What are your thoughts? Does sex tourism bare any comparison to partaking locally? Is it wrong to visit another country primarily for sex?
I don't really care what people do, I don't have a problem with this, but...
From all I have read, the women are totally exploited. I believe that. And while this is true
On the other hand, they say that about us too!
I just feel more comfortable in Canada with respect to this

I find that I am quite selective about age. I usually am most comfortable around someone my age, maybe up to 5 years younger or older then I am.

Not in the slightest bi. I kinda wish I was, more people to be attracted to!

Last month, I attended a wedding of a couple who met through speed dating. I don't think there is anything wrong with it. When they told me on how they met, both of them really left an impression on each other right from the start. After the event was over, they met each other in the parking lot and talked for an hour, then went for dinner. They became a couple soon after.

I met with an SP who was '420 friendly'. We hotboxed the bathroom, and left our clothes outside. I had an epic time, everything to do with my sense of touch felt immensely pleasurable.
I really don't get the judgements from some people here. Would it bother someone if SPs say they are open to having a drink during the session? Or that they drink at all?
Both the SP and I only did it because we both knew we had no intentions of operating a vehicle for the rest of that day, just like I'd hope anyone who drinks would do.

The real question seems to be "What is the purpose of these boards?"Do they exist solely as a place to research, through reviews, the safety and service of a particular provider? Are they a place to seek and obtain peer acceptance? Are they a place to rant about all that angers you in day about our society and the people/politics in it? Are they a good place to find support (of any kind) for your positions or travails? Are they solely advertising platforms?
Yes.
The thing with Lyla is that there is a clear purpose of this board. With Terb, there isn't. Till the moderators start doing their job, it will continue to remain a hostile place for SPs.

I don't ever recall a Presidential candidate being the subject of an FBI investigation, let alone this late in the game. She is every bit as corrupt as LBJ and she seems to be as paranoid as Nixon. Some might say that the email server issue is small potatoes or that it's all a witch hunt, but regular people have been criminally prosecuted for less serious security breaches.
People (including presidents) have been let of for more serious stuff -
While Trump doesn't have a FBI investigation on him, he did have to go through, and going through 169 federal lawsuits against him. I didn't check, but I think that's a new record for a presidential campaign
Last but not least - Clinton (the dude)

What is 'fixed income', 'blue chip stocks' and 'REITS' ? Whenever I've googled things like this, i cannot understand it as the industry lingo takes over and I will googling every word or acronym into eternityFixed income for the most part is used synonymously with bonds. You buy a bond for, let's say $100 dollars. It will pay $5 a year, for the next 40 years. It will stay $5/year, regardless of inflation. The $5 is 'fixed'. Hence - fixed income.
Blue chip stocks - Ever go to a casino? The blue chips are the most expensive ones. The name blue chip stocks was inspired by this, and blue chip stocks are stocks of high worth, reliable companies. For example, GM during the 60s, Apple since recently, Walmart, Visa, etc. The Dow Jones Industrial Average, which is an index of 30 stocks from two exchanges (NYSE, NASDAQ), takes in only the crème de la crème of blue chip stocks, which in turn are supposed to be reflective of the market in general. There are positives and negatives on this, but that's a whole other discussion.
My investment strategies is quite boring, and reliable. I like blue chip a lot. I love companies that have a diversified portfolio of products, like P&G, which makes just about a quarter of your household shopping list, or Pfizer which has a strong product portfolio of pharmaceuticals.
REITs - Real Estate Investment Trusts. A lot of people invest through real estate. They buy a second house, then rent it out, or they flip houses. It's a fair bit of work. One way people can get exposure to the real estate market without all that hassle is through REITs. Companies set up these REITs, and investors such as yourself put money into a pool. This pool of money is used to buy properties that are usually much larger in scope (office buildings, malls, commercial properties, large residential projects, etc), and usually rent them.
Also, as Helena said, investopedia is a great tool.

The best answer I know to the 'investment' question is this: http://canadiancouchpotato.com/
Any new investors should set aside a day, and read the whole thing. If you are young, old you will thank you.

I really truly did think I found love. I really truly did believe he loved me.. I gave him my everything in hopes for something in return.. I wore my heart on my sleeve and made myself vulnerable
I know there is life after love and I won't give up because I would like to believe that there are still good guys out there who don't have a mission to destroy someone
Well, this sounds really familiar, just replace he/him with she/her. I spent way too long on my disaster, and it sucked when I finally left. But it got better slowly, I gained more respect for myself, more confidence then I ever had, loved my family and friends (my true family and friends) more for being there when I needed it. I now look back at it all as something that made me stronger. It will be a lot better I promise.
once the house is sold do I get the cheque on sale day or do i have to wait until i actually move out?
You get the cheque the day you hand over the keys, and give up possession of the house itself.
Good luck with your future endeavours.

There have been a few members who identified as female clients, but they aren't that active. I've seen a post here or there.

