST also.

Even the CERBY gals have to collect 13% instead of 5% and give it to the government

I'm now at an 8% dissadvantage on the labour against the contractors that come down from Winnipeg. Thanks Dalton, that'll realy help my business.

I can drive 30 miles to West Hawk and get gas for 94.9 so that's worth it for a full tank

  3. I went to EB yesterday. Wow the place is very clean and classy looking as usual. Looked in the album and there were lots of beautiful women to choose from. Had a very nice session with Bella. I've seen her before when she was Persia at Nevada's. Well worth the visit.

  4. In your business it is saving you money. When you last bought a PC or equipment or furniture or supplies you paid the 8% PST but claimed the 5% GST as an input tax credit. Now you will be claiming the full 13% as a credit so you save 8%. Any of your customers who are HST registered businesses will not see any increase. Many businesses had to administer two sales taxes and now it's only one so they save on that too.

The people that pay are the final consumers who are not HST registered and that is why we get the Ontario income tax reduction or the credits for low income families.

We just attended one of the HST seminars provided by Canada Revenue Agency and finally understood what it was all about.

    Dalton & Steven

(so now you know where d-blue comes from, d for Dalton and 'blue' for the Conservatives)

    Additional Comments:

I'm behind it because it is good for business and anything that is good for business helps create jobs. More jobs mean fewer unemployed which means less government support which means lower taxes for me.

I don't blame anyone for being upset about it but I am frustrated by people that rant because they don't understand the big picture. There are going to be a few people who lose out in the short-term but I believe that the HST (instead of GST and PST) is good for the economy and that eventually makes things better for all of us.

Minimum wage was very low for years but it has increased significantly in the last 6 years, from $6.85 in 2004 to $10.25 in 2010. 50% is not a slow increase and it's way more than any increase in wages for the rest of us! To use your example bread and milk prices have not increased that much in that time and I never pay the prices you quoted so I'm wondering where your cousins shop. In SW Ontario we don't need to pay more than $4 for a bag of milk and $2 for a loaf of bread. Those that shop at a variety store, or high-end grocery stores like Loblaws or Fortinos will pay more.

It's time I stopped posting in this thread, I'm starting to sound more like a politician than a pervert :-D

Boy, they saw you coming... My customers are not low income and ultimately have to pay the 13% on everything I buy for them and now on the service I provide which is now extra cost to them. Telling me I'm going to save 8% on my next computer is ridiculous when I spend much more on gas and utilities. It's a tax grab.

I'm done posting in this thread also.

  5. Lindsay, the tax cuts benefit all Ontario tax payers, the credits benefit low income households who may not be paying any Ontario tax.

The middle to upper income tax payers benefit more from the tax cuts than lower income Ontarians. If they pay more annually it is because they choose to spend money on goods and services that have increased in cost.

    Additional Comments:

Transport companies will not pay more for gas. Any HST they pay is deducted from any HST they collect before it is remitted to the government. The same applies to most other increases caused by HST except that there are some restrictions on HST tax credits on utilities for big business for a few years. Any business which generates less than $10m per year will save money because they will no longer pay PST.

So the 8% pst I no longer have to pay now becomes part of the 13% hst.Is that saving me money? Well maybe I'm not understanding the HST. All I know is I didn't have to charge my customers PST on my services only on the goods I purchase and 5% GST for the service and now I have to collect 13% for everything. How's that saving anyone money? Taxes and saving money don't even belong in the same sentence. Please correct me if I'm wrong as I havn't sent out any invoices this month and all I got from the government is a little pamflet telling me how wonderful the hst is and that I can send it to the same place I sent their gst.

  6. A lot of that was just bad luck. Your contractor had to pay PST on the furnace when he bought it from his supplier and that was included in the cost to you. Had he bought it after June 30th he would have paid HST only and claimed that as an input tax credit against HST he charged you. The furnace would have cost him 8% less and that saving should be passed on.

The HST combines the two taxes, you're still going to pay 13% It's just a tax grab. Ontario saw how lucrative the GST is when it comes to certain services and wants to cash in. Noboby is going to save 8%

  7. Good for business ? Make things cheaper in the long run ? all I know is that My customers have to pay 8 percent more for my services. How's that better and how's that going to create jobs ? What a joke. Well at least we can lay off all the provincial sales tax people. As if.

  8. If by high end he is looking for someone superhot then he has to wait for the touring girls. We have some attractive ladies here, but nothing on the scale of what you can get in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver.

you're kidding, right ? There's lots of hot ladies here. Maybe Politeman should let us know what he means by high end first and we can stop guessing what he's actually looking for.

  9. Stay away from it. If all you want is a rub and tug go to Executive Bath / Time Out. If you want full service Nevada's looks best, but better looking girls are at Broadways. Sometimes you can get lucky at Moonlight, but the place doesn't look so good.

If you want full service, I find you get better sevice with SP than at MPA, but there are exceptions.

hold on there desk jockey. I agree with most of what you say about the MP's untill you say sp's are better than MPA's. I think that's a matter of choice of location to do your thing and doesn't have anything to do with the particular provider. I've done both and there's good and bad within each environment.

Never been to the Osbourn health clinic. Just heard about it a couple months ago. Noboby says much about it and if they do it's not that great. I think I'll take a pass on that one.

  10. there's lots of BBW out there and I have enjoyed the company of several but I'm not sure they would like to be referred to as big so I'll ask them how they feel about it and will definately recommend some that I've seen here in the Peg. Some gals find that insulting and some don't so if I ever want to see them again I'd better see if they think they're a BBW first.
