Posted via Mobile Device Additional Comments: I used to be a promoter. That said, there are many clubs and pubs that are available in most cities. In my small town there are 2 clubs that are 25+ once a week. On those nights they make the most money because "older ppl" won't go out unless it's a 25+ night. Most young ppl still act like they are @all age dances and us "older ppl" don't want to deal with high school behavior. The atmosphere is much better when I don't have be aware. Of the 19yr olds who run around spilling drinks and picking fights with random strangers. It's a club/pub owners choice as to what they want their place of business to be viewed as. As for those getting turned away from parties, make friends with some staff on slow nights, show them ur not a dick and have money to spend on the ladies and I'm sure they'll give you a players pass. My bff is fresh 19 and he gets in with me all the time, kids got style $$$ and charm, so it's not impossible. On an end note, just to comparison; if I still had my sex shop and a pardon came in and asked me to change my hours because it's "inconvenient" for them, I would just give a list of other places that suits his/her needs. My shop my rules, I'll be nice and tell u where else you can go and have ur fun. And if my place is a total hot spot and making mad money .... Why would I change it? Speaking for myself.............. no. I never ask for tips and ask to be paid in blocks of time not in services rendered; everything I am willing to do as a consenting adult is always on the table. I know that both sugar and I advertise the 3hr blocks of time, I know for myself that I do this in order to give discounts to the gentlemen that book me for multiple hours ($200 per hr, $500 for 3 hrs = $100 discount.) for myself this is strictly marketing and has nothing to do with the experience or services rendered, because as I stated before everything I am willing to do is ALWAYS on the table. Like gosh who wants to feel like they need to fuck with an ATM in the room?

agreed......... the Valhalla is the most discreet hotel in thunder bay and you can even go down the the lounge bar for a nice drink afterwards with out being stared at, very classy. They don't seem to mind escorts at all there as long as we look the part with a touch of class. I just love that room @ the airlane, lol :P

I agree with what was previously stated............. 1hr booking is most likely just to meet the physical needs of the client. But something If felt that wasn't mentioned is that fetish, Dom, fantasy, ect. is best done in a 3 hour blocks. So although I do create an intimate/kinky hour, I would personally prefer to fulfill my clients whims and wishes in completion in a 3 hr block of time and give them the full experience they were looking for (provided it's within my limits).

my question is why the police are not being contacted about "that agent" that takes money and fines like crazy. By the way I think EVERY SP in the bay knows who your talking about even if they haven't worked there. I've been an agent and trust me it's hard work!!!! those girls/guys don't work for you, you work for them!!! and damn can they make you work, lol. It was less work being a call girl then being an agent, that's why I LOVE and APPRECIATE a good promoter. A good agent should handle your business the way you want so that they can make more themselves because your happy to work with them. in general it's about 3-6 months depending on how your promoting yourself. You get around a lot quicker with an agent. But if you move to another city you get to be "new" again for that area. I find that advertising "new" is more for the regulars of the area rather then anyone else.

ummm guys for the record................. Prostitution is COMPLETELY LEGAL in Canada!!!! Solicitation in a public place (ie. street corners or giving out cards in restaurants and bars) is illegal. Us SP's can advertise in newspapers, websites, magazines, any form of print because the consumer "chooses" to read it. Therefore making it non-public. Any "professional" should know this, and shouldn't be worried about law enforcement. I have a great relationship with the police in my area, and I've worked for agents that are REAL professionals and have seen cops in those agency's. All they care about is that we are safe (yes this is the first thing that the police care about here is the SP's safety) and that there is no illegal activity such as drugs or underage prostitution. Again I say that there needs to be a school for prostitution, and a country wide regulatory system. Not only to stop these scams, but also educate the people working in this profession so that they are not taken advantage of, or advantage of you.

well said. as an independent I don't ask for tips, I just make my "donation" fee the cost of everything I'm willing to do. Working for an agent is totally different. Actually without tips working in an agency you make next to nothing in comparison per call, but the reputation and 24/7 availability and knowing those lines are always answered are what makes working for agents worth it..................... if they can produce the volume. I miss Discreet Encounters, IMO it was the best agency in town for a long time. I wish we had an agent like that back in thunder bay, I would totally work with/for them.

I've worked on and off (mostly on) in the Bay for 10 years, most of the people from ten years ago are not around............. there is a reason for that. I know of 3 personaly that have fallen victim to hepC and HIV for an extra $100. not worth the lives they live now, one already passed away. If BB is the trend we are getting into then my business is going to go WAY up for the responsible and respectable people who want to be safe. as some girls cater to a BB menu, I will attract those who find heath important. In another thread there was mention of name changes always being perceived as scams. Although my, well for lack of a better term, "true" name has always been Madison Sparks, but I've also gone under other names for short periods of time because of look and personality changes(I will explain this in a moment, promise). But have lied about being Madison or did willfully seek to deceive clients? In my opinion, no I have not, but I do see where it can be perceived as so and for that I deeply apologize. I at heart am a performer/dancer/magician and I like to bring a bit of that into my work as and SP. From time to time I like to bring on a character for us ALL to play with. (you did come to play, right?) From the PunkRock Princess(my personal fave :P) to the Posh European Debutant (I am french you know) these "fully developed characters" are always under additional advertisements and phone numbers not associated with, lets say, the Madison brand. GFE eh? I've purposely been lurking this thread since it started. I was waiting to see what others would say, and now I think I see where the confusion lies. If I may? terminology seems to be an issue in the sex trade industry because there is no set AGREED terms by both SP's and Hobbiests. In refection of this tread alone is seems that SP's and hobbiest have different meanings to the same abbreviations. The first time someone had asked me if DATY I asked for the meaning, dining at the Y. why don't we all be big girls and boys and use the proper terminology cunnilingus? I know I do now, because we have created this "gray area" of terminology and language that prevents us from clearly communicating with each other in a truthful way. In my personal observations and experiences, I find that the "you get what you pay for" concept is pretty firm in Thunder Bay. I've been a local in Thunder bay for 11 yrs and I have always been unsatisfied with the level of service and representation from agents or independents with "economy" rates. I once meet a woman crawling up in her years that had a very high call volume and asked me if I wanted to take a few calls for her. Of course I did but what she had failed to tell me is that she charged $50 for a half hour and $80 for a full!!!!! and the prices reflected her client list as well. The one call I preformed was with a VERY rude gentleman, and I never took a second one. My prices have always been above the norm since I became a licensed independent, and it has weened out many of the disrespectful gents. My call volume is perfect really, I don't have to worry about being over tired, and the clients that book with me are just bloody freaken wonderful!!! But price is a notification to the client about what to expect. when I started out making $60 per hour after agency fees plus tips I wasn't making enough to invest in myself for work. when you work at that price on a 24 hr schedule your become run down and mentally exhausted looking for ways to get multiple hours or tips to make the call worth your time and effort. So what you end up with is an exhausted call girl/boy who is doing nothing but sleeping and working, no time or energy to take care of themselves physically, mentally, or medically. Although without a solid following of clients raising the price above others is a marketing nightmare!!! I actually gave out coupons to first time clients that gave them 1/2 price off the second hour if they came back to book again *BTW ladies this is a great marketing campaign to get yourself out there ;) My point being, regular "hobbyists" are wise to what they want and are looking for. Prices ranges are as important as descriptions and how sweet/polite your agent/booker is on the phones in determining if a client chooses to book with a sex trade worker.
