There is still a fair amount to do for Tom's estate, and I am thinking of renting a condo, as I am tired of hotels. Question is, where is the best place to look, in the burbs or downtown??? Depending on where you need to be most of your time or where you have to commute to makes a difference. If most of your business and lifestyle is downtown I would avoid the east west commute. Hockey games and events make the trip west a pain on those days and general volume of traffic on the Queensway is sometimes brutal. Downtown may cost you more but it may offer savings in travel and time. If you are leaning to the west though I would look for something around Bayshore to Island Park stretch. Easy access to both areas and the travel time is what it is. Westboro has a great vibe and will be close enough too and has some nice buildings although maybe pricey.
