As a provider , I am struggling to find a platform that is not only friendly to Sw , but also affordable. Lyla was once , not only the most popular board , but also the most positive place to share & connect. Since it died , what do we have ? We had Backpage , average affordable, but adds were flagged and scammers started ruining it for everyone. We had Kijiji that was not very sw friendly or popular. We have Terb , pricy and it became extremely hard to even post for providers without being flagged for self advertising or banned. I myself got banned. Twitter that turned to X and banned providers hard work promoting with over 10-20-50k Followers. I got my account banned , like so many other hard working providers. We got Tryst that is slowly starting to be somewhat kind of popular. But again , they take a our money to advertise. We got OIC , Bloom ect .. and …. We got here on Lyla [ FREE , SAFE ,SW FRIENDLY & already established ] If clients are browsing & providers posting , it will get alive again. So I am asking everyone to give it a chance. If you are a provider , please post …Start threads and support your peers. If you are a client , please scroll and see what’s offered here. Participate to conversations and be positive. It is great for new providers that are starting because this platform is full of information and resources. It is great for providers that will be posting here instead of paying ridiculous amount of money to other platforms taking advantage of their popularity. Let’s migrate to a better place. So, new providers cannot get verified, and can't advertise, except in the general discussion areas. Let's face it, the new owners dont want this site to be a successful advertising source. Mature Andee 45 Report post Posted 8 hours ago I was a member since before 2010 and then somehow my account got locked down and I did manage to get it back, but I still can’t advertise under the advertising section for Ottawa or Hamilton the two cities I travel to. So due to lack of moderation if I do want to post my availability it would have to be in the general section which technically I shouldn’t do but like others it’s the only place to do so. And as much as I would like to support this board, due to the lack of moderation and communication with whatever mods do exist, I am unable as a legit provider to contribute to this board in the way that it was intended.
