Nothing quite like travelling by train in my opinion. Just came back from Toronto on the weekend by Via. Prices are terrific. Get you right into downtown and avoids the airport.

Whenever I go to toronto, I fly porter. It's hands down one of the best in my opinion. You can get flights as cheap as $49 sometimes.

 

They also have a porter lounge at the Ottawa airport with free drinks, free computers (macs as well!), free wifi, and on your flight you get

a free meal and booze.

 

Also too it doesn't drop you at Pearson, it drops you at Billy bishop, which is downtown, about 7 minutes from union station.

 

Porter rocks! And a lot quicker then the train too
