  1. I use Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultra as well as Magix Movie Edit Pro depending on what it is I am doing at the time. Both are good depending on what it is you are trying to do. Pinnacle is now in eddition 14 and usses allot of addon pack which can get expensive. http://www.magix.com/us/movie-edit-pro/?partnerid=9015 http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Products/Consumer+Products/Home+Video/Studio+Family/
  2. As far as Asian goes here in Ottawa, well it is kinda muddy. I have heard too much about bait and switches and have not really looked around too much. You can check the Sun classifieds and try one of them and role the dice ...... I am sure someone else here in Ottawa may have more first hand knowlege about them, sorry I don't. Now you can also try one of these 2 ladies .... http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=18319 ..... Magie has a great recomendation here at Cerb .... http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?ltr=M&t=17612
  3. Yes Slurp I have to agree with all you said and am glad I took the plunge and joined up at CMJ today and enjoyed the company of Jayda. Now the big temptation is not to rush back tomorrow. I wouldn't heistate to recomend Jayda as well.

    wtf?

Yes there is so much stuff going around now it is hard to Keep up ....... I just spent the weekend fixing a friends computer because she clicked a link ...... you don't even have to do that anymore but with the tighter security on Vista and now Windows 7 that is getting harder for unscupliouse web designers to get around now. Though I am sure they will find a way. When I was testing Windows 7 I tried AVG for windows 7 ...... and was reasonably impressed with it for a small program. Not ready to switch myself but for someone that is on an older system that can't run Nortons, Kaspersky or bit defender ..... more so Nortons it is a nice little program that does the job. But keep in mind no security software is perfect.

    wtf?

there is so many things that it could be it is hard to tell I just mentioned the most comon. I have dealt with this so many time in the past with my X ..... it is amazing how easily it happens. I would suggest one thing though and that is to go and change you password for the affected acounts. If that stops it then the issue is that somewhere along the way you got hijacked.

    wtf?

Odds are your computer is infected or you have filled out some form somewhere on the internet that gave someone access to your contacts. More than likely you got caught in a drive by ..... you visited a page and didn't realise they got your info. Update your anti Virus software. There are allot of good ones though some people will argue which is best. I trust Norton's Internet security though lot's of people will argue this. Another good option is go visit the Microsoft one care website and use thier free online safty scanner to scan your computer. This is a very good free tool though I would not use thier program you buy at the store. http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm
  7. Thanks Guy's ....... she has changed numbers a couple times and seems to share with some guy that plus all the shaddy stuff on CL was enough for me to at least wonder. This just settled it.
  8. I was just wondering if anyone has any info on Kim ..... I have seen her on CL but had been warry till I seen here here Cerb. http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/member.php?u=23184
  9. Never been there but looks like it is over the chineese retaraunt. There should be a door there somewhere. Take a look on google maps street view ......... looks like there might be some stairs to the left of the restaraunt.
  10. Yes was thinking about her myself as well. I noticed she is not even listed there anymore. Another girl is using Brittany now or different pics and stats is using the name now.
  11. DVD Santa is another good program though it is not free. but if you know where to look you should be able to find it. Here is a link for DVDSanta there is a trial version for it there though it does leave a watermark on the movie till you buy it. http://www.dvdsanta.com/ I do use Magix Movie edit Pro 15 for some DivX, avi and H264 video downloads and is fairly easy to use but will set you back about $90. Though if you keep an eye out at Future Shop and Best Buy you can get it on sale for about $60. This program does allot more than just convert and burn movies. With a bit of practice tou can clean up both video and audio for a crisper clearer movie. There are plenty of quick tutorials to help you learn how to use it. http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10122140&catid=21212 Keep in mind that no program will work for every type of video clip ...... there are too many.
  12. Here is a great site where you can find anything and everything about burning movies ......... http://forums.afterdawn.com/ When it comes to DVD's ...... I use DVD+R disks because you can bitset ..... or booktype the +R disks to DVD-ROM for greater compatability ..... this only aplies to movies burnt in DVD format not XVID type disk. Not all burners support this so being able to do this is dependent on your Burner. I know BENQ, Sony (IDE Type not the new SATA drives), Samsung and some Plextors do support this. As for disk brands I burn Taiyo-Yuden, Sony or Rytek / Ridata disk's. There are many cheaper brands but thier quality and life span sucks. Software ..... Nero is about the best though there are many and many different opinions on this. If your downloads are in DVD format a nice little free program is IMGBURN ..... http://www.imgburn.com/