What I'd like to know is of the married Hobbyists and SP's how many of you wear wedding rings to rendezvous? If so, why? If not, why not?
There is an SP that I've seen a few times. In one of those times, when I walked in, I noticed a very obvious looking engagement ring. We were talking about something, and I didn't mention it. The next time I saw her hand, there was no ring. Never saw it any subsequent visits, never asked.
Again to the same audience, do you mind, or more so do it like it, when an sp or a hobbyist meets you with a ring?
I'd like to say the ring didn't phase me at all, but it did. I still had an amazing time, I still repeated, it's not a deal killer by any means what her personal life status is. But there is this nagging feeling, something which is by no means justified, but yet still exists. I'm not even sure what this nagging feeling is actually. I don't have any romantic feelings for her, she is a conduit to some of what I've been yearning to explore, and a pleasant and fun person to spend a few hours with.
So the shortened version of a complicated answer, I think personally I'd prefer that an SP take of her ring, if it's that ring, but if she doesn't, it's okay too.

Tell me it's normal... to fall for your first spI never felt as if I was falling in love with her. But I have a bit of a soft spot for her. I understand that this is a service, a rather intimate one at that, but I received a kindness and care that was beyond what I had imagined from someone who I hadn't met a day prior. In my situation, I did feel quite vulnerable when I saw my first SP, and she was amazing, and did wonders for my self esteem.
I didn't 'fall' for her, but I wouldn't fault anyone, or call someone weird or off if they did. As long as that person reminds themselves of the guidelines, and avoid putting the SP in an awkward spot.
----
There was one SP which I did feel as if there was something; this was much later on. We lay on her bed, talking. I felt a sort of connection. I enjoyed my time with her, but I quickly decided that it would be best if I didn't see her again. I didn't want to put her and myself into an uncomfortable position.

There was a thread similar to this one, I think I shared this story already. But I'll share it again.
I see this SP quite regularly. We loosely keep to time, which is to say that on some occasions we stop early, and some go on for a while. I try to keep the latter to a minimal, I try to keep an eye out for time, but I do lose track sometimes, especially when we are just laying down talking.
Once she said she felt bad because supposedly we weren't having enough fun (Not sure what she meant, I have always enjoyed my time with her). I told her that I enjoyed every moment of it. She tried to return a portion of the donation, which I refused.
Once I had a bag with me. At the end, I took a shower as I normally did at the end, and I left. After 10-15 minutes, she texted me saying that she refunded a part of the donation in my bag, because she knew I wouldn't accept it otherwise.

There is no good reason to recreationally use pot, and certainly none that make up for the actual harms and risks it presents. "Just cause I like to" isn't a valid reason.Fair enough, but then the same argument can be made for alcohol and cigarettes. So we either ban it all, or we legalize it.
I for one think we should just legalize and tax it.

Robotic sex workers would be a fancy way of saying sex toy. Don't see anything wrong with a sex toy. Won't beat the real thing. Nothing is like a real person.

After leaving, and on my way home, I get a text from the lady saying while I was in the shower, she stuff a bunch of the fee back in the bag I had with me. As a thank you. She knew I would have refused, and did it in such a way that I would not get a chance to.
Same lady once invited me out for dinner after we were done one evening. We spent a while talking, at a place close by her place. That was a wonderful experience.

Leave her. Run away from her. Don't look back. Don't think, just go. Whatever you are thinking, I guarantee it will not end well.

This mirrors my thoughts exactly on the subject

Love it. Although it's not a deal killer if I see someone who is not into it.

I've mentioned it a few times here before - I'm Muslim. Not a particularly religious one, but then again, no one in my immediate family really is, except my mom. I know many Muslims of varying levels of faith and devotion to religion.
And every one of them agrees that this is an incredibly complex issue of which there are no simple answers. The terrorists that come from Muslim families here are the easiest ones to fix. The last few years have jolted the Muslim community to talk to the younger generation more about being involved in society, form relationships with those who aren't Muslim, learn from them and teach them. A good number of Muslim youth are already doing that, I did it. But you have families that are more secluded for a variety of reasons. Parents are legitimately scared, they are scared of Islamophobic incidents (which often go unreported), and they are now scared about their kids picking up the worst of Islam on the internet, beyond their abilities of supervision.
Then you have the recent converts to Islam who are for whatever reason, inspired by the violent interpretation of ISIS, Al Qaeda, and the rest of the terrorists douchebags. One idea that's floating around is to increase the prominence of a peaceful, coexisting vision of Islam, so that whoever wants to look into the religion don't get the ISIS version of it.
In the end, I can say this for sure. There are many ideas, some are decent, some not. I don't know what it will take to fix the problem.

Haven't read the books, and after reading some exerpts, I doubt that I will. The trailers looked weird, the relationship between the two kinda felt creepy in the two minutes to never want to watch that movie.
My best friend got roped into watching it with his GF. His exact words were "I wish I could have just stared at a wall for 2 hours instead of watching that movie".
Political correctness. Has it gone too far?

I feel this topic is massively overblown (this is the word 'low' with a b and an n), and used by people who want a free pass to be offensive to spew out bigoted stuff.
On the Yale survey, a study found out that almost no professors bothered with trigger warnings, with barely any one of them getting any sort of backlash, or even complaints. Regulating this whole 'trigger warning' business to something that every keeps hearing about from someone else, but barely see themselves.
