True, and in fact I don't recall Canada getting hit during those alien attack either... I think we're safe. I think being prepared for probable events (blackouts, freezing rain, storms), but preparing for the end of days is nuts. I suspect that TV show may be sponsored by the companies that sell the stuff to prepers (bulk food, dry goods, guns, ammo). It comes off like an hour long advertisement for paranoid over preparation.
