    His answer was simple: ''Because it was there!''.

     

    In the present case the explorer's answer would be a poor one indeed, because it would not talk of the wild beauty, overwhelming excitement and sheer pleasure pleasure it would bring.... to the tongue tied lover!!! To each his own mountain I suppose.....
