Service Provider Trainee

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. I'm going to be joing the ranks of providers in the Thunder Bay area and am looking for advice with respect to location.

I want to rent a place that would be suitable for incalls.

I don't mind renting an apartment or a suite, but worry about neighbours who notice "traffic" coming and going at various times.

I thought of renting a room in a hotel, but again I'm not sure if a number of men trapsing in and out would present a problem at some point.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Wishing a happy and prosperous new year to all.

Although I don't know the Thunder Bay area, when it comes to having an incall, be it a apartment, condo, house or hotel, the key is discretion. If you have a steady stream of clients day and night, neighbors will notice or in the case of a hotel, the management and staff are going to notice.

Submitted for whatever it's worth

As for specific apartments or hotels locals would know better than me

Hello and thank you for your response. I agree that discretion is a top concern, but I have received some extremely helpful PMs.

Have a great day!

I've done both the hosting in an apartment and hotels

Hotels can be expensive when used on a consistent basis; but it also offers you the opportunity to limit the amount of days that you work a 24hr schedule.

When finding an incall location it is wisest to not use your own home for safety reasons obviously. Mind you some girls do and have no issues, but if u are "new" to this playing it as safe as possible is wise. You'll also feel much more comfy and concentrated on enjoying your work as well. Imo

That said when looking for an apartment or condo make time to meet your neighbors. I have always found that if you are polite and nice with a sweet and simple cover story will make you and ur traffic welcome in the area. What most ppl care about is trouble. If you can show others ur not trouble (drugs/drama/aggressive or unruly clients) then 9/10 that no one will care what happens @ur place.

From person experience I've worked for agencies that have an open door policy with the local police that offered in calls @the time. It was not rare to see a uniformed officer in the lobby every month just checking the ages for the girls and a quick look in common areas just to see it was on the up and up (no drugs, slave trade). So thunder bay is kind to us providers and don't bother us unless we give them a reason. The first thing we all need to remember is that we are not doing anything illegal.

I'm pretty well versed with this city (11 years) if you'd like plz feel free to msg me if you want any advice :)

I believe that all service providers should be wise about what they are doing so that they are as safe and HAPPY as possible.

Welcome to CERB love <3

I would say your best bet would be to look for a house rental with a private driveway or laneway. Also with a side door or back door entryway. Your other option is to look just out past the express way at renting a place. Still withen city limits but just out in the country a little. Most of the apartment buildings I have lived in or been to in Thunder Bay aren't great for noise. So depending on the time of day/night you may want to find one that has a corner bedroom on an outside wall if you know what I mean. My other recommendation would be to look for office space on some of the core areas around Thunder Bay. Stay about 10-15 blocks away from the Casino area. Also stay awys from the Court Street to Bay Street to Macher Avenue to Pearl Street block. Yes it's a okay area but they have a lot of issues around there with the Casino and Bars. Also in that area there are a lot of other types and the last thing you want is someone to come see you and they get mugged coming or going. Other areas I think would be good in the North Ward would be up River street to Red River Road. Lots of places with great parking and even a lot of small offices with parking. There was a few empty store fronts up on Dawson Road across from the new Walmart and I believe there is or was a entirely empty building in the County Park Area that has an apartment attached to it. The South Ward I would stay away from the Simpson Street to Mackinze street area. I also would stay away from victoira ville area with the bars around there same thought jumps in my mind. Someone to see gets mugged coming or going from your place in that area. Check out the upper areas around Aurther Street and Victoria Avenue. Places a long there are pretty good and I would say a fair price. The last place I would say would be around the intercity mall area. Rent is a little higher but it's a centre location and with the new hotel coming in that area it's a great location. I hope this helps. PM me if you have question about an area I will try my best to help you out.

I have tried numerous times to post and respond to PMs with lengthy messages and I have been booted off the server too many times, (lol).

I have never really host from a private house, but I would avoid doing so especially in a neighbourhood that have a lot of kids...if you have a lot of traffics and always cars back in your driveway people will start to talk.

Your best bet is always a high rise condo/apartment building that required you to buzz your clients in. Also a building that does not have security in the hall 24/7 or that they required visitors to sign in. I would recommend you to keep some "regular" hours as well and stick to them not seeing people around the clock...a good time to receive ( at least for me) is in between 9am-7pm as most of my neighbours are at work so traffic (not that I am high volume) goes unnoticed

Hotel can go both way for me...there is the motivation to work a bit more to cover the cost and also it's most safe than receiving in your private residence...but at the same time if you are having a really shit day and don't feel like working, you still need to do so to cover the minimal cost of renting the room.

I would add to this that I work from my place in a residential area. I know my neighbors while keeping too myself. I find working where I live to be very discreet, have used my last 3 places for this purpose as well as living. It explains traffic as I also host family and friends, my mail comes, I walk my dog etc. My neighbors are friendly, and after two years at the same place I take that to mean no ones talking along the lines of .. that girl is an escort. I doubt they would be letting their kids talk to me if they had even the slightest inkling.

That said, I am a low volume provider. If I had more back door visitors in and out day and night that would certainly draw too much unwanted attention my way. But essentially, you can work safely and discreetly anywhere in the city if you match your needs with the location you are considering. Hope you find what you are looking for here :)
